Came here yesterday with a friend. Never had been before. We started with the signature pedicure which included the pariffin wax which I love. The place was pretty busy at first. the pedicure was heaven. Then they asked if I wanted my nails done and I said yes. the nail tech was friendly and funny. Overall I liked the atmosphere. This is my first time trying to get my nails done in Jax Beach and she did an okay job. It was very rushed and they are lumpy and bumpy. She only painted half my nail on a couple fingers and when I tried to say something she said "that's your skin" but it's very clearly my nail. She offered to add another layer and i said no because i don't want it to be super thick and at that point I was just over it. Maybe I'm just too picky but I felt a little ripped off and probably wouldn't recommend this place to others. Update: I mustered up the courage and went back in and another lady completely redid my nails and did a much better job the second time. They're still not perfect but definitely much better! read more

This family owned nail salon is amazing! The owners Emily and Tommy are always welcoming. It is extremely clean and all the staff is friendly. It's a very relaxing and good natured environment. You can tell they all like one another and have worked together for a long time. Vi is the best in my opinion but I've never had a bad appt with any of he staff. They have nice massage chairs and lots of colors to choose from. They offer SNS and gel. They also have a new pedicure called volcanic that is awesome and leaves your feet incredibly smooth. Bonus too is that they will give you wine while you get your pedicure or you can order beer or margaritas from the Mexican restaurant next door and they will deliver them to you in your chair. Tommy and his staff are wonderful! He has been doing nails in the JAX Beach area for over 25 years. All are so welcoming and friendly. The shop is nothing fancy, but they do have pedi chairs, and they do dipping powder nails as well as acrylic etc. They are real pros when it comes to doing nails and are meticulous. Great salon! Very professional and clean. My fiancé bought me a few gift cards to this place and I love coming here. I get the signature mani (gel) and pedi. They are very thorough and each time I have had something done, I am always very pleased with the results. They have a good selection of colors and the products they use are good quality. Also, the gel manicures that I get here last super long - over 3 weeks and absolutely no chipping or peeling! The massages and paraffin wax treatment are amazing (and everything they use smells really nice too). The appointment is a little longer than other salons that I've been to, but it is because they are so thorough. Although I don't have any more gift cards to use, this will definitely be my go-to salon. If you decide to try it out - I recommend making an appointment ahead of time because they are often busy (which also says a lot about their service)! read more

Quite possibly the best nail salon I've been to in a long time. The staff was friendly and organized. The entire place was clean and comfortable. I am very frustrated with my experience today. I called 2 days ago to schedule two pedi appointments at 3pm on today (Friday). My mother and I arrived on time, and all technicians were busy. We waited about 15min, we were seated in our chairs and my mother finally had someone come over to help her. It is now 3:40 and I am just sitting here waiting for my mother to be done. I will not be getting my nails done today because my appointment time was not honored and I have another appointment to get to later. Very upset by this. What is the point of making an appointment just to be ignored for 40 minutes? I will be seriously reconsidering my patronage of this business. read more

She had great attention to detail and was very upfront with me about the shape and length my nails should be for the ombré to show. I was blown away with what she did to my nails. I'm always very cautious when having my nails done, because my nails are very thin and I've had a lot of bad experiences. Pearl nails is amazing! Emily is always incredibly gentle and very accommodating. The last time I was in there she spent over an hour just soaking my acrylics off so I could try SNS Nails. (Which, I highly recommend. It's been almost a week and they still look amazing.) The salon is very clean. They have a wide variety of colors and brands to choose from. They recently updated all their tables and the hand-washing area. Its such a nice salon. I highly recommend them. EVERY TIME I get a pedicure they're very gentle and always ask before they use certain tools (looking at you cheese grater). Most salons don't even bother asking once. Honestly this place is great, don't let the outside fool you. read more
