Completed the 6 week. Holy cow was it fun and hard. Sara was amazing coach and glad she helped me out. She is so sweet and a crazy badass kickboxer. Had a couple mental issues with the food but got there. And every time I freaked out, Sara was so sweet that she helped me get back on track. Takes a lot of commitment. The kickboxing was fun and made you excited for the next class. The food was my toughest challenge. I'm not sure how I did it, but I succeeded My body is almost where I want it, so with all the new things I learned I'm very confident I'm gonna get there. Kickboxing is such a cool skill to lean. I feel mentally and physically stronger. I also learn self discipline and new healthy habits. My new goal is now is keep this going. I highly recommend this place. Yes, this messed with my mental state a couple of times but now happier in general. I feel much more confident and excited to workout. I feel so much better about my body. Plus, my posture is better and I'm walking tall. So if you are someone who wants to get back into working out and but don't know how to get there. This place is perfect to help you there. Should have read the reviews about the PUSHY sales. Bought a Groupon for 10 Classes, first I tried calling multiple times to see if I needed to sign up for a class but no one answered so I just drove over before a class started only to be told I had to schedule a one on one first and was turned away. Which ok fine....BUT then after you finish your one on one is when the EXTREME sales pitch starts, I specifically told them I wanted to try the 10 classes because there was only 1 class time I could make and wanted to see if it was possible for me to get up that early multiple times a week. Instead I was pushed and pushed into a membership....and of course only ever made it to like 3 classes. And I might add that those situations make me very uncomfortable and give me terrible anxiety so I just always give in. I instantly regretted signing up for any kind of membership before even getting to try out a real class. FAST FORWARD.... I asked to cancel because I just couldn't make it or afford it they make it EXTREMELY difficult to cancel. I had wrote them saying I could not afford it and they come back with ok pay $50 dollars more than you can already not afford and by the way we need 30 days notice so we are going to charge your account again for the $150 membership you don't ever use! All in all there are much CHEAPER gyms out there with TONS of classes and ZERO pushy sale pitches! Save your money and don't get tricked with the "good deal" they try to offer you! read more

I started the 6 weeks challenge with all the motivation in the world. I paid my $600 hoping that I would be able to meet the goal set and get my money back(that's the challenge). I was PROMISED that if I followed their plan...I would reach my goal. Once the challenge started after about a week in I reached out because I still didn't know who my coach was and I was having questions and concerns about the meal plan. It was so much food...and I really was struggling to understand how eating this much was going to help me succeed. It could never get in touch with anyone on the phone...so I went to the studio and was basically told to trust the process and stick to the plan. 3 weeks in I had only lost 7lbs and was not on track to making the goal. When I talked with my "coach" there were no suggestions on how to improve or get better results...just stick to the plan. Well...what do you know...I finished the program...did everything I was supposed to do EXACTLY and didn't meet my goal. The program never had an orientation. No one explained how to use any of the documents that were on the share drive. No suggestions on how to mix the foods for the best outcome. No real follow up or help from anyone. There were some generic texts and things that came out....but nothing that really was focused on my progress. No sense of team building...I had no idea who else other than the person that started with me was in the program. Honestly never felt like anyone really even cared. One positive side....I actually loved the workouts...they are really awesome. But did I feel like anyone cared if I was there or not....no. Did I feel like anyone cared about the journey that I was on...no. Did I feel like they cared about anything other than the $600...not at all. I'm glad I finished the program...and I did it for myself. I did like the workouts....I just wish that I felt some what of a community or that anyone even cared if I was there or not. Maybe even showed that they noticed that I was there and trying hard with a busted knee...but nothing. I think I am more disappointed that I really wanted to be a part of something that would be a healthy group to be a part of...and be more motivated and get some more advice and tips on how to better myself...but at the end of it all...I just felt like I was just a number that gave them some money. I tried to set up my last consultation and there were no appointments available online...I tried to call and got no answer....so I guess there was really nothing else they needed to say to me. read more

