He is always smiling and he exudes a peacefulness, that makes me feel like I've known him for a long time, comfortable. I no longer use the cane, and had no surgery. I am an older female, but he works with all ages, including children. If you are having orthopedic issues, stop by the office to see Dr. Earl Frantz. l have an appointment to see him in a month for an Orthopedic procedure. I am looking forward to my visit.

We arrived 20 minutes early for the appointment and were put in a room to wait, we waited over an hour and a half so I went to the nurses station to find out what was going on and they said they had call outs THIS MORNING mind you again my daughter called at 1230 they could have simply said we are to far behind today can we get you in tomorrow but they didn't the nurses proceed to tell me well other patients have been waiting well over their appointment times as well I said this is crazy she just needs to have her ears checked for an ear infection nothing crazy and their excuse was we didn't know there's nothing we can do I said this is unacceptable I turned around to walk back to my daughters room and one of the nurses or MA's not sure which one says as I round the corner bye bitch! I turned around looked at both the girls and said that was so disrespectful and rude I went back to my daughters room and a wonderful lady came in and apologized and made sure me and my daughter were ok I explained to her what happened and she said she was going to have a talk with all of the nursing staff, but that's not all the had us see a provider today that isn't even allowed to fill Medicaid medication so now my daughter with a horrible ear infection has to wait and call tomorrow to see if someone else can send these prescriptions over again by a provider that is allowed to prescribe her the medication because insurance says they can not fill medication from this provider sounds a little fishy to me I do believe I will be changing dr for both of my children because today was a last straw saying bye bitch for being rightly upset about the wait times with no one checking on us to even let us know they are running behind

Many do not take my Medicare Advantage insurance outside of my town, which really hurts, and the others are too far. I'm not driving right now, and having to find providers out of town is heart wrenching, and I don't think Wilmington Health is trying hard to get them there. Dermatologist Whatever is on my ankles is spreading and going up my legs. Then a lot of offices don't answer their phones, or they ask you to leave a message and they'll call back. Being old school, I'm for talking to people. Please get more Dermatologists here, or at least post why not!

I have struggled for years with chronic back and hip pain. After having a particularly painful few…read moremonths of walking and getting around, a friend recommended I see Leanne for an evaluation. I have had 5 sessions since the initial evaluation and this is the best I've felt in ages! At Axis my rehab consists of Leanne working her magic with manual therapy on my hips and back which is followed by a guided rehab protocol in their gym, (in addition to some of my own rehab at home). After being pretty hopeless about being able to walk pain-free ever again, I am now hiking and walking with my family and feel like I have a new lease on life.

She would have her assistant watch me do the activities she suggested. close to the last time I went, she had me doing a routine that was detrimental to my body, going sideways and stopping quickly. The first time I did it, when I stopped a pain went through my hip and dropped me to the floor. The assistant helped me up and got me on a table. The therapist wrapped tape around my leg to treat the pain. I went back for another session, when I walked out I never went back. I have later learned what she had me doing has caused non repairable damage. I now get shots in my hip to stop the pain. I don't sue people but in this case I wish I had. This girl was very arrogant and over confident of her abilities, she never supervised the patient leaving that up to her assistant who was never trained. I don't remember her name, so I can't pin point her exactly, so I suggest avoiding the business altogether as well as any other physical therapy business that tells you what to do and then leaves you to do the exercises while she goes to talk to her friends or whatever else. One on one continuous monitoring, is the way it should be.

She knows what to do like the back of her hand, it's always a pleasure to see her and watch her work. Waiting time is reasonable. Finally! An orthopedic facility that appoints a doctor before a PA. I saw Dr. Guirgues (back surgeon) regarding disgenerative disease of the spine. He was familiar with my record of previous treatment in California before the visit and came up with 3 non-surgical options. A week later I saw Laurel, his PA. Impressive! Laurel is responsible for the cervical section of my spine. She reviewed MRI results on a diagram in the office and referred me to another doctor for ablation. Dr. Guirgues performed spine injections in a surgical setting. For me, it was worth the hour drive to Morehead City. I have HIGH anxiety and cannot deal with any more pain. NOTE: Ask for a doctor that uses a facility to give injections. It's the doctor's option. I was offered the option to be stretched out over a table and not be sedated, if I wanted to see another doctor at that location. [Hmmm...barbaric period.] This location offers all services to the complete spine and physical therapy (Country Club Road location).

After returning twice he gave me oxicodone each time. My thumb was still swollen and unusable. I ended up going to New Hanover/ Norvant hospital in Wilmington NC . Dr . Neil McIntyre stopped the infection. Half of my thumb was amputated. Dr. McIntyre said my thumb could have been saved if Dr. Ramsey would have treated me with more antibiotics instead of just giving me oxicodone each time I returned to him.

I broke me hip and pelvis on Aug. 13 and spent a week at OMH after which I came here. The team worked with me daily to strengthen my bones and muscles. And now, in 2 more days, i will be going home.
