Buyer beware, read this before you go there. This is no longer the same store you think you are heading to. I went to this place on Aug 19. The rep, Steve Bloom, suggested to me that I get Shamir Autograph 3. When I saw the receipt, it says "Digital Enhanced Progressive" is what I was paying for. I asked Steve to put "Shamir Autograph 3" on the receipt for clarity and to AVOID POTENTIAL DISPUTE. He told me he could not do that. Later on that day after I went back home, I got a call from Steve telling me that what I ordered was not Shamir Autograph 3 and in order for me to get that, i needed to pay an extra $200. What the F**K, this is exactly the reason why I asked him to spell it out on the receipt and this is exactly the reason why he refused to do it - so that he can ask me for the additional $200. On Monday morning, Aug 21, I called Steve and told him the store is not trustworthy and asked him to put the order on hold. Steve then checked the order status and informed me it was fine to put the order on hold. On Aug 22, I called back to cancel the order as I was convinced this is not the store that I can trust. The woman, possibly named Natasha, told me categorically that the order cannot be cancelled. I then called Steve to no avail. I then called the corporate center. The woman named Lindsay told me the store is independently owned and she could not do much about it. I asked to speak to her supervisor, she said super would call me within 24 hours. Well I haven't received the call yet, technically it is still within the 24 hour window but let's wait and see. Update: It was 8/24/2017, well beyond the 24 hour window. Nobody from corporate center bothered to call me "as promised". This says it all about the corporate culture! I posted my experience on Yelp, Twitter, Facebook, and Google review and guess what happened, the woman, who originally categorically refused to cancel the order, called and told me she would refund me the money. Thank you Yelp, Twitter, Facebook and Google - you provided a platform for average Joe to stand tall against bad businesses. read more

it is so good to have a eye care place with staff that really care about their clients. They treat you like family. and if you are a kind, pleasant person yourself, you could get anything you need. for example, I recently left my eyeglasses in North Carolina. I'm in New Jersey and l did not know how important my prescription reading eyeglasses were until I used my drugstore bought readers. I was in so much pain. I placed a order for a new pair of eyeglasses, but in the meantime, I NEEDED EYEGLASSES to read, while I wait for the lab to send them to me. well, lo, and behold, I took a chance and asked, Caroline, one of the customer service reps, if I may borrow, rent or something like that a pair because I need to read. she, Andrew and Steve made it happen for me. now I call that SPECIAL customer service! there was another client in the center who has experienced great customer service also. A Tiffany eyeglasses customer, i didn't even know that Tiffany make glasses, will also write a review. This is my second year being a client at Pearle Vision, and will remain one. Genuinely, I loved the service they offered me here. I usually been to travel a lot. In last month, I was completely in travelling where I lost my glasses in my return journey. Without glasses I can't even sustain for even one day I was totally depended on it. I have visited the Pearle Vision to get the glasses, but on a doubt on my eye sight I even went for the eye exam where doctor screened my results in detail and explained me the problem with my eyes later he also suggested me to go for contact lenses. I tried them which I was completely wondered as it gave my old look which I always being missing. I've visited so many eye care centers previously where no one has suggested this. I was really very happy for the suggestion that doctors are giving here, highly advisable. read more

I had my first eye exam today and purchased a new pair of glasses. I felt very safe during this pandemic as they took my temperature upon entering the store. Everyone was wearing masks and were very diligent in wiping down surfaces, etc. Dr. Sudol was very thorough during my exam and took the time to explain everything to me! Drita assisted me with selecting my new Purple frames! She was extremely helpful and honest during the selection, in particular, offered me the best kinds of lenses for my frames and the best Eyewear Protection plan!! Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at Pearle Vision, Rt. 4 Paramus, NJ. Can't wait to pick up my new glasses!! read more

Dr, Sudol is always wonderful with my daughter and his staff is always friendly and courteous. The Frames and Lenses Dept is about as friendly and helpful as you can imagine. My daughter is treated with smiles and patience from the entire dept and believe it or not, she is always entertained with a magic trick by the their superb manager. Can you believe that? Also they offer to adjust my frames while we are finishing up my daughter's order. We have been going to this Pearl Vision for a few years and its always a pleasure. We wouldn't go anywhere else. This office has such a happy and welcoming vibe, the girls from the doctor's side are amazing they were able to fit me in their busy schedule under such short notice. Ashley was very helpful in explaining my insurance and the whole eye exam to me. Doctor Sudol is the best, he was able to complete my eye exam with detail to what my concerns were. As well as the optical side is filled with upbeat people who helped me find the perfect pair of both glasses and sunglasses at an affordable price. Today I went for my appointment and I was very pleased to say I felt very safe in this establishment. Everyone was wearing mask the ladies kept sanitizing all areas, they are so friendly. Dr Sudol was very thorough and took his time to explain what was going on with my eyes. What a great selection of glasses, I'm so happy they also repaired my old glasses for free. We had a very positive experience at this store. The staff including Gabriel, Carl and Natasha were extremely helpful polite and patient. They made sure that our needs were taken of promptly. Gabriel was attentive and persuasive but not pushy. Carl's attention to detail is worth a special mention. Natasha made us feel valued as customers. The product we got more than met our expectations. My prescription is very complicated, and I've never been able to pick up my glasses and see clear the first try, Dr Sudol is an amazing doctor. Don't walk to Pearl Vision on route 4. Run! I was used to spending way too much money at my eye doctor's optometry center. Then I decided to bring my prescription for sunglasses to Pearl Vision. And I am very glad I did! Steve at Pearl Vision provided outstanding customer service and helped me pick out the perfect sized frames at very good prices.
