I booked an appointment with a specific artist, based on a referral. When I arrived, I was told she wasn't in but they had moved me to someone else. No one called and asked if I'd like to reschedule. (I would have.) As with so many businesses, I was "passed off" to the new person with little experience, as per her own admission. I've been a front end manager at a salon and spa. This is the LAST thing you do with a new client. My mistake was not leaving as soon as I learned my appointment had been moved to someone else without informing me before hand. (Very unprofessional.) If this happens to you, reschedule your appointment and LEAVE. I am now out just under $100 for a service that ended with poor results. I suggest the owner (who isn't on site) use this as a teachable moment. read more

I HATE leaving negative reviews, I truly do. But this business is not one I'd recommend. Note: this was my first time getting lash extensions. I was late by 30 minutes. I called before I was late, as I was stuck in a DR appointment. Receptionist was VERY nice, although she neglected to tell my technician I was to be late. But that's not the issue. Including tip, I spent over $300 for blended lashes. It was very uncomfortable, and I had her end a tad early, but that's not the issue. The ISSUE IS - I followed instructions to the letter. They had all fallen out within 48 hours. ALL OF THEM! I contacted Lash, and a couple days later, they did offer to redo them, which while I appreciate, I did not want to spend another two hours getting them redone if they were just to fallout again. I requested a refund. That is not their policy they said. But the main issue? Not their unreasonable satisfaction "guarantee", and refusal of a refund. It was the manager. When she called me? She was on the offense immediately. Started with "well I see here you were late, and then left early", while yes that is true, it's not an excuse for all of them falling out. Or, the technician should have told me so, and I would have powered through. The manager is completely rude, and unprofessional. I would not recommend getting your lashes done here, OR, working for her! Sorry Lash, I told you I'd review your negatively unless we reached a mutual decision. Jen B. I was really looking forward to my brow wow service yesterday. The client before me took a little longer than expected and I was okay with that. When it was turn, I also expect the full service right? Well, the lady the in the registrar kept telling the lady who was working in my brows that the other client had been waiting for a while. My friend and I booked a bestie brow appointment to get lamination + lash lifts. We were seated together and attended to by the same tech at the same time -- I believe it was a booking mistake since we made the appointment online, and this is where I think it went wrong! It's important to note that our tech and everyone at the salon were incredibly nice, and walking out of the appointment we were very happy! Lash lifts can be a little uncomfortable but our tech was very gentle and never got any product in our eyes, big win! Our issue arose the next day with our brow laminations.. when we rinsed our faces after 24 hours, both of us experienced very crunchy, over processed brows. My friend had additionally gotten a tint (looked great!) and I didn't, but our brows were the same texture. It's been about 2 weeks and my brows look worse than before, are kind of curly and still crunchy, and I've noticed a few hairs shedding despite trying to keep them hydrated. In the last year, I've tried to go back a few times to get the same service and I have been heavily disappointed. I don't know if they changed the process of the lift & tint or if it's the new providers (my provider today was so nice and my eyebrows look great! I got a lamination & tint ) but I won't be trying that lash service again. UPDATE: Unfortunately, I have had a bad reaction to either the type of wax or way of waxing. The entire area underneath my brows have been bumpy, itchy, and inflamed for the past 3-4 days. I have never had issues previously with eyebrow waxing at other places, but every time is different I suppose. Ask about patch testing at a new place beforehand. Nevertheless, my brows themselves and customer service was still great. It was the first time in over a year that I've gotten my eyebrows cleaned up and my first time at Lashjax. Not only was my experience great with Caroline, but I will be coming back! The Brow Wow service was much needed and Caroline did a wonderful job talking me through the process and what I wanted. I'm giving LASH a 4 star because of my microblading experience with Kim. The experience with Kim was sub par at best. The tech had a bad attitude throughout my appointments and the pigment didn't even hold. Whereas I'm inclined to give a 1 star rating based on this I'm rating it a 4 because the owner Tammy was so very nice to work with. The owner heard all of my concerns associated with my experience and was able to come to a resolve. The boutique within the salon is also very nice and the establishment is incredibly clean. Every time I was there there was at least four other women doing eyelashes and other procedures. So they definitely have other things working in their favor. I wouldn't recommend going to LASH and having microblading done by Kim. If they get another tech I'd be more-so incline to have her do the procedure. But if you're looking to get eyelash extensions or any other procedure I'd highly recommend it.