This place and the coaches have changed my life. After a surgery, my muscles atrophied, which caused excruciating back pain. Before I started working out here, I was on two different pain killers/muscle relaxants and had actually fainted because I was in so much pain. The coaches were so helpful and understanding when I first started and so encouraging throughout my time here. I am now pain free, off medications, and feel so much stronger and more confident. Back in December I saw an ad about trying this place out and honestly was going to cancel the initial meeting, until I realized that it was the gym a friend of mine went to. So I figured why not at least try? I can't tell you how glad I am that I went. I have tried so many different exercise/diet "programs" and end up burned out and/or hurt with no noticable changes. The core components of the workouts here have helped me with my back pain and for the first time I can workout consistently without back and joint pain that running, cycling and even working with a trainer lifting weights has caused. Additionally, the workouts themselves have made a HUGE difference is my stress and anxiety. I'm a very shy person by nature, especially in groups, but even with that I've made friends and feel like I've found a place I could see myself sticking with long-term. This is an amazing community and I'm excited they are a part of my journey. I always look forward to class, even when I have to drag myself out of bed in the morning to get there. read more

I am a new member and my experience here has been nothing short of great. I received a lot of personal attention including someone working with my daughter and I for an hour on our first session. Its a great workout and lots of fun. Not intimidating at all as the staff makes everyone feel welcome and the environment is so positive. I am appalled by this establishment. I have been with ILKB in NYC for years and now was excited to come back here and workout. I drove 25 minutes away and got lost and arrived 5 min late and she refused me to work out. I am literally SHOCKED. Extremely poor customer relations. I have never ever been turned away from a workout and tried explaining to the woman I was circling the area and got a bit lost, and she did not care. That was extremely pathetic. Perhaps they need to re-evaluate their staff as this would never happen in New York. read more

I've been kickboxing at ILKB Northglenn for about 3 months now and I have never stuck with a workout or gym for as long as I have with kickboxing. I've never felt so much support and comradery not just from the staff, but from fellow kickboxers as well. The studio feels more like a family than a gym. I hesitated joining but I am so glad I did. I started with the 6 week transformation program and it really put my butt back into gear. I hadn't worked out in 4 years and after having 2 kids I gained a ton of wait and quarantine weight did not help. But since joining I have gained more confidence, gotten more motivation, and I have gained some great new friends! Everyone not just the coaches are always motivating you and pushing you to go harder and further. I have seen a big transformation in my day to day life and finally made time for myself. I use to feel guilty for that but now I know it is a good thing and joining has helped me realize that. If you are hesitant in joining just do it! You won't regret it! One of the best decisions I have ever done. If you wanna gain some structure and figure out what's going to be the best thing to meal prep or find ways to get you on track the coaches have great tips and tricks to help you get started and keep you going! I have also lost weight and gained some of my muscle back! I can finally do a push-up I can hold a plank I am getting more flexible each class. As a fitness professional and motivator, I'm always in search of new and fun ways to stay healthy and fit that are also challenging, in hopes to share with others. During one of my brief visits to Denver, I decided to stop into ILKB Northglenn to see what the franchise was about. I have utilized boxing and kickboxing to crosstrain before, and didn't know how I'd like this concept. I absolutely loved the class! Newbies are assigned a coach to make them feel comfortable and get up to speed on technique and comfort. My Coach Jenna was amazing. A mother of 5 children, she's a great teacher, taking the time to work through my rusty technique and keep me motivated. It's a great class for beginners as well as those who are experienced and everyone is pushed to and beyond their limits. Speaking with others in the class, being a part of a welcoming and supportive community only enhances their experiences and keeps them accountable along their fitness journey. If you're looking for something to truly challenge your body and your spirit, I highly suggest giving ILKB in Northglenn a try. The first half of the class is just jumping and running and burpees , so if you want to gain some kickboxing skill this is not the place to go. Besides , They are EXTREMELY PUSHY, and will NOT let you leave without signing up. they give you five passes for FREE ( yeah I believe that), but before you get a chance to try it out to see if this sport is for you or not they pin you down and will not let you leave unless you purchase at least $350. I signed up for kickboxing classes about a month ago and have had several complications even getting into my first class. I would now like my money refunded. I was told upon signing up that I would be contacted by the location for my first class and after a week had never received a call. I then began to call the studio and after about a half dozen tries, was not able to connect. I then contacted my local studio via facebook and was told someone would call me that night. Someone called me the next morning and set up my first lesson. I was told to arrive 15 minutes early (8:45) in 3 weeks time. I arrived on the date that was scheduled at the time that was requested. My first time through the door, my first greeting was "you were supposed to be here at 8:30". I was then rescheduled for another 3 weeks out. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service with your organization and have no desire to continue with these failed attempts. read more
