They immediately split, my little two took a left to the young adult and youth room and my teen took a right for non-fiction. They offer a great selection of all books! This is completely unacceptable. They can be exchanged for goods and services, and are receivable by all national and member banks and Federal Reserve banks." By LAW, no business on US soil can lawfully refuse Federal Reserve Notes and coins. Midtown Magazines is violating US and Georgia laws. The Spelman bookstore is actually just a short walk from the Morehouse bookstore. How convenient. As you come down the bookstore's street, you will see a sign on the top of the building saying Spelman Bookstore. At first, I thought there were some steps leading up to an entrance. But no. If you round the corner from the print center, the entrance is on this same first level. There is an upstairs once you are in the bookstore. I was looking for a shirt for my mom and there was the perfect shirt right upon my entrance. Right color and price point. Approx. $10 for a college t-shirt is pretty darn good. I didn't see as much variety of products as Morehouse's bookstore, but maybe there was more upstairs that I didn't see.

It is also a little hard to shop here -- it's not always clear what is new and what is used. There were new-looking books in with clearly used books but not everything had a price on it so it was hard to know what I was finding. Otherwise, the sections were clearly labeled and the books were in almost perfect alphabetical order. I can see how this place can establish itself as a local hangout for bibliophiles, attending all the hosted book club meetings. It just isn't a place I will seek out to go shopping at again.
