I normally love this place, but today was not good. My first two visits were wonderful! My third visit, I left with two toes' skin beneath the nail cut (with blood!). Maybe I should have taken that as a sign to not go back. But the first two visits were so great, I figured it was a fluke. Until today... my nail tech started with not opening a fresh, sanitized set of tools! She just pulled some stuff out of a plastic container in her drawer with a name of "Snow" on it!!!!! I have gotten my nails done here a few time and most of my experiences were great. But this last time the guy who did my pedicure messed up the polish and instead of redoing it he just tried to paint over it. It looked ok when I left but a few days later you could see how uneven the polish was. read more

This was possibly the best nail experience I've gotten in the six years I've been getting acrylics. I forgot to ask for the nail tech's name but she wore a blue mask and wore a red shirt. They recently remodeled so everything looks new and super clean! And a first has happened--I got a regular manicure, and usually from other places my manicure is chipped the next day. I chose the $65 "royal" pedicure, I began with one girl and ended with another. The woman did not "massage" me as described in the "royal" package, she basically gently pet my leg back and forth forever, no pressure whatsoever. She could clearly tell I was annoyed but continued on the same way. She decided to clip my toes a second time after curing the gel, and cut my toe and made it bleed. Then when it was over I noticed the gel was cracked from her doing that, she wasn't going to say anything so I did and she somewhat fixed it. I watched the person next to me who got the SAME THING as me actually get the massage that's described in the package. I'm annoyed I wasted over $100 (my daughter got hers done) and $65 of that being the package, $15 for my bloody toe with gel, and they didn't even offer a percentage off after mistake after mistake. Will NEVERRRRR go back. Not fair to the women who don't always have the funds to treat themselves and get such terrible quality that just turns into guilt of spending money on themselves. Well I'm really watching this place go down. It was my favorite go to for the longest. Last 2 visits- took off gel polish with a drimmel instead of acetone first. Dug little burrows into my nails. I have been coming here for many years and my nails always look great. I don't do gel just regular but somehow my manicure lasts for up to a week. They are busy so I try to make an appointment even if it's just calling 15 minutes ahead but I usually don't wait for than 5 minutes, if at all, when I just walk in because they have a large staff. When they are very busy they will politely ask if you can come back at a specific time later (but can wait if you want). Clean, friendly, quality service, plenty of complimentary drink options. They play nice music instead of tv shows. Massage chairs are all fairly new due to a recent remodel. Highly recommended. read more

I went to get a pedicure with my bestie, we were seated with no wait. Right off the bat the nail artist tried to upsell us on the Pedicure to the volcano, which is fine, but we weren't interested. Then we got our Pedicure, but they didn't use the little cheese grader on my toes and my feet still looked rough. I will never come here again. The service was terrible .The quality was subpar. Come in without an appointment or have your regular person. I drive from PVB to have my fill in's done by Kelly. She has been doing my nails for over eight years. They have a full staff that does basic manicures to elaborate nail art, latest trends, dips, tips, and lovely pedicures (they have a menu of pedi options). The salon was updated several years ago. I love that they do not blare music in the salon so you can relax. The owners are usually there working on nails too. Reputable, and they do a great job. read more

Stopped here while visiting from Atlanta. Im very big on my nails being a certain shape and not being too bulky. I was kinda hesitant about trying a new place out of town but I'm so glad I stopped here. Wendy did my fill in and pedicure, and she did a phenomenal job. My full set looks like my real nails. She also shaved down previous acrylic on my big toes that was way too bulky. I love the way that turned out because my toes look natural also. I wish I knew the name of the lady who did my nails, but she did not do a good job at all. I got dip powder and I had pointed out that she was leaving gaps between my cuticle and the sns. She responded but was very quite and not speaking clearly, I think she was saying that's how she does it???? I have gotten my nails done enough to know that is not correct. Not only that, but some are uneven and just thicker than others. Not worth the price. Wendy was my nail tech and she was amazing , my pedicure was very intricate and gentle , she was very nice and had a calming presence. When I showed her a picture of the nails I wanted she made sure she did everything to make them look exactly how I wanted them but asking me whether I was satisfied with how they looked each step of the way . In the end she did an amazing job and there wasn't anything I would change about how they looked. She made the process stress free and relaxing . I really wanted to like Bella Nails and everyone in my party really seemed to enjoy it. The location is convenient, parking is plentiful and our appointment times were adhered to. There is a good selection of treatments from standard to deluxe. Since it was a special day, the girls in my party were treating me, so they got me a deluxe pedicure package, while they both got standard packages. They both seemed in heaven with their technicians, while I was blessed with the manager who seemed to have multiple duties other than just my pedicure. And other than getting ingrown nails on both my big toes, my deluxe treatment ended ten minutes before the standard treatments my compadres got, and they had therapists who only had to worry about their pedicures not dealing with other salon issues. Do I sound bitter? Okay maybe, it was a special day after all and I felt anything but special. Like I said, the rest of the party enjoyed the visit. read more

I will not come back to this place. It's was painful when she cut my cuticles (I did pedi), the tower was way too hot - it burned my skin even). I wasn't asked even if the temperature is ok. My husband and I went here while on a mini vacation. I got a manicure with gel polish and he got a pedicure. He said it was the best pedicure he's ever gotten. That's pretty high praise. The lady that did my nails did a very nice job. My nails are extremely short and my cuticles are a mess and she was still able to and them look nice. The 4 instead of 5 is because for me it wasn't very personal. My stylist didn't really speak to me and while all the employees spoke to each other, it wasn't in English which is always uncomfortable for me. read more

This was my second time at this salon, I returned because I had a great experience my first time and thought I had found a dependable place in Jacksonville.
