If I could get this place zero stars I would. Terrible service and not respectful to the special-needs community! I was able to get out of the house because I had a babysitter last minute so I came by to see if they had availability for a manicure and pedicure. There was a woman with a long ponytail that told me to come back in 30 minutes and they could do it. So I went and ran an errand and then came back. After waiting about 10 minutes in the front of the store, they called me to sit in the chair for my pedicure. There, I waited for about 40 minutes before anyone came and started. My water had gotten cold by then I wanted to leave, but I also really needed to get my toes done because I know I wouldn't have another chance anytime soon. meanwhile, a woman with down syndrome was sat next to me. She was waiting patiently and he actually told me that her appointment was at 2:15 and it was now 330. The guy comes over and finally starts my toes and about 15 minutes later, a woman comes over and starts on the woman next to me. The woman next to me had been looking in the nail book at designs and colors. She had brought the books 2 her chair to help her communicate what she needed to the workers. They removed the box and took them away. Then the worker asked the woman if she wanted acrylic nails, or her real nails. The one with down syndrome was very shy and I don't think she understood what they were asking so I asked her if I could help. I was able to support her communication to the workers. However, the man that was working on my toes was mocking her in their language. I don't know if they think I was born yesterday or if this woman With down syndrome lacked the abilities to see that they were making fun of her, but it was a disgusting display of ignorance. They were laughing. He was making gestures. I was disgusted. Fast-forward to me finally finishing my pedicure. I was supposed to get a manicure and then they told me they didn't have time. The woman who originally told me to come back, told her daughter in the front working the register that she overbooked everybody for the day and blamed her. My eyes and ears to see me? Was the older woman not the one who told me to come back herself today? This place is a joke. It's overpriced for the quality of service that I received. I will make sure to spread the word that this place is filled with ignorance. This environment is not friendly, welcoming, understanding, or professional. Stay far away. read more

updated review 1 day later and my nails were chipped it was $120 for pedi and my fingers just painted no fake nails seemed a bit expensive and definitely wouldn't go back. although the staff was nice and the place was as well the quality and price aren't worth it read more

My wife and daughter visited here on a recommendation from my daughter's friend. They didn't have an appointment and next time will make sure to do that since we are not from the area. Even after their appointment was made and we returned they still waited. Even though it started out bumpy they really enjoyed themselves, my wife had a pedicure and my daughter had a manicure and they did a really nice job! You are given a menu when you are seated to see all they have to offer and with some of the services you are offered a drink, hence the word bar in the business name. read more

Went for a gel manicure and my nails look terrible- polish on the sides and pooled around my cuticle. My thumb nail is polished uneven and streaky. Something got on the nail while he was polishing. I told him and he said it was because I hit the top of the heater. Not at all. He made no attempt to fix it. And it cost $45!!! Do not go there for a manicure. read more

Recently Moved to Orchard Park from the Rochester Area. Needed a pedicure but my only day off is a Sunday. Found pearl on Google, called them and they said i could just walk in without an appt. Located on Main in beautiful East Aurora. Salon was located in a small strip plaza on the end. The nail salon itself was gorgeous. Great big chandeliers on the ceilings. anyways, I opted for the normal pedicure... nothing fancy. Trim my toes nail and a great foot and lower leg massage. looked and felt like a million bucks walking out. I had a great experience at Pearl Nails! They were open on a Sunday, AND, until 4 o'clock - which is hard to find. I even asked if I could add on a pedicure and they had no problem accommodating me even though I would be there past 4. Not great to say the least. I got a pedicure and I ended up with lady who said she was new. I didn't mind until she started to aggressively file underneath my toe nail, and even after commenting that it hurt, she kept doing it. She also was filing the skin of my other toes while trying to file nails and was jabbing me with a lot of the tools. Needless to say I was not happy with the service, nor the extra $20 for gel that is not advertised. AND, about a week later both of my big toe nails are turning green from the lack of cleaning the tub or the tools. How gross and what a waste of money! read more

Went in for a pedicure. Tracy was assigned to do it. she gave me a hard time about wanting just the basic pedicure and said she won't file my calluses unless I get the organic pedicure. I told her that was fine because I don't have any. My feet were in water no more than 2 minutes total. I came away with a uneven polish job, polish on my toes and cuticles and uneven nails. I asked why she didn't soak my feet and she said oh you have to ask to have your feet soaked. (!?) I told her that wasn't correct and she just ignored me. This morning I see my polish is chipped already. I refuse to pay $20 fee for gel polish and then another $20 for them to remove it. This salon is super clean and beautiful! It would make a great stop for a bridal party. They have 10 pedi stations and 8 mani. The prices are reasonable, I paid $45 for an organic pedi while my friends did the regular for $35. The massage chairs were great and so was the service. Everyone was friendly and they have a great selection of polish. They also have a tonnn of nail art to choose from which I can't wait to try at Xmas! It's in a plaza so parking is easy. All i have to say is NEVER GO TO Pearl Nails & Bar in East Aurora unless you like getting ripped off! They charged me $45 for an acrilic fill, 15 for the different colored tips & another $10 for the 4 tiny hearts that took them 1 minute to paint. Total- 72- and then i felt pressures to leave a tip so i left $10 even though that's still under tipping. So $80 for this!!! I called them today and described my nails and asked how much it would cost and they gave me a price $30 less mysteriously!!!! But when i showed up to dispute my receipt they held firm to their pricing. Trust me when i say this is by far the most ive payed read more

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this nail salon. When I arrived no one greeted me and I stood around the crowded entryway since there was no where to sit. When finally someone came over to me they did not really talk to me at all and just sort of pointed at an empty spa chair. The music playing was super loud and totally inappropriate for a relaxing pedicure. I was very uncomfortable. When my pedicure was over, the technician didn't say anything to me and just expected me to get up and leave. Overall a terrible experience. read more

I had been going to Jenny for several months. I normally would call ahead for an appointment to make sure I could get in as I have a farther drive. One of my last sessions she told me to come right in, and I made the special 1/2 hour drive there just for my nails. I get there and was told she left with no explanation and no one else would do my nails saying I was Jenny's client. I left and started going to another salon where the service was friendlier AND my nails were staying on longer. However it was an even farther drive for me. So, I went back to Pearl Nails, giving them another shot. FYI: I get powder dip, many times with a tip. This is a $70 service! They claim that they have a three day guarantee of there services. The very next day, one broke. I went in and she repaired. The NEXT day, ANOTHER nail broke. I was in town and stopped, she told me she was too busy, to come back the following day. I did have another appointment so told her what time to expect me. I stopped the next day at the proposed time, and the guy told me Jenny went out of the country for vacation! He was obviously lying!! I'm fairly certain she went hiding in the back room, to not fulfill her obligation to the "guarantee". I walked out, and will never return. Also, a THIRD nail has broke since I left. All this within 5 days of a $70 service (and I always tip nicely) that should last minimum of two weeks. A broke nail is one thing, but to have a false policy, be lied to and disregarded and disrespected is more than unprofessional. I DO NOT ever write reviews, but I can not let people be unaware of this treatment. read more

i went to pearl nails today, i made an appointment and they did my nails and didn't talk to me the entire time, only time they talked to me was when they asked how long i wanted them or what color, when we were done i went up to pay and i had a gift card and they said i had nothing on the gift card when there was clearly $50 on it. even said it on the computer, they were trying to take advantage of me and then when my dad came in they finally said that it was 50 on it and then i had to pay 5 dollars more because it was 55. so i got money out and when i asked for my change for a 20, the girl gave me a 5 back and tried to take my other 10.
