Cheeseburger had a decent bun and a good sized patty. Very filling. Lacked some "umph" and wasn't a to die for burger as a bar burger should always be. Would try something else next time. The place was empty yet service was very slow. My husband had the ragu pasta. It was very salty. My sister ordered the Caesar salad with chicken. The salad was deconstructed and the chicken came on a separate plate which was very strange. I ordered the burrata salad with chicken. There was no salad just a huge glop of burrata with really bitter fruit under it. My chicken also came on a separate plate. The burrata dish was so sour it almost made me sick. I sent it back and got the burger. The burger was good. This restaurant is very expensive and not worth the price. There are better places to eat in Green Bay. read more

Meh. Thats my overall experience at Taverne In the sky for dinner. The bar and the outdoor space is great, but their dinner missed the mark. For a Kohler property and given the Kohler reputation, the food and service did not deliver. Our waiter was spazzy, refills were not timely, and the food delivery was sporadic. The chicken wasn't good and was extremely pink inside, brought up concerns but they were dismissed. Curds were solid and Caesar was ok. Dessert was pretty good and so were the views. read more

Solid four stars for our food. We came for lunch on a Friday afternoon, not during football season, so it was very quiet. Our server was wonderful! The fries are something special, seasoned to perfection. My turkey sandwich was pretty good. Not amazing, but pretty good! Wow!! Had reservations which I highly recommend. We sat in a booth so no "view" which was fine with us. Our server Daniel was 5 star. Friendly, extremely knowledgeable..very meticulous as well. We had the house salad which was good. I ordered the Sea Bass which was superb. It was buttery and so tasty. My husband had the Sun-dried Tomato Pest Rigatoni. Great choice too. We decided to give them another try after abandoning them for years because of poor food and service after hearing about the new chef and rebranding. The menu has slightly changed, but is still limited. The service was okay and we understood the staff was trying to work through the new things. Two of us got their signature chicken and rice soup and it was lukewarm and had very little substance to it, mostly broth. The rest of the food was barely warm, but good flavor. Would appreciate seeing one or more seafood items on the menu. The chef came out and introduced himself and we had a chance to share feedback. We will stay away for a while to give them a chance to work out the bugs and give guests a true Kohler experience. read more

This is the roof top bar on the Lodge Kohler which is located across the street from Lambeau Field. We stopped in for a night cap and sat outside. It was getting breezy and cool so the server offered a blanket to my wife who was cold despite the gas fire pit. The server was Nathan who was friendly, attentive and had tons of personality. A colleague and I were in Green Bay for a work trip and stayed at the beautiful and luxurious Lodge Kohler. We went to Taverne in the Sky BOTH nights as we just couldn't get enough!  We were treated so incredibly well and were dazzled by Nathan's amazing craft cocktail skills!  We felt honored to try something he was working on for their summer menu. It was so good we couldn't stop talking and thinking about it ... we may have to make a return visit to try the completed recipe (although it was already perfect!!). So, maybe I just have a different point of view, but I do not understand all the 3 star and below reviews for Tarverne in the Sky. Guys, I grew up in Green Bay. I am used to standard Green Bay fare. Taverne in the Sky is definitely good stuff. There was an actual kick to my food. My food was locally sourced. There's a rooftop bar, high ceilings, and a modern chic atmosphere. There was a well-stocked bar and a cocktail menu. My hippie, city-girl heart soars here. This place is a GEM. Despite the city-cool atmosphere, the service staff still talk to you like you're their long-lost neighbor. Somehow, this place has retained all the charm that is my hometown. What else are you wanting, people? Yes, the meat may have prices that is much higher than we're used to a Kroll's and Zesty's (and don't get me wrong. I love both!). But seriously, you guys were paying these prices at Brett Favre's Steakhouse back in the day and not complaining. Also, I've been to other bars around the city. Their cocktails run about the same price. There's plenty of hometown bars with rail drinks if that's more your style and price point because it definitely is for me some nights. Visited for my lunch birthday and my meal was horrible. I had the walleye po boy and the fish was prepared with the skin on and it was so extremely fishy tasting it was inedible. No fish sandwich should have the skin on. I would not recommend that item and I hope the kitchen changes up how they prepare this. Service and martini were good. The food was very good but the star of the show was the burger. My husband couldn't even finish it and he can take down almost any burger! Everyone had finished their meal - so I just asked for the check. They did comp the meal which was nice of them - but not a good sign when they can't do a medium steak (with 2 attempts)... The other steaks order were 50 % fat. The rib sliders were like jerky - terrible. The sides were not as described and sub-par. Overall - a below average experience with top tier pricing. I brought my Aunt, who's from North Carolina, here to have the Stadium and great food experience- she actually said that she liked Outback Steak better, completely embarrassing My Ribeye was over cooked and I added Blue cheese crumbles to it and it came out looking like a Philly Cheesesteak. Visited Taverne in the Sky for a birthday brunch before the big game. I made the reservation for their brunch buffet a month in advance, but was still seated at not the best table (right next to the buffet with lots of traffic). The price point for the unlimited buffet is so worth it. Food was overall really good and included many options like crab cake benedicts, country fried steak, savory crepes, bacon & sausage, sweet & savory toasts, two types of potatoes, waffles, and more. My only food related complaint is they advertise a "donut wall" but was actually just a plate of average donuts. I would definitely recommend for more of a low-key vibe for your game day pregame. read more

