These folks are incredible! The doctors take adequate time to not only make you feel comfortable, but they also educate you on your specific eye care. They explain the "why" behind each aspect of the examination. They are kind and incredibly knowledgeable, yet make the concepts approachable to the average person. Not only that, but Courtney who deals with client's contact purchases and glasses helped me complete the rebate process for my contacts, thus saving me 100s of dollars. You should go anywhere else. I had an exam and ordered new glasses here on March 2nd. At the time, they made me sign a waiver saying I couldn't get a refund on my glasses so that should have tipped me off but I've had great experiences with this office when it was in Goodlettsville and went ahead and signed the form. The glasses I picked out were very tight on my face and I asked if they would be able to adjust them to fit once they came back and was told they could. The glasses were very tight when they came in and they adjusted them somewhat but they were still too tight. I was told they would loosen up with wearing so I left. A few weeks later, the right lense popped out when I picked them up to clean them. I took them back and they put the lense back in. I also told them they were still way too tight and hurt to wear. The guy who helped place the order when I picked these frames out took them to adjust them several times but they were still too tight along the side of my face/head. The last time he brought them out to me, the earpieces were sticking out straight from my head at an angle and did not curve back toward my ears. He said that was the best he could do and if he kept going they would just be sticking out from my head which they already were. I told him that didn't look good and asked if they could be curved liked my old glasses were and even showed those to him. He said no so I asked him to just put them back the way they were to begin with and I'd try to just wear them. This week, I took my glasses off one day before a shower and the other lense popped out. I have also been noticing that people at a short distance were incredibly blurry and I couldn't even tell if they were a man or a woman. I took the glasses back today (May 2nd) and they put the lense back in and eventually told me they couldn't adjust the glasses to fit my face and agreed that the lenses are probably popping out because they are too tight. They said they could retest my eyes to see if my prescription was off but there was nothing they could do about the frames because it had been over 30 days since I got them. I told him I wasn't going to try to keep wearing glasses that didn't fit (especially if the lenses will keep popping out) and I was done. He said okay. Didn't offer a partial refund/discount on another pair of frames or anything. So, I left without the glasses because I can't wear them and they got $488.96 out of me for a pair of glasses I wore for about two months that hurt my face and I couldn't see well out of. I've learned my lesson and will never go back. I also hate that I lost so much money but I wouldn't have worn those glasses. They dug into the side of my head and hurt so much. They could have told me the glasses couldn't be adjusted to fit me in plenty of time for me to pick another pair of frames but they didn't. I hope no one else has to deal with anything like this. Please do yourself a favor and go anywhere other than here. This is a rip off and they should be ashamed of keeping almost $500.00 because someone can't wear the glasses that they should have known wouldn't work. I would think they should be able to tell when frames aren't going to work because of the size of someone's head and advise them they should maybe pick a different frame. I could have avoided so much time and trouble and not lost a large amount of money. read more

Not open on Saturdays despite claiming so. Blames it on COVID-19, though we are now in 2022 and the pandemic should no longer affect something like keeping your store hours up to date. EDIT: I am not frustrated about your staffing. I am about the fact that weather you are open or not is not properly communicated through online resources designed to do so. I went to America's Best. Just don't do it! This crew is kind and concerned. They made sure my prescription was correct and explained everything in detail to me. It wasn't just "can you see this" it was "are your eyes healthy" and "what can we do to make your contacts more comfortable and more accurate". If I could give this office 10 stars I would. Dr Duncin goes over in detail not only your prescription, why you need it, but even goes over the pictures they take of your eyes. He doesn't rush you and is super knowledgeable even so far as to assist with the contact fitting itself. Everyone in the office is great! My husband is even switching from his office to them as well. Abhorrent service. Receptionist completely failed to pay attention when I spoke and picked a fight with me when I repeated for the 5th to,e that I did not want daily contacts. Doctor was brusque, also ignored what I stated I was there for and had the audacity to take another patient halfway through my exam after he was already an hour late calling me in for my appointment in the first place. Completely unprofessional branch. I have never been to pearl vision that treated me like this. Note: the gentleman who checked me out was named Richard and he was attentive, professional and friendly. If he's not already a manager he should be. He's the highlight of that office. read more

I am not a established patient here. But I am truly thankful they were open, drive up service. I fell yesterday and bent my glasses making it difficult to see out of them. My regular eye doctor was closed and all others in my area. as well. The one office that was open refused to fix them because I did not purchase them at their location. Very disappointed with this facility. They gave me the wrong strength on my contacts. They also marked the box wrong, circling the left eye with the right vise versa. Also, I told them I was leaving on vacation and needed the contacts by a certain date. They said they would be in by that date. They were not....Went on vacation wearing over the counter reading glasses. read more

Worst dr ever. He was super rude, wouldn't stop talking about how much more important eye exams are than dental exams (very weird). Pretty much scolded my husband for not getting his eyes checked. He then wrote me the WRONG contact RX so I ended up with a 6 months supply of contacts that made my vision blurry in my right eye. Please spare yourself and go elsewhere. read more

Came to Pearle for a long overdue eye exam. Clean and comfortably office, friendly reception staff, knowledgeable optometrist who explained clearly and sales staff took the time to explain my lens & frame options and costs. It's not the cheapest option for an eye exam but I would prefer to pay more for a thorough exam. read more

STAY AWAY. This was a well run business that I always had positive experiences with until it changed hands a few years ago. Even as I write this, I find it hard to believe myself, but TWICE I took my glasses into them (glasses that had been purchased from this store) for routine help - once to trade out new lenses and once to simply have the earpieces adjusted. And, THEY BROKE my frames BOTH TIMES! They literally broke the frames around the lenses, and these were sturdy, plastic Oakley brand frames. The first time I was very disappointed, and in their defense, they replaced the first pair, but with a different model as the other style was now discontinued (which I loved dearly.) Well, the new ones A) I didn't care for aesthetically, and B) had the prescription screwed up in one eye to the point I can't read out of it. It also took them FOREVER to replace and they were indifferent to the point of rudeness at every turn along the TWO MONTHS it took to get a replacement. After they somehow broke a second pair also at the eye piece (despite my going to have the ear pieces tightened up?), I didn't even bother to pursue with a replacement or other recourse. I simply don't trust them to do anything competently and decided to cut my losses. I will never do business with ANY Pearl Vision given that they allow this particular franchise to carry their name. When they broke the second pair, they also acted like it was my fault and offered no apology. Possibly the worst consumer experience I've ever had. I've worn glasses for three decades and never had them broken by an eye care "professional." Sad... read more
