We had to wait a few minutes for a table, but it was so worth it. The menu is quite diverse. My son and I both decided to get omelettes. They were delicious! I especially loved the chicken sausage in mine. Sourdough toast was perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed the root hash. That was a nice substitution for hashbrowns. Our coffee cups never went dry. This little whole in the wall has been about 6 different places over the years. Well, now it's truly worth going to. I had the meatloaf special. It was delicious and had real mashed potatoes and the nicest medley of roasted vegetables. The roasted veg had carrots, Brussels sprouts, celery, zucchini, summer squash and red peppers. We have passed this "Cafe" at the corner of Route 41 and Ayer's Road many times but this Saturday was the time we finally pulled into the parking lot next to the Florida Highway Patrol station. I wanted to get the kale salad but was told they didn't have it anymore, so I chose the Wildflower salad, but they didn't have the lemon poppyseed dressing (strike 2), so I asked for each dressing as an alternative. Hubby chose the roast beef sandwich with onion rings on toasted rye bread. Our lunch came in a reasonable time, and we had a good conversation with the waitress. Hubby's sandwich was a reasonable size and he said it was good. My salad was fresh and delicious. The cafe is decorated nicely, but I found the ladies room needed a deep cleaning. Restrooms are located in the rear of the cafe, and unfortunately there were lots of supplies stacked in the hallway to the restroom location as well as a freezer. If customers are using the restrooms they have to walk down a long hallway that is filled like a stockroom. Not sure we would return. Staff is friendly, food is good, but back of the place really needs organizing and cleaning. read more

Was ok 6 weeks ago for breakfast. Coffee is not good not dark and robust. light to medium (Folgers I heard) I traded in for Lipton hot tea. Chipped beef in chipped beef gravy is very scarce. Gravy is passable kina thin. Seems like quality is going farther down. Don't know about the pies 20.00 ea. Is too rich for me. Sausage are too salty. Scrambled eggs were ok. I'd just buy Sam's Club pies and put em out. I grew up on a very large farm and breakfast was my favorite meal. I can cook you a breakfast from Benny eggs to blueberry pancakes. SOS ground or chipped. Get better products charge a bit more if you must. Eat at KeKe'S cost more but always good. Service like everybody says is great. If you don't speak up things won't change. First time nice cozy off the wall place . I got the cakes and bacon. Fluffy cakes and Delicious. The bacon too thick to be crunchy like I like them . I recently stopped here for lunch & will definitely go back. My sister-in-law had a huge omelette & a blueberry pancake that she gave me a bite of. The pancake was light & fluffy and so tasty. I wanted more but, she had already finished it before I could snag another piece. I already had breakfast so I ordered the chicken salad on sourdough & it was good with nothing weird in it, just lots of chicken & not too much mayonnaise. Looking for a restaurant to eat at since the original restaurant was closed for vacation. Driven by here so many times and finally decided today was the day. We arrived at lunch time and were starving. Seated quickly and staff was really friendly. My husband ordered the mushroom and onion burger with fries and I had the Wallflower breakfast which comes with two eggs, French toast, and your choice of a side. I chose home fries. Also had a side of bacon. OMG!!!!!!!!! That food was fresh and home cooked. Our waitress was quick, courteous, and very attentive. The prices were good and make sure to bring cash. It's too hot inside to eat there. The food is decent for the price and we really wanted to like it due to its location. I gave them 4 tries prior to this review to try to get the air conditioning fixed. I even called prior to my last visit and they stated that they got a new unit in. It's impossible to eat breakfast and enjoy a hot coffee when it's 80+ degrees inside a small open restaurant. They did add fans that are on blast this leads to you smelling like a greasy grill upon walking in. Food was ok and the concept was cool. Service is hit or miss. Some visits they don't have enough staff and then other days they have plenty of staff. The temperature outside today was cooler than the temperature inside. read more

My name is Antonio, and I was the lead cook for 1 1/2 years at Peachy Pies Café and Fresh Market. I am posting this because the truth needs to be told about their "fresh" market. Define "fresh" and decide for yourselves if what I am about to inform you is truly fresh. The definition of fresh according to Oxford Languages states recently made or obtained; not canned, frozen, or otherwise preserved. Let us look at their baked good. They claim to be "fresh and homemade." So, while they do bake their products, they do not use fresh ingredients, therefore, they are not homemade. Such as the following: 1. Biscuits are bought from Walmart, frozen. 2. All pies dough and pastry dough are premade pie dough from Walmart. 3. All fruit fillings except for peach (which is frozen), are canned fruit. 4. The brownies come from a boxed brownie mix from Sam's Club. 5. The only freshly made from scratch are the cookies. In the "fresh fruit cup," all the fruit comes from Dole's canned fruit except pineapple or depending on the day, cantaloupe, or honeydew. If you order one, you can see two different looking pineapples, that is because he mixed the fresh pineapple with the canned pineapple. Next time you are in the restaurant, feel free to ask your server where the products come from. While the owner has the resources to make more "fresh" products, he chooses not to. Instead, he uses distributors, Walmart, or Sam's club to get all his products. In closing, I would like all the customers I served, thank you for giving me the opportunity to cook for you. read more

Party of 4 went in for lunch and the place was full. We sat to wait for a table. An elderly couple came in after us and were seated at a table for 2. A few minutes later, they got up and moved to a just vacated table next to a vacant table for 2 that was going to be moved together and prepped for us. No employees said a word to them or us about us waiting. Can't comment on the food, but our personal experience was not satisfactory. Only 1 star because I'm not sure I can leave 0. read more
