I am sad that it took me this long to find a quality, delicious croissant in Southern Maine. This is not your average bakery. This is the kind of spot where you take one bite and immediately go quiet because your brain is trying to process how something can taste that good. Each piece is a little work of art! They had these tiny chocolate creme tarts/pie with mango coulis and wow. An absolute dream. Everything we tried was next-level--light, flavorful, not overly sweet, and clearly made with serious skill. The pastries have that authentic European feel where quality and technique come first, not just sugar overload.
