We have been visiting there for more than three years and the service is impecable and very professional. A former patient of Peak Dental, was told I had "a few cavities" needed to be filled even though I did not have any discomfort or pain in any teeth. Omar Virani went to great effort to show me a picture of my tooth at 10x scale, he said in his "clinical opinion there is a cavity in there when he drills it will be much larger than you can see" I did not see anything. I told him I think we could keep an eye on it and check it next time as I don't have any pain/discomfort. He persisted and started to feel like a used car salesman pitch. Well, I never went back after that, and 3 years later visited a new dentist in North Van who took full x-rays and check up by the dentist, he said no cavities from what he see's. Mr Virani is a fraud! DO NOT GO HERE you will be conned into getting your teeth drilled/filled for no reason. They are scamming the insurance system and filling teeth that don't need to be. read more

For more than twenty years I had been going to a dentist in Richmond, I live in North Vancouver. It was a long trip, but I knew them but they recently moved even further, and with COVID I didn't want to travel that far. I had been walking past Peak Dental for many years and wanted to give them a try. Thank goodness I did. As someone who has gone to 5 different dentists in the last 10 years, Peak Dental Arts is the best one I've been to without question. Why? 1. The experience: The team is super attentive to all of your needs. The dentists, assistants, hygienists and front-desk staff provide incredibly clear expectations and educate you on what they are actually doing to you, every step of the way. Far too many dentists just go about their own business, not caring to explain all of your options and help you understand how to better take care of your teeth. The team doesn't look at the relationship ship with you, less as a single visit, but long-term where their goal is to set you up for success and ensure that frequent visits won't be required. 2. The technology: The studio adopts the cutting edge of dentistry technology in order to provide the highest level of care. New technology is not cheap and many other studios just go about using the "same-old", perhaps as a cost-cutting mechanism, or refusal to adapt. This matters because any work that is done is likely to be safer, less intrusive, and longer lasting, than older methods. No expense is spared in the interest of the best patient experience and care. 3. The dentists: I can't speak for all the dentists at this practice, but Dr. Omar Virani seems incredibly skilled. He managed to close up annoying gaps in my previous, janky fillings, where food would constantly get stuck and further irritate my gums. Other dentists, it seemed like every time I had fillings or cavities, the gaps would get just larger. Broke my tooth Sat night, called Monday morning spoke to a gentlemen and he made an appointment within the hour, easy going on the phone and understood where i was coming from. (don't know names). I came in the receptionist was very friendly, she got me all set up and then within mins Jennifer I believe her name was the CDA came to introduce herself and set me up in the chair we talked for a bit she was also very nice and easy going :) The Dentist came to see me answered all my questions and showed the the x-rays and next thing you know he said we can do this today if you wish, they provided me with two quotes and I said go! he was very professional and did a great job, an hour later I'm out with a new tooth. The confidence was back! (or at least the tooth was lol) Service is 10/10 Staff are 10/10 Quality of work is 10/10 Cleanliness of the office 10/10 I work in very busy environment and never have time to do anything at all really and this made me very happy as I was literally in and out in 1 visit. In one word, amazing ! I had such a great experience there. Went there for a filling, everybody was so nice. I met Barbara, the sweetest, with such a great customer service, she offered me a pillow to be more confortable, water etc... I don't know the names of everyone but I would definitely give a 5 star to all their staff, front desk included. I drove all the way from South Vancouver to see them because of the good reviews I read online, and I wasn't disappointed. And lastly, the dentist was so great. Very friendly and professional, he explained me everything, and I felt absolutely no pain. I recommend this place ! And I'll be back for sure ! Three stars just for doctor V, a clinic cannot run smoothly only with good doctor. Customer service is so important when a person deals with the public. Unfortunately we had a nasty experience with one of the staff, David. He was very rude is commenting a patient has a 'big mouth' and talks over you. That is very rude. I was visiting Vancouver from California when my permanent bridge (4 front teeth) just fell out. Yikes! I searched DuckDuckGo.com and found Peak Dental Arts. Great reviews so thought I'd contact them as they were just a block away from where I was staying. Just walking into the office was a pleasant experience - clean, modern with lovely aromatherapy. Morgan, the front staff person I talked to, was very pleasant and helpful. I arrived at the office shortly after they opened and was given an appointment for 2:30 pm that day. Dr. Zia Vergee was lovely. He replaced the bridge and explained that he could not guarantee the stability (one of the posts had broken) and then he explained my options and the pros and cons of each. He had the office email me the X-rays to share with my dentist in San Francisco. I am so impressed with the level of care here that I am seriously considering having Peak Dental Arts do the necessary work as I have a place to stay and the ability to stay in North Vancouver for as long as the treatment takes. read more

