If you have a WaySpa gift card, I recommend booking with Dandy's instead. Dandy's is a class act…read morespa all around, unlike Spa'ology, whose manager seems to be the root cause of all the 1 star reviews. I came to this location on June 6, 2026 for a pedicure as I had a $150 WaySpa gift card to spend, The problem arose when I went to pay, as I was told I had to redeem the entire gift card in one shot, and could use the remaining $80.17 on product. (Note: The WaySpa site says different: " If the value of the treatment you receive is less than the value of the gift card, the remaining balance will be issued to you in the form of a credit from the spa the card was redeemed at".) I had no interest or need to buy $80.17 in product, so I decided not to use the gift card and I paid for the service by debit ( plus a generous $20 cash tip to the technician) This past weekend (July 4), I decided to use my gift card to treat myself and my niece to pedicures at a different spa. When I went to pay, the balance was zero, much to my surprise and embarrassment! Spa'logy confirmed the staff had inadvertently redeemed my gift card in addition to accepting payment by debit. The manager did apologize for the error, and offered to give me what should have been offered in the first place- a credit of the unused portion at the spa and a refund of the money I paid. I understand that people make mistakes, but a good manager would try to make it right again. I have no interest in supporting this spa in the future, and I insisted that I either be given the cash back or have a gift card of $150 returned to me. The main issue for me is that I had an unexpected outlay of cash of approx $220 when I intended to spend $0 due to incorrect policy applied on my first visit and the inadvertent redemption of my gift card. I am now ghosted and the manager has stopped responding to texts. That spa has my gift card money of $150 ( I understand the spa does not get the entire amount as WaySpa takes a cut, however a good manager might be willing to eat the cost caused by staff error). I also wonder why the spa would not have tried to investigate why its till was over $150 on June 6th, and why no effort was made to track me down. I am not unreasonable in asking that the value I had on the gift card be returned to me in cash to replace the cash I was forced to spend due to Spa'logy's error. BUT, if this is truly impossible, at least I should have my entire balance returned to me via a new WaySpa card. The resolution they are offering is what works for them, not for me. NOT IMPRESSED!! (Update July 9th- the spa has been ignoring me for two days now even though I had capitulated and said I would take a refund of the $ I spent on my debit card and a credit at the spa, but I have rescinding that statement as I am adamant that at least the spa should replace the gift certificate for the entire $150 value, that's what I walked in with, and that's what I should have walked out with. They had no right to redeem it as I paid for the service by debit. I now consider this straight up theft- they redeemed my gift certificate when they should not have and there is no indication that they are making any attempt at a resolution as the manager has ghosted me (Update: July 10th, no resolution and no contact from the Spa'ology to date, WaySpa has kindly stepped up to advocate on my behalf. but I think the manager is ghosting them as well) Update: Way Spa has resolved this, thank you to Way Spa, they confirmed it was resolved as I was putting in an on-line complaint to the Edmonton police for theft under $5,000 as I had no further indication that Spa-ology was engaged in a resolution process at all. I am glad it didn't come to that. I am happy to report I have a $150 gift certificate to spend at Dandy's.

I was gifted a spa day at this salon. This was my first time going. The location was easy to find…read more Parking was fairly ample. I walked in and was greeted immediately. I awkwardly walked around the non working fountain in the middle of the entrance way. Thinking to myself what a hazard. I had booked a 1 hr massage, facial, pedicure and manicure along with brow threading. The lady that did my massage (name unknown) was very talkative and at first I was annoyed as I wanted to relax. She would explain what she was doing and asked if I was comfortable with pressure or being touched in certain areas. After a bit she started to explain my body issues as she was massaging me, how tight I was, the stress, too much coffee, lack of exercise, the need for stretching and how my body was showing me that I needed to lay attention to it more. She did this in a way that was not a put down but more of a realization. It was interesting and very informative. I love a deep massage and she was deep. She worked me to the muscle! She massaged areas others usually miss. She had me snoring a few times and I came out of that room a new woman. Giving her a 9 out of 10. Had a facial next by another person. Not sure what she did as there wasn't much explaining of the steps. It was so relaxing I fell asleep. Before we finished the last steps I got my eyebrows threaded and than the last steps of the facial was complete. Facial 8 out of 10 Eyebrows 6 out of 10 (I prefer my usual place and how they shape them) Next up was manicure and pedicure. Before we started I explained I did not want a manicure. I asked if I could get a credit to come back which I was told no. If I don't get it today than it's gone. That was shocking to me. So I asked for gel polish for my pedicure and they said they would do that instead. Not exactly the same cost value, but better then losing the price of manicure. (Yes it was a package deal but still thought a credit would be an option). Anyways had a lovely pedicure. Other places that I have gone to scrubbed the feet and worked on taking off the dry skin more than this place. Really loved my toes and how nice they looked. My heels were still rough. I suggest using a pumice stone to really work that area. The tools were limited in what they had. I would give a 7 out of 10 for the pedicure I did get a lovely green tea and samosa with chutney. That was really lovely and got a second serving of it all. The chutney was very good. Over all the experience was wonderful. It is pricey for most of the services and feel the best value was the massage. If someone wanted to give me another day at this spa I would not refuse.
