My desire to have a houseful of shabby chic stuff is well documented. I was married for 14 years to someone who...well, his taste runs more to office depot. I made the journey today to check out these cute little Peruvian mirrors they get in from time to time. I'd ideally like 5 silver ones. They only had three I wanted and one wasnt totally silver...so I didnt buy today. But I will keep monitoring and likely go in again. Theyre freaking adorable. There was no one around at noon on Sunday so I could drool in peace. They had a number of cool old pieces. All the drawers opened easily ( unlike my current cool old pieces). I could have happily loaded up my car if I only had a place for them and a wad of cash. Not only do they have cool old stuff but they will paint/refinish/distress your cool old stuff too. Sweet. And they have sales from time to time on facebook. There was street parking right on 6th in front of their door. Easy peasy. I think they have some other flea market events indoors a couple other times during the year and you can check their facebook page for details (though it seems like they don't always post a lot of info there and they don't have a website other than the facebook page as of this writing). We went to the open-air event on Main Street and there were a lot of vendors over a few blocks. Various antiques and collectibles, household/kitchen items, decor, holiday decorations (vintage and new)...basically the wide range of goodies to peruse at a vintage/antique market. They had a few food trucks there as well, plus you have all the businesses, restaurants and coffee shops in downtown Oregon City there to wander around and grab a nosh and/or beverage. There is plenty of free parking around downtown and they also have paid parking on the street and in lots.

We found some interesting old items there to purchase well as NM Pinon coffee. She did ask that only paying customers use the restrooms but you could buy a soda or candy bar to fulfill that requirement. I believe they used to have a gas station there but not currently. In short, we had a nice brief stop to use their clean restrooms and enjoyed seeing this business which was founded in 1938 along the Old Santa Fe Trail (Hwy 56/64).

I found this pillow at the vintage nest a few weeks ago and totally loved it! i thought it was…read morevintage and a great find. since i loved it so much, i tried to look it up online to see if i could find the brand, since there wasn't a tag on it. i reverse image searched it and to my surprise its a SHEIN pillow. i feel cheated since it was sold to me as "vintage" for $30 and now i see its from SHEIN and costs $6. what a scam. the vintage nest does have some other good finds in the store but i don't trust anything they sell anymore. definitely not a vintage store. also just realized that this mirror that i found today in the store is from amazon!!! what a rip off. so disappointing.

Curiosities Vintage Mall was very welcoming and had great deals on everything in the store. The staff was quick to answer our questions and help us with looking for similar items. Curiosities Vintage Mall is an excellent place to spend time looking for just the right gift.

This place is really cool as yes... it is highly vintage oriented merchandise but we noticed more artsy and crafty items that were for sale too that were amazingly cool. So that added a further unique spin to this place. Also there was a plant vendor too that sold lots of different kind of little cactuses in various colored shades which further enhanced this place. I saw things of a vintage nature I liked... which were mainly old action figures... that was a lot of fun to browse through checking out all of those!
