Very pleasant and accommodating. Reasonable prices and didn't charge for things I didn't need.

When I came to Atlanta Hearing Associates, it was such a warm, friendly, welcoming and professional place, right from my first step through the door. This was a night and day difference from the other place I went to. As a clinician myself, I appreciated her warm, friendly, and informative approach, unlike the other place I went before. Best of all, she was able to clear my impacted ear within 3 minutes (which the other place said would take 2 weeks worth of visits to do). I could not have had a better experience. Thank you Dr. Prince!

I sent them a message via the website over the weekend to get more information about the ear wax removal process. Rhonda replied Monday via email answering any questions I had. I then made an appointment for 10:30am Saturday. I was running a little behind Saturday but they were understanding. When I got there I filled about 3 pages of information and then Dr. Jodi came and took me to the back. She was very nice and personable. She was telling me what we all already know, don't use a tips, lol. She then checked my ears. To my surprise my left ear was clear so she only did the process on my right ear. The amount of wax that she got from the ear wasn't much but at least it was gone. It's $30 per ear for the ear wax removal process. They don't take insurance but you do have the option to use your HSA to pay.

At 3:00pm I was taken to an examination room and told I would be seeing two doctors; Dr. Eric Weinman who would examine my ears and Dr. Ericka Pegler-Tucker who would administer my hearing test. Dr. Weinman examined my ears and told me I had wax in both ears and would need to have the wax removed before my hearing test could be done. Dr. Weinman took me to another examination room and completed my wax removal from my hears in about 5-10 minutes. I was then told I would have my hearing test shortly. The receptionist or a staff person came in to the examining room and proceeded to tell me because it took time to do the wax removal, I would have to schedule another time to come back for my hearing test because Dr. Ericka Pegler-Tucker because she had another patient who she needed to give a hearing test to. I told them I would wait for that test to be completed (about an hour). They came back and said Dr. Ericka Pegler Tucker did not want to do that and I needed to reschedule and come back another time for my hearing test. It appears this practice overbooks patient appointments and you could wait awhile to be seen if it all. I would not recommend this practice.

I lost 85% of my hearing in an accident in 2015 when I was out of town visiting friends. Upon…read morearrival back to Atlanta, I immediately went to the Doctor at Advanced Hearing Centers and got an examination. (the exam from the doctors office was covered by insurance) ... please note... The Exam Only. Right away (even the Doctor) was more interested in getting me fitted with hearing aids than diagnosing the damage. This was my first "clue" but there is nothing that can be done when you are at the mercy of a Doctors' diagnosis. I had lost my hearing, and I was easy prey. Next, I went downstairs to have another hearing test done, and that was where the scam started revealing itself. But again. when a person is at a disadvantage there is nothing you can do - after the fact. Insurance does not cover hearing aids no matter how you lost your hearing unless you are willing to forgo years without aids and shell out thousands of dollars until your case is cleared. The cost is on you so please do your research! I was treated by a very young audiologist (wish I could give you her name!) and I am not an elderly person. She spoke to me in a very disrespectful (demeaning) way which by itself made me irritated, but she seemed to be robotic in her nature. Never made direct eye contact with me, and never addressed me as an individual...etd..etc. She spoke more about her upcoming wedding than tuning the hearing aids! After much inquiry about the different models displayed she insisted on Starkey Hearing Aids as the "very best on the market" blah, blah...well... what do I know? I didn't have a clue as to which devices were better than the others I couldn't hear and I needed help! I purchased the Starkey Z series ($5,475.00) which came with a Sure Link unit ($500.00 extra) to be able to hear phone calls and television thru it. She was so excited to sell me these "new technologies".. uh hunh. I see, you get a commission from Starkey, as I would assume you would get from any other models displayed in your office, but STARKEY must pay you higher. Here is the result and reason for my complaint - I have had to replace the first unit for a manufacturing issue, and now the "replacement" has failed, and you guessed it, the warranty is up. That's right... $700.00 to replace the 2nd unit for faulty manufacturing. When I spoke to this (same woman) audiologist at (advanced Hearing Centers) she announced in the waiting room in front of waiting clients... "You are the only person with this problem" WOW! ... sure I am. I have checked with Consumer Affairs and seen numerous complaints about Starkey so no - I'm not buying your BS for a second time! How utterly disrespectful she was and had been, throughout the process of adjustments which has taken a FULL YEAR of monthly visits to "get it right". I wish I had someone like myself warning me about the practices at this place... I would have found somewhere else to go. So, Buyer Beware! Starkey will NOT support you as customer - like Advanced Hearing Centers they are only interested in milking you for money.

Anyway, they did a good job making appointments easy for my Mom, and were able to get her a pair of hearing aids that have made a huge difference. She's been back a couple times to have them cleaned and checked and has no complaints. Fair simple and easy to deal with!

I actually spoke with him Saturday and he gave advice regarding pain and said he would see me Monday for the removal. I was concerned about the bleed recurring upon the removal and shared that with him. His response was immediate when he assured me not to worry, if that happened, I was in the right place. He was correct. He explained every step of the way what he was doing and let me know in advance when it was going to be uncomfortable...let's just say painful. He handled my condition with a confidence and competence that made me feel relaxed and relieved my anxiety. Dr. Weiss' website states it is their intent to treat patients as if they are neighbors or friends. Although I had never met Dr. Weiss prior to this, I felt truly he treated me as if I were a friend. The receptionist is incredibly cold--when I asked for a doctor's note for the typical time off, she snapped, "It's gonna be whatever the doctor says" in a nasty tone. The nurse also seemed highly incompetent; when I asked her questions, she literally just ignored me and stared at me. Communication here is a nightmare--you can't call them directly, you can only text, and you mostly get what feel like automated AI responses. They even lied about calling and leaving messages. When you finally do get someone on the phone, they act like you are a burden and couldn't even handle a simple medical records request. I switched to a different ENT who got my records on the first try and was a pleasure to work with. Plus, Emma has far less surgery experience than my new ENT surgeon who fit me in on the same surgery day I planned for. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
