    This experience was just awful. We've been coming here for a year. This particular visit will be…read moremy last. Nekia McNair was the nurse practitioner who waited in my daughter. My daughter always brings her shot with her because it was always filled at Walmart. I even called the pharmacy at a Walgreens the day before her appointment to talk to them about transferring the prescription and they said they would have to call Walmart. My daughter always tells them yes she brought her prescription because they always ask. She told Nekia, but Nekia forgot. My daughter placed the shot by the laptop Nekia was using. For some reason Nekia did not hear my daughter or see the prescription. She used a prescription she had. When my daughter said something about the bill being high, Nekia said I used a shot we had and you can use yours the next time. My daughter paid. When I saw the bill, I went in to see what was going on with their prices. Nekia says I didn't see her ahot and didn't hear her say she brought her own. I can't do anything about it since I already used what I had So I asked was I charged and just out of $87. She said yes. I said my daughter was charged $87 for a shot we just got for free from Walmart pharmacy. She said there's nothing she can do. Ma'am it was your mistake, but I'm supposed to pay for it. I'm still waiting on a response from customer service since the case was escalated. $87 for a shot that was free from the pharmacy has me confused. The fact that I have to pay for her mistake has me confused. The acknowledgment of oh I didn't know, but you have to pay has me confused.

I received a bill for $179 yikes. Aetna rejected the claim and said that while CVS is in network the Minuteclinic is not. I thought Minuteclinic was part of the CVS retail chain but not necessarily. Be sure your insurance covers the visit and the procedure. By the way when you call Minuteclinic customer service you are on a long hold just like when you call and want to speak to a pharmacist! Not good.

There is a slim Latina older lady who is very very pleasant. This place does not respect your time and one time I was 20 mins late they expected me call to let them know I'm running late. Respect my time and I will respect yours. I had the last straw when someone called me to pick up documentation and I could not pick up the same day so I did the following business day. Noone knew what I was tslking about saying no one called because their system was down. Really? Even if the proof was in my call logs? Ok fine. It gets worse, they finally figured out who called me. She NEVER drafted the document so I had to wait almost 2 hours for that to be done. Can it get any worse? Yes! Document ia finally ready. I read the first few words and it stated that my daughter was diagnosed with a certain disorder (she was going to be ASSESSED not diagnosed). I told the incompetent front desk lady that it is wrong but she's referring me to the next line. The first line is incorrect why should I care ehat the next line says? How can she be diagnosed for something and u have ZERO proof of that. She had never been diagnosed yet you want me to accept this like I dont comprehend written English Language? I never got an apology for my inconvenience. No respect for my time. NONE! I beg of you, please take your loved one to real Doctors who care, real Doctors who pour into their staff to ensure that patients and parents are respected and well cared for

Right away the people at the front desk seemed like they had no idea how to check me in. The employees were having to talk back and forth to make sure they were doing it correctly. The ladies at the front desk were extremely kind though. Next the nurse didn't even close the door during the intake process. Anybody out in the hallway could hear me sharing my medical information. The employee charting had no idea what to do and the other employee seems a bit confused too. I had to spell out every medication I take and they had no clue what they were (basic prescriptions you've likely heard of yourself). Most of their patient room items were ripped, old, or barely working. Did not feel clean and sterile in there. The doctor had no clue what she was doing and was in and out consulting with people in the hallway. She honed in on the first symptom I mentioned and ignored the rest. I repeatedly had to restate my symptoms and when they started. It's like she didn't listen at all. She then tried to prescribe me a medication that is known to have a severe interaction with medication I already take. She tried to give me a multitude of tests that would take many days to come back. I refused and left. She wasn't happy with me but I didn't feel like she was listening to my issues. The way she was talking to me felt very condescending. FYI: they do not share test results or discuss your symptoms over the phone. There are signs all over that you need to come back in person to get results. Seems like a scam to make you pay for 2 appointments. This was the only place I could find without a 3+ hour wait. Guess I should've realized that was a bad sign.

She quoted me the self pay price but also informed me where my insurance was likely to be accepted. That simple act of kindness (going above my expectation) was appreciated. So while I didn't see a Dr at this location, I would refer others because it's apparent, they take their job serious. You're going to be treated right.
