I have visit the store twice now and I have to say I've gotten impeccable service. Not only do they truly focus on their customers and help them especially in explaining what each crystal/gems does but their cheerful and happy. I personally have never been into this stuff, but my youngest niece is and I went there for an anniversary gift. My oldest got into it too, and we went there a second time. I have to say they have a wide variety of selections and not just crystal/gems. They have amazing statues and books, etc. The value of everything was reasonably priced and I definitely will be back. read more

After having a discussion with the experts in the Columbus Paranormal Society Meetup, I decided to go back to get a Pink salt lamp and a few more minerals or stones. The lady behind the counter was a little more friendly. The heart shaped one was still left. She even reminded me it was a lamp I decided That since that expressive sounds to sleep by machine that I brought had another problem playing a selection, rain. Thunderstorms stopped with less than year. Other 10 sounds don't work for me to get to sleep, the top of the line nature sound machine from Bed, Bath, and Beyond so waste of almost $90. Since I have a small cd player on the headboard of the bed, maybe one of the CDs sold here would work. Clerk was helpful pointing to on that blends nature's sounds with flute music. Got 3 different stones and crystals to add to my pouch. Picked them to blend in with the others to help change my energy so it would be more positive. Seems like it has been very negative for too long. Let you know if /when I learned if its works. I guess you just have to have a little faith. read more

I came with my sister, and unfortunately, we were pressed for time and could only spend an hour or so looking at some of the crystals, but we also bought jewelry. I came back another time when I could spend all day in the store, lol, and Dana should get a bonus because she runs the place like she owns it! Not only is she so knowledgeable, but she is also so friendly to the customers and professional to the other employees. Pearls of Wisdom is primarily an independent bookstore but truly offers so much more. Sometimes I get nervous walking into a spiritual based store, almost like I'm not really one of them. That of course is ridiculous. I had a specific product in mind and the women behind the counter was ever so friendly and helpful. She led me to exactly what I needed based on the information I shared with her. That took just a few minutes. But I wasn't near ready to leave. Suddenly I began seeing things I desired for myself and things I felt would benefit friends and family. I saw the new Enya CD, bath salts, candles, jewelery, sage smudge bustles, incense, and of course books of every subject from Wicca, paranormal, angels, yoga, yoga for children, love, etc. The absolute best part of my experience was after I paid, and we ready to leave. The woman who helped me earlier, looked right at me and said "I want you to have a good day." I felt like she knew something, like she could see my troubles. Do NOT come here... if you have a weak spot for jewelry! They have SO MANY nice, unique pieces that you will not find anywhere else. And the ladies at the counter are nice and very knowledgeable about the names and properties of each stone. We were there for a long time looking at their stuff, and I ended up buying three pendants that will bring me lots of enjoyment. Yesterday I decided to visit Pearls of Wisdom with my parents while running errands. I was immediately intrigued when walking in and had the sudden urge to educate myself and get to know what crystals are really all about. While I was browsing, an older woman whom I believe to be the owner, snapped at a fellow employee in an extremely inappropriate manner. During my 15 minutes of being here the owner was so rude to her employee (keep in mind this was in front of her customers) that it made the employee cry. I then went to buy my items and the owner was speaking very rudely to the employee about a paper cutter. I mean really? It's just a paper cutter. Not to mention, the owner was yelling at the young man working the cash register telling him he "must sing" due to letting the line get too long (there were two people in line- I was one of them) which made the cashier visibly uncomfortable. You would think someone who owned a store full of healing and positivity would be more kind and empathetic. I loved the store but there are many others out there I'm sure that have a more compassionate owner. I will most likely not be coming back. read more

I came here after USPS lost my bismuth crystal and was pleasantly surprised to hear Pearls of Wisdom sold bismuth. Although the prices were a bit high compared to Etsy shops and for the small size of the crystals, it was worth it. The second I entered this establishment, calmness came over me, and I ended up spending 2.5 hours there, looking at zen products and collecting a basket of crystals and candles. Many things to see and learn to balance your chakras and balance your life. You'll find a collection of books, music, singing bowls, smudge sticks, crystals, and a calm room of salt lamps. Prices are so reasonable. Plenty of parking. I just wish it were bigger and they held classes and more, but not complaining. I intend to spend to visit often. I highly recommend. read more

The selection of crystals and gemstones is great, the used book section good/ affordable, the meditations held there weekly are free (which is respectable!) and the counter people are always totally totally nice. This should be in heaven! So why am i not in love? The person who owns the place whom I have interacted with on multiple occasions seems to be going through some sort of issues that manifest themselves in a holier- than -thou -super-guru attitude that pees all over my parade. I feel like i have to cleanse every crystal i buy from there just to get out the owners ego out of it. Seems like maybe she needs a big ol piece of obsidian, a chill pill and a vacation. This little shop is pretty darn cool. Albeit, its a little too on the happy-go-lucky and maybe somewhat cheesy side for me, (I'm from New Orleans and have an affinity with Voodoo and Witchcraft. Go figure.) this shop is a real gem for those of you looking for anything from incense to high quality gem stones. I went there not really knowing what to expect and was pretty excited to see their extensive collection of Tarot cards and occult books. They also have sweetgrass, sage, reasonably priced jewelry and an awesome collection of polished gem stones that come with nifty little information cards telling you the properties of each. I was ecstatic to have found an affordable piece of Sugilite. And that's a pretty rare find. I mean, it was SUPER cheap. The staff was very nice and helpful. This is a surprisingly large store when you walk inside. I'm not very interested in the spiritual/pagan life path, but I loved the beautiful wares this shop has to offer. It smells like incense and is filled with amazing gem stones. At the front, there is a large section dedicated to precious stones and their meanings. I particularly enjoyed the book section, as it had a wide range of topics. In the center of the store, there's an area for statues and figurines. I found an amazing hand carved statue of a cat that I fell in love with instantly. The card section was my favorite. The cards carried are so elaborate and beautiful that I considered buying one just to look at. The prices are not dirt cheap, but that is because this is a shop that supports fair trade. When checking out, the ladies at the front desk were extremely sweet and helpful. Good customer service is the most important part of a business and I loved their vibe. read more

We came from Cleveland for a workshop held in Dublin. The speaker was Mastin Kipp and new up and coming spiritual leader. I did a search on yelp for metaphysical/stones and found Pearls of Wisdom. What a gem no pun intended ;) from books to candles, statues and their selection on stones was amazing! From simple tumbled to large geodes and those rare stones that will send you to another dimension!! The staff was knowledgable and very accommodating. I visited this store for the first time yesterday. I was surprised at how large it was and what a vast selection of merchandise they had. I didn't find a whole lot that interested me though, and the prices were high. Some of the items I was interested in didn't have price tags on them. I wanted to find some mala beads but they only had two different kinds. They were both pretty expensive for a string of wooden beads. I counted the beads on one set and they didn't even have the right number. The stones were cool and we bought a geode that was really pretty when we cracked it open. I might visit this store again, even though it didn't completely live up to my expectations. read more

This is my happy place. I've sat on the floor for hours looking through piles of Alex Grey books. This is where I purchased "Art Psalms" and a BUNCH of spirit animal guide books, chakra books, and crystal guide books. Their incense smells so amazing and they have a great selection. They also have a bucket they let kids pick stones from-their stones and quartz selection is great, and they have info cards that describe what the stones do. The lack of customer service here is astonishing. The woman at the counter was on the phone when I came in, when I went up to check out 30 minutes later she was still on the phone. She watched me come to the counter, turned her back to me, and started a new line of conversation. I will never return, which is a shame.
