There's so much to see inside, with all kinds of book genres all well-organized and easy to search. The staff was incredibly friendly and approached me twice to ask if there was something they could help me find. They knew where everything was and knew sometimes even before they'd look what was on the shelves and what wasn't (or what just sold a couple of days/weeks ago). Very insightful and their kindness made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for the used book lover!

Fast to fill my order, nice over the phone.....but, once I arrived to pick up my order and ask a few questions about the different waxes and wicks, the service quickly went "to hell in a hand basket," so to speak. I asked some questions about the differences between the waxes and the response I got was, "There is no difference. They are all made for container candles," (insert demeaning tone here). My next question was about some wicks (I wanted plain cotton wicks, not coating on them), and wanted an array of sizes, so the response I got for that was, " Umm, that's the 'cotton core' sample pack you are wanting," (insert demeaning tone plus that "are you a moron look" here). Of course, after I purchased the products and got into my car, the wicks were coated with a substance (wax I'm assuming, which I did not want, but was apparently too stupid to convey). To make a long story short, I called the office before going back in to return the wicks, to tell them of my horrible experience, and boy did the woman's attitude (the one who helped me) do a complete 180 once I came back in. Just as sweet as she could be. Shocking, huh? ;) P.s. the oils for the candles weren't that great either. They all seem to have the same "grandma" undertone. But, at $2.50 an ounce, I guess you get what you pay for. read more

This place is a joke. Always out of stock, get the same answer weeks later asking when the products will be back in.. delay with the manufacturer bla bla bla. Quit fooling yourself Peak, you're going under. If that isn't the case, you really don't give a shit about your customers....or employees if it is the case. The owners are extremely big asses too making their employees do their dirty work and have to tell the same story over and over because they cay do THEIR job with ordering. read more

This place is so cool, so unique, and so much fun to explore that I need to sing their praises properly. Our Crafty Ways describes themselves as "Curated curiosities for the magically minded. Discover crystals, spell tools, books, and bewitching gifts for those who walk their own path." And truly, that's exactly what the shop feels like--eclectic, enchanting, and full of treasures that seem to find you as much as you find them. It's been one of my go-to spots when I need a dose of wonder or just want to wander around and see what's new (and yes, I almost always walk out with something). When they announced an event called "A Black & White Christmas: Christmas Reimagined," I immediately put it on my calendar. No way was I missing a monochrome vintage holiday takeover. The Facebook description promised a full transformation into a Black & White Vintage Christmas Market--exclusive items, perfectly wrapped gifts, twinkle lights, vintage vibes, and even letters to Santa or Krampus. Say less. I was in. Before I even stepped inside, the front window display stopped me in my tracks: black-and-white Christmas houses, oversized white snowflakes, and just enough sparkle to feel magical. Walking in felt like stepping into another world. The entire shop had been transformed into a monochromatic winter wonderland with touches of silver and gold adding the perfect hint of shimmer. It was cozy, chic, nostalgic, and completely enchanting. I wandered for quite a while, chatting with the super friendly staff and admiring all the carefully curated displays. And yes...I bought something sparkly for myself. Even though I went in with the full intention of shopping for people on my holiday list. Oops. (Zero regrets.) This shop just speaks to me--its curiosities, its warmth, its proudly eclectic spirit. It's my reminder that there are other strange birds walking this Earth too, and we deserve beautiful spaces like this. Here's what keeps me coming back: The staff is consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Their curiosities are always rotating--you never see the same shop twice. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for such unique and artfully curated items. I'll keep stopping by when I need a pick-me-up, a moment to myself, or a little magic to brighten my week. If you're even remotely "magically minded" or simply curious...go! You'll understand exactly why this place is such a gem.
