When we found this, we found a cute little stand that sold bags of apples and pumpkins and and some neat little decorative fall items and then they directed us to the orchards. We then went to the orchards and found a few things that we LOVED about this place. It was cozy, and not as busy and the trees were STOCKED full of delicious apples (honeycrisp for us) and a small little toy train taking people on rides around and just had a small orchard and cozy town feel. We loved it here and the people that worked here where the guy at the front desk of the shack said "Ok, I have two rules .... you over fill this bag with as many apples as you can fit into it and two, eat as many as you can while you are picking" This is different from the other orchard where they weigh your bag and then charge you accordingly where here it is a flat rate for the size of the bag. The pick your own is a bit over the hill from their farm stand which can be confusing, but the farm stand is worth stopping at for the donuts and cider. We had no problem filling cartons to the brim. They charge by the pound though so be aware that you can fill the cartons as high or low as you wish.
