I've used this pool service since Tracy first started the business. Over the course of time, the agreed-upon service day and time was changed several times to accommodate Tracy's needs without regards to my own needs. This resulted in me being startled and embarrassed by service personnel entering the yard when they were not expected. The business has now been sold to another service. I was assured that service would continue through August. However, since the announcement, video footage of the property shows that the technician has spent less than 10 minutes servicing the pool. I am hoping that the company who Tracy sold the business to will do a better job, but I am not optimistic and will start searching for alternate providers. read more

I have fine debris in my pool and its not going away and needed spring clean. I have called Tracy and she is amazing. She came first time to check pool to give estimate for no charge!. She gave me reasonable estimate. While cleaning my filter she found that there's a crack in manifold and suggested replacement, she helped me fix it. After couple of days we noticed there's still some fine debris, I called her, she came back and took a look and did some magic, its disappeared. Pool is in good shape now. When we called Peacock Pool Services for help, our pool was an emerald green slimy pond, complete with a couple of ducks that had moved in. we had already spent weeks and hundreds of dollars on chemicals, which seemed to be a complete waste. Tracy assured us that she could get it back to blue in short order. Closed. Tracy sold the business. Tracy and Vincent are really good, nice and reliable. Here is how I met them: I had never owned a house with a pool before and was totally unaware of what to do with the pool and how to service it. When we moved in the pool was green, the filter was not working and I was told from the old pool guy that I needed a new filter. He had changed the blades and still was not working because the paint In the pool was chipping off. Something in the story was not right. I started looking for quotes and two of the services I contacted saw my lack of experience and wanted to sell me all the things they could... The filter and a heater, for example. Tracy was different and honest. Tracy took a look at the pool even before we moved in and even before meeting me in person. She knew I was a newbie and took compassion on me! Hers was the best and most assessment. She did say the equipment was old, but not terrible and we could work with it. Also, the filter was not working because the blades were old and broken... In theory, the blades were new. Yes, the paint is chipping and perhaps that meant we will need to clean the filter a bit more often, but that was it. I quickly changed from the old pool service to Peacock pool and have not had an issue since. She changed the blades, cleaned the filter and that was it! Invoices are always on time, vacation schedule is always clear and service is always impeccable. Can't be happier with their help and services. I came to Tracy after having tried another pool maintenance guy, and even giving maintaining the pool myself a shot. Through all this my pool would have dirt at the bottom of the pool and have frequent green - outs. Tracy was able to correctly diagnose the problems with my pool, including having a pool filter of the wrong size. I followed her suggestions and I have to say that the pool is the best it's ever been - the water is so crystal clear that I can't wait for summer to be here so we can swim in it again. My parents' pool was about as bad as it could get: disturbingly murky green, an inviting home for local birdlife and enough potential for mosquito infestation that neighbors reported us to the county on several occasions. We'd gone through a string of unreliable, ineffective and unresponsive cleaning services who only made things worse. In desperation I turned to yelp and was impressed enough by the other turnaround stories I read here to contact Peacock Pool Services. Even before she agreed to take on the herculean task of rehabilitating our pool, Tracy was the picture of professionalism: she responded immediately, came over to size up the pool and gave her best diagnosis of what had gone wrong before (including poor decisions made by other pool cleaners) and what could be done. Her knowledge and experience far eclipsed that of any pool cleaner I've ever met, and she even seemed to relish the challenge. Within hours she sent an email outlining a multi-month treatment strategy and a very reasonable estimate that alerted us to specific costs that would fluctuate depending on the progress of the pool. Amazingly, she even offered to collect only part of the estimated cost up front, the rest contingent on whether the pool responded to the planned strategy. Over the next several months, Tracy came without fail to tackle the emerald sea in our back yard. I received regular updates of all developments, clearly explaining the current status and documenting the progress in photos that make for a rather entertaining album of gradually diminishing horror. At every opportunity, she actively found ways to minimize our costs--obtaining spare parts to fix our broken timer kicker, patching a leaky pipe herself and carefully ensuring that any equipment purchased or treatments were truly warranted. With each twist in the road to recovery, Tracy offered clear analyses of our options along with an objective assessment of the best way to fine-tune the plan that best fit our needs. The result, after several months of patient, persistent service and hours of dredging up sludge from the depths, is a pool that is no longer a biohazard and, if progress continues, might even be enticingly usable before long. But far more important than this outcome is the great relief I felt from the moment I put the pool under Tracy's able care. This was especially valuable to me since I don't live in the immediate vicinity and didn't want my retired parents to be burdened with either the pool or untrustworthy pool cleaners. Tracy's patient attitude, technical skills, clear understanding of our needs, and especially her reliability in both action and word gave me peace of mind that whatever happened with the pool, we could rely on her to do her very best on our behalf.