The worst food I have ever had. Ordered wedge salad room service. Got a whole head of lettuce. Had the short rib with smashed Yukon gold potatoes because they couldn't make mashed potatoes as I asked. Rib was so tough and they just put 3 whole potatoes on the plate, no seasoning AT ALL. Skip their food and walk over to Kroll's. You'll be GLAD you did. The spa was awsome, but everything else sucked. Terrible housekeeping. We had the Lambeau suite for 4 nights. I am a Green Bay Packers fan and I've live in California. Don't ask me why but I just love the Green Bay Packers My husband got me tickets to the Packers vs Cardinals game. We decided to eat across the street at this lovely restaurant called Tavern in the sky. I tried to go a day before the game but I was told that it was closed, I was very disappointed so I tried again the very next night, and it was open when I got upstairs I was asked if I had a reservation. I said ; " no " then a waitress came from behind and whispered something in the hostess ear and she then quickly told me there are no seats available. I was told "I could sit at the bar" so I decided to put my name on a waitlist for a seat and we told them that "we would wait in the bar" so I ordered some appetizers, shrimp cocktail, prime rib, sliders, and corn chips and a queso dip. If you follow my reviews, you know that I'm always honest the shrimp cocktail, I give it a 10 , the prime rib sliders tasted like beef jerky in a slider bun. I give it a one. The queso cheese dip ..... it was horrible. The sauce was broken. It tasted like dust and liquid it was disgusting from that point the time we were given had never arrived. we decided that the restaurant was not going to be good, and we decided to leave and we were there for about an hour and never received word of the table being ready and when we left we seen several empty tables. My 1st visit to Green Bay! Why?? Just because. We ventured to see the football field and other area attractions. We stopped at Taverne for a late lunch. The ambiance was delightful. Very tasteful modern decor with tons of natural light from all the windows. There are seating options indoor and outdoor. Great lighting and pretty seating for some great IG pics. I had the veggie burger which was by far the best veggie burger I've ever had! Yes, it's just a Beyond Meat patty however, the toppings and the ciabatta bread were sooooooo delicious!!! I had fries with my burger which were also delicious! They had great seasoning, texture, and the right amount of crispiness. We also had the Farm Fresh salad which was also very good. We were seated promptly and our waitress was very attentive. I eyed the cocktail menu and had to use a lot of willpower to pass up the crafted options.
