This is a great place to eat. The service is prompt and it is nice and clean, friendly staff. The food is really delicious as well! I've tried quite a variety here and it all has been great. Excellent burgers! They name them so that must tell you something positive. Pearly Gates really is a gem. More people should use their hour long linch hour to dine here. The fish fry's on Friday are famous. Often the perch is ranked as some of the best in Green Bay. Our server was prompt and dedicated to our being happy. We never ran low on beverages. The bar serves a Vet/Biker crowd, Fox News seems to pollute all of the televisions, there is a fireplace near where we lunched. If you are after a sports bar, you might keep driving. They have weekend performers, the band 'Ruckus' was coming soon. The waitress made us laugh, everything in general was friendly. The food (Perch fry), fake news and friendly Wisconsin pub feel make me possibly want to return to the Pearly Gates. read more

Asked for noodles with my chili. No noodles. Asked for sweet potato fries. Got normal fries. I know what I asked for.

A coworker won a gift card to this bar for wings and pizza, and a few of us got together to indulge ourselves in the winnings. The bar is in a residential area of town. Good thing they have a sign, otherwise it would be easy to miss. This bar is very supportive for Veterans. They organize a lot of Veteran Rides, which is great that they are so supportive. Because of this, it's a big hangout for local veterans. As I sat down at the bar and ordered a beer, something about this bar felt very homey. It felt like I was sitting in my uncle's or grandfather's basement. It looked like the patriotic wall décor was purchased from Hobby Lobby, the wooden kitchen cabinets, the fire place with ceramic tiling, and of course...a bar! Besides the pull tabs scattered on the floor, it's super clean there. If you don't sit at the bar, they have several high-top tables to eat your meal. Our server was on-point the whole time. Besides being flexible with the gift card order, she took our additional orders, was already to refill our drinks, plus she was working the bar and helping everyone else who was there for dinner. We got four orders of wings. The BBQ and mild buffalo sauces were my favorite. The sausage and pepperoni pizza were fantastic. I really enjoyed the crust, and I'm not much of a crusty guy. It was bready and soft. I also ordered some cheese curds. I've had better cheese curds, but these were not that bad. They didn't have much of a beer selection but did have two New Glarus beers and Keweenaw's Black Widow Maker on tap. This is not a place I would go on my own, but I would go again with the right group of people for a greasy-fried food dinner. read more

This bar is my new favorite place. The food is great, and huge portions. The drinks are strong. The owner was our bartender and he was so friendly and just a genuine person. The decor is very American and they are super supportive of veterans which is awesome. They are constantly holding some sort of raffle to raise funds for veterans. Stopped by during a weekday afternoon, and the clientele during that time are some great older guys that remind me of my grandpa. I don't live very close, but I'm making a point of stopping here at least monthly. So worth the trip!! read more

I made the mistake of paying $21 for a huge chunk of bristly fat (what they consider a ribeye steak) it was honestly the worst piece of meat I've ever seen. I say seen because it simply was not edible. Very disappointing waste of money. I would rather have just handed them a $20 with nothing in return than to deal with whatever this disgusting chunk was. I had forgotten about this place until someone recommend it for Friday Fish Fry. The bar has a large following, so be prepared to wait for a table. Service was good, however could use a couple of extra hands. Lots of waiting groups, tables needed clearing or people waiting to pay bills. This was the only thing I would recommend improving. Food was great! ! I recommend the Salmon if your wanting to avoid deep fried. I'm assuming the Perch is also great as they were sold out by the time we were seated. Overall a good stop. A couple of CC Boyz dropped by for the Friday Smelt fry. The place was clean and food was hot. There were enough people there but not too busy, food took a little while to get though. A lot of military banners and USA support in this place!! read more

Visited Green Bay for the first time and stopped by this place, good bar food, I got the ribeye steak and a baked potato with bacon and my god...there was SO MUCH bacon. For an appetizer I had gotten cheese curds and pretty sure it was like 2lbs worth. They do not skimp on stuff here, everything is man sized. I smelled someone eating wings and that smelled amazing, kinda wish I had that, the ribeye was very solid, but I could make better, it had a great taste, but like most Wisconsin places, i doubt they even put seasoned salt on it. Season your food folks! The only downside it feels like a very Trumpy type of bar if you know what I mean and made me as a person of color feel a bit uncomfortable and out of place...good food tho and bartender was a sweetheart. read more

After a wonderful day at Our Lady of Good Help in Champion, WI, we thought it to be a divine sign to find a restaurant called Pearly gates on the way home. We stopped in and was greeted with much friendliness. Obviously they love their vets. I asked our waitress if the owner was a veteran, she said no but they raise money for vets and hold a vet ride every year. My friend told her I was a vet. I told them it was my friend's birthday. A few minutes later, the owner came to our table and gave me a military coin after hearing I was a veteran. As we finished, the waitress came and said that a man (who has left) paid for our meals. How sweet was that? The gyros, fries and cheese curds were delicious. We will be back. read more

Great bar! Great food! Fun place to ride and stop on my motorcycle. They make tasty bloody mary's and have cheap chicken wing deals. Will head back in July for the Harley giveaway and outdoor concerts. read more

Pearly Gates is a great place to stop. Not much of a night life but the food is great.

Good food and friendly wait staff. We had the Friday night specials; perch was excellent and I had the Shrimp combo. Grilled shrimp was perfect. We will be back. read more
