Yummy doughnuts with a great variety. Good New England brand coffee, iced for a hot summer day. Very kind staff. True small gem by the lake

When we found this, we found a cute little stand that sold bags of apples and pumpkins and and some neat little decorative fall items and then they directed us to the orchards. We then went to the orchards and found a few things that we LOVED about this place. It was cozy, and not as busy and the trees were STOCKED full of delicious apples (honeycrisp for us) and a small little toy train taking people on rides around and just had a small orchard and cozy town feel. We loved it here and the people that worked here where the guy at the front desk of the shack said "Ok, I have two rules .... you over fill this bag with as many apples as you can fit into it and two, eat as many as you can while you are picking" This is different from the other orchard where they weigh your bag and then charge you accordingly where here it is a flat rate for the size of the bag. We loved it and will be back again apple picking season next year.

Fantastic pick your own orchard! They had a great variety to pick for a reasonable price. The…read moresetting is also absolutely stunning. Beautiful orchard atop a huge hill that you can see for miles. We even found a plaque commemorating a 1932 naval expedition to see a solar eclipse! So yes, absolutely stunning views of the countryside in fall. The trees were so full of apples I couldn't believe it! They have a cute little train (tractor and mini wagons) for the kids or young at heart. They also have an apple sling shot, which I'm shocked I've. Ever seen this before because it was very fun. The pick your own is a bit over the hill from their farm stand which can be confusing, but the farm stand is worth stopping at for the donuts and cider. They make the cider and it's one of the better ciders I've had in a long time. Also, it's dog friendly, which weirdly many places are not.

Service is always with a smile and everything I've ever had was exceptional. The pistachio haddock for dinner and their lunchtime reuben was hands down the best I've ever had.

I was trying to order and some bartender on the other side practically ripped the menu away saying we're on a "nosh" menu, okkk?! How am I suppose to know that??? The other bartender gave me the lunch menu. I asked her to get me the "nosh" menu she literally turned her back & ran off. No words, no comments, no confirmation.... Just a nasty dismissive attitude. She never came back & ignored us. Definitely NO customer service. Our other bartender made excuses for her then proceeded to bring up his wife & kids - NOBODY IS HITTING ON YOU, my friend & I are actually just friendly and wanted a decent lunch. I ordered chicken nibblets with Jamaican jerk sauce - ZERO spice, ZERO kick, why are you calling it that when there are ZERO Scott bonnets in it?!?! Just odd & totally misleading. Needless to say, we were cordial but couldn't leave fast enough. Skip this place unless you wanna get treated like you don't matter but they'll take your money & rush you out.
