A new stop for us while we were in the area. A fast food restaurant that cooks every order fresh and fast. It seems that a main part of business is take away but they do have a few seats inside. It isn't air conditioned but they do have a fan running. I ordered the General Tso chicken and substituted my egg roll for chicken fingers and they had no problem doing so. I also like extra onions in my rice and again, no problems adding them in. I heard great reviews about their lo mein and so I ordered the vegetable lo mein. I enjoyed the almost smoky flavor that I think is from the Wok? I don't like liquid smoke so u think it wasn't that that they used. Disappointed. In an entire quart of pepper steak, there were only a handful of SMALL pieces of meat. The rest of the container was onion and a little green pepper. The sauce was super watery. The portions are larger than expected and the food is fresh, cooked to order. While eating in the restaurant we saw many people come in for pickup orders. A very good sign!!! First of all I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. We ordered supper last night and it was delicious, but I was charged for an extra dinner ($9.75) I called her (the wife) back next day when I realized the overcharge and she argued said she wouldn't even listen to me then she hung up. I happened to be in that area and Pearl House popped up on a Yelp search so I made a quick stop to fuel up. This is a Chinese American restaurant located in a strip mall; it is a take-out restaurant with limited inside seating. I ordered Szechaun Chicken extra spicy which came with Pork Fried Rice and an Egg-Roll. Either I have a very high tolerance for hot & spicy or the Pearl House has a very low tolerance for puttin the heat to the meat as I could scarcely detect its presence. The flavor of the dish on the other hand was very good; more than satisfying. The pork fried rice was cooked nicely having above average flavor and a smoky note imparted by the hot wok. The egg-roll was a mystery to me while it was crispy it had a strange taste; I only ate half so as not to chance a mishap but I was fine for the rest of the day. I would go back there again if only to solve the egg-roll mystery as I found the taste and flavors of the food very good. read more

Food is always really fresh, I always get boneless pork, egg rolls, crab rangoons and this is my favorite place for generals tso chk...and I make it a point to try generals chk everywhere...closest was hong kong garden in agawam. The other thing I rate a chinese place is by their pork fried rice and pearl house's is excellent. Prices overall are very reasonable also. The general tso combo with a side of rangoons or boneless pork is a great value as my fiancée and I can fill ourselves splitting it and I still have leftovers for lunch the next day read more

Best Chinese in Indian orchard hands down. I love their lunch specials but they're only Tuesday and Saturday 11 to 3 you get a large portion for under $6. Olly get 4 stars because the service sometimes can be rude and she's can miserable if you were short one penny they will wait until you get you're one penny out of your pocket. Really good lo mein! I like that they don't put too many vegetables in it. I liked the portion size and they didn't skimp on chicken. My only thing is that I would put a bit more sauce on the chicken. The egg rolls tasted good but were just a little bit on the dry side. They are located in a plaza so parking is never an issue. They are efficient and friendly. Give them a call and your food is ready soon - no hassle. The food itself is good. My family used to love this place. We just ordered tonight and there was no soy sauces pr duck sauces in our bag. The lady called me a liar that we recieved it when we didnt. We gave the driver a $5 tip living only 2 min away so i asked if they could please bring us some . She told me i had to go get it and i told her i had a baby which is why i had to have it delivered. She was extreamly rude and yelled at me saying if i wanted sauce i had to ask for it (even though thats never been an issue in all the time ive ever ordered chinese) she then hung up on me. she was the manager and i cant even believe she thinks the way she talks to her customers is okay. Read reviews and was working in area, so I figured I would pop in and check it out. The place was like your typical Chinese take-out restaurant. It was clean and neat. I decided to order a Shrimp fried-rice with fried chicken combination plate. The Fried-rice was just ok, it wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either. The fried chicken wings are fried naked (no batter). I personally prefer batter on mine so at least it could have some seasoning. The chicken was very very very bland tasting and he wings were overly large, which I don't care for either. Chicken kind of had a rubbery texture to it. I ate 2 of them and threw the rest away.
