Peak to Peak sucks. I had contracted for a delivery of the minimum of 200 gallons and, with their staff continually trying to force me to buy more which I repeatedly told them I couldn't afford, they took it upon themselves to disregard my request and attempt to fill my 1000 gallon tank. Did I say I couldn't afford that? Not because I am cheap, but because I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY!!! I called them and they tried to make it sound like they were doing me a huge favor and decided that this one time they would give me the 200 gallons, but I would be on a fill schedule and they would top off the tank. DID I NOT JUST SAY I COULDN'T AFFORD THAT? I find that these people bait and switch a lot and disregard what their customers request and require potentially putting their customers in dire financial straits.. They are not to be trusted and will attempt to extort money from you. So I HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere. read more

Dear Paul: I had a chance to think about our conversation, and I have to say you are quite correct in your assessment. As a customer of perhaps 11 years, more or less, give or take, who has always paid you in full and on time, it has been an absolute honor to allow you to serve me. As of late, it is even more of a privilege and pleasure to allow you to charge me a higher rate than your other customers especially after I have lost my job 2 years ago and unable to secure another adequate paying job in the time that followed. It has been even more of a comfort to know that you have gone way out of your way to "break the rules to take care of me." Shame on me for complaining that I am charged a higher rate and may God strike me dead for not offering to pay you even more than your highest rate. May I applaud you for the outstanding job you have done in making sure I have been given the best of both product and service. I am especially fond of the time I paid $1100 for 600 or so gallons of propane in a summer fill. Your service department hooked the two tanks together and whilst doing so, a slight blunder in a poor connection left me with no heat or hot water that very evening on a quite chilly night assuring me the greatest pleasure in having to call your service department and rendezvous with them at at 1 a.m to correct this slight technicality. With that being said, at the least, and I am so humbly grateful that they did drive all the way up the high mountain top to provide propane, something which I had paid for prior and paid in full. I must have lost my head in a moment of irrationality thinking that because people are human and have hardships that anyone should give a flying leap. Whatever could have gotten into me to have such thoughts. Thank you for your generosity and I so humbly accept your lashing out at me. After all, I am only a customer, and certainly do not deserve any respect. I truly appreciate the "special treatment" you so gallantly have ultimately provided to me allowing me to have propane that I paid for in my tank. I especially loved your remark that I called corporate a while back to put in a complaint and how dare I do so, especially after you and your illustrious personnel flatly refused to deliver propane to me. I apologize for having a deadly disease that surely I could and should have prevented from interfering with my ability to earn the amount of money which measures up to your standards. I apologize for not using up my propane according to your time schedule as I am certain all your other customers must do. I again thank you for the opportunity to allow you to be condescending, thoughtless, patronizing and to provide propane to me all these years--especially I am in awe of your staff's ability to go out of their way in these difficult times. I don't know if I can find the words to adequately thank you for all your words of insult. Agfinity, Inc. must be so very proud of your dedication. I apologize in advance that I own my own tank and purchased it when I built the house 13 years ago. I probably should have checked with you prior to making the tank purchase, but if you could please accept my sincerest apologies for not knowing you then. I don't know how I have gotten along all these years without you. How fortunate for me that you came into my life when you did to verbally abuse me, disrespect me and insult me. Shame on me for growing up thinking that the customer is always right. Who needs customers any way as they are such an inconvenience, aren't they? In conclusion, please make an appointment via email to remove the Peak to Peak tank from my property and be certain to leave my personal tank that I bought without your permission where it currently is. Somehow, I will just have to manage without you in my life. But feel blessed to know you now will have more time to spend with your other 3999 "valuable" customers and this invaluable one is out of your hair. I've just gotten off the phone with "the big boss" and I'm actually shaking at how rude he was to me. Several months ago I set up an appointment to have a fill on my tank. I called several days ahead of time and asked them to reschedule because I was not able to make the appointment. I never heard back, and then was out of town for a month and a half. Once I was back in town, I spent three weeks attempting to get someone to call me back. Spent more than an hour, cumulatively, speaking with people, calling different numbers, leaving voicemails, sending emails... Never once did I receive promised returned calls. I finally received a return call today for the first time after three weeks. I was told that my propane tank had actually been inspected the day that I originally set up my (attempted cancelled) appointment. All of these months, while trying to get in touch with them for information... All of the time I spent on the phone with various people trying to get information about my next stop... They failed to relay the information that they were not able to fill my tank at all. This was when I called Paul. The boss. I left a descriptive voicemail actually excusing them and recognizing that I understand that sometimes things fall through the cracks, but would they please do me a favor and write their wrong by putting just enough propane in my tank to keep it from running out. I expected a reasonable response. Instead, he called me back promptly and proceeded to Yellit me and tell me how he ran a large business and new what he was doing and was going to stand by his employee, Chris in Service, who had told him a completely different story than the one that he had told me an hour earlier. As long as things are going well with this company, great. Make your own decisions. But I promise you, that if anything goes poorly, they will not only refuse to correct the problem, but also be incredibly rude to you in the process.
