The owner, Mishel is the one to work with-basically a personal shopper who will gauge your shape, size and need and pull together 3-5 outfits to consider in 15-20 mins. Her mom is a whiz at alterations and she won't let you leave without making sure the fit is perfect.

While we were seated at a table picking out invites, an obnoxious woman came in harried and loud and she needed emergency fast invites for her kids bd party and we were asked to get up and stand for the remainder of our visit and let her sit because she comes in all the time and is a repeat customer. Despite this, we still bought invites from them which I regret. We had quite a few with misspelled names, their fault. And I was told I would have to pay for re prints even though they messed up. They capitalized incorrect letters in some hyphenated last names and told me the way I had it was wrong. Also when I went to pick up the final products the lady at the register was cold and rude and I was so happy to pick up my invites and was just admiring them and she kept saying hello that's $250 balance. You have to pay now, you can't come back and pay it later. She was so grumpy and rude and I wasn't running out on the balance I was just taking a split second to admire the invites. If I could give half a star on customer service I would. The shop owner said it's a fake review. Well let me add in a pic of my invites then. When I met her 4 years ago, she seems a little distant and nonchalant, as if she had better things to do than deal with customers. Don't get me wrong, her design skills are pretty top notch, its her customer service skills that are her downfall. Some people have better customer service skills, while others are better at producing... My sister in law decided to use them for their wedding invitations, because we used them. She liked what she saw, but knew that the service wasn't that great. She was able to get what she needed done, in the time frame it needed to be done so she didn't mind. When she picked up her stuff, Linda was decently rude to her, so since my sister in law doesn't yelp, my wife did it for her. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and supportive, and they completely eased my mind when dealing with my indecisiveness. I had a specific budget in mind, and they were able to work within it to find me the absolute perfect dress. Since I live in Manhattan and commute to Paramus, their excellent communication and transparency when the dress arrived made the process incredibly smooth. Their seamstress, Nelly, is absolutely phenomenal and immensely talented; she went above and beyond by showing me exactly how to bustle the dress and letting me video the process so I would know what to do on the big day. Separately, she also used leftover bridesmaid dress fabric to create custom pocket squares for the groomsmen, and she executed them beautifully.

When I first walked into Vera's I was greeted so warmly by the reception, namely Irene. The shop was super clean and looked fairly organized. I was paired with Tiara and I showed her a few images of dresses I tried on before with parts that I loved in each one. She picked out 3 dresses for me. What an eye she has! When I tried on the first one, I KNEW IT WAS THE ONE! It's like watching Say Yes To The Dress when brides just feel it's "the one". I tried the other two anyway and after both, I still felt like I needed to try the first one again. Joanna is a magician. The dress was a size 10 and she needed to take it in to a size 4/6. The final fitting was so surreal, the dress fit me like a glove. My dress is intricate with beading and lace and it's crazy how she was able to alter all of it seamlessly!! Because the dress was a floor sample, and not my size, it was at a better price point than a lot of other boutiques. I felt very valued here compared to other boutiques. If I had to recommend a bridal shop, I would highly recommend VERA'S!

Funny enough, I did not like any of the dresses that were on my vision board, due to this Dolores figured out my style rather quickly. She was kind, understanding, and she listened to my needs and wants.