I heard about this place from a friend and I am so happy I switched to this practice! The staff is super friendly from the dental assistant to the dentist - everyone was friendly and very knowledgeable. The design of the place is also very modern and has an open layout. What I like most about this place is that they take extra time to explain what's going on with your teeth (even show you photos!) and describe the various options with the pros and cons. Upon entering this place kind of feels like a spa. So much nicer than that kind of clinical feeling you get at other places. The receptionist offered us water right away and I got to sit next to the cozy fireplace while I wait for my appt. I saw Dr. Virani and was actually pleasantly surprised that he was present for the entire cleaning. At my previous dentists' they usually handed off cleanings to the hygienist and the dentist maybe just did a check-in at the end. Dr. Virani greeted me sans mask (which is also pretty rare to see; my childhood dentist that just retired- had gone to him for 25+ years and I had seen his actual face maybe a handful of times!). He was super professional and guided me through what he was doing throughout the entire process. He was super gentle during the cleaning and I was even handed a remote control for the TV's mounted on the ceiling above my chair! Never seen that before! This place is definitely tricked out with the latest technology- all the x-rays are on big screens; painless high-frequency tools to clean the teeth; and even caramel flavoured fluoride-NOT the kind of your childhood that you couldn't wait to rinse off. Seriously.. it tasted pretty good. oh, post script- I also like how the receptionist gives you a call reminder AND an email reminder-- just makes it easier to balance life. The staff at Peak Dental were awesome, the office is new and design looks like a high end show home! Not pretentious though, and very welcoming. I came for a cleaning and exam, Dr. Virani was very patient with my questions, and explained my "areas to watch" thoroughly. They use high quality imaging to show you your exam results, it wasn't like your typical x-ray the way they display it. I was pretty terrified getting my teeth cleaned in the past few years because the experiences were fairly painful. As a result I stopped going and hadn't had my teeth cleaned in two years. I had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday by Dr. Rutwind, (without sedation) and I never thought I would say this, but it was actually a very pleasant experience. Had an amazing experience here after years of thinking the (now that I know) subpar service I was getting elsewhere was normal. Everyone I engaged with at this dental office was kind, courteous, and thorough. I experienced zero discomfort, zero confusion, and really felt so weird because I had been so used to things like dismissive workers/discomfort/other stressful things at other dentists. I decided to check out Peak Dental Arts through a friend's recommendation for cosmetic whitening as I have heard and read lots of positive experiences here. All the staff members here were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They really do go out of their way to make sure you leave on a positive note. All the equipment here is up-to-date and the rate for cosmetic whitening is reasonable, if not better compared to the rest of the market. No discomfort or pain was experienced during the process and the dentist frequently checked up on me to ensure I was doing okay as well. Overall, I'm super satisfied with my experience here and would recommend this place for anyone wanting to get cosmetic whitening done! My dentist recently retired and a very nice dentist took over but I really didn't have any relationship with this second dentist so when my wife, who also just decided to change dentists had a friend recommend Peak Dental Arts, came home with rave reviews, I thought it was time to change - two factors, the one was that they were much closer to home but more importantly was my wife's very great initial response (which doesn't come easily so I knew there must be something worth checking out). WELL - the difference between my former dentists, all of whom were very nice and seemed quite professional and Peak Dental Arts - Dr. Alexandra Rutwind and all of the staff has been astounding. My first experience (unfortunate for me) was a broken molar (cherry pit@*!) and when I phoned, they said come immediately even though I hadn't yet really established my relationship with them and Dr. Rutwind put in a temporary fix while a crown was made. Since then, when I went in for my regular cleaning, they did a complete X-ray and photographic record of my teeth and then prepared a total treatment plan proposal. Using the photographs and X-rays, Dr. Rutwind very carefully reviewed where there were immediate problems as well as some optional cosmetic repairs. Quite frankly I was shocked at what my previous dentists had never discussed (old metal fillings that were causing teeth to crack, large fillings that really meant that there was very little tooth left in one place, metal fillings that had the danger of beginning to "leak", etc.). Since we were going from the photos, I could plainly see the issues - this was professionalism at its highest, no pressure, only honest advice allowing me to make the choices of how to proceed. If anybody is looking for an incredible dentist in an incredible practice, I can't recommend Dr. Rutwind and the Peak Dental Arts team any higher.
