    Captains catch
    Jacqueline C.

Staff was really friendly but this had to be the worst fish fry I have ever had unfortunately. Got the captains catch. Got three choices of fish. Only thing good was the shrimp. The others I couldn't even eat. No flavor, just bland nothing. Fries were hard and coleslaw was ok. Served white bread and not rye. Didn't care for that. Place was small and we waited awhile for a seat. I won't ever be coming back unfortunately due to the food

Soggy walleye and a cup (if that) of potato salad

Very disappointing fish fry. I gave this place a try, and spent $23 on soggy walleye, a tiny cup of potato salad, and disappointing over vinegary coleslaw. I could overlook 1 thing being wrong, but not everything. This place to me seems more like a bar than a restaurant. I am so sad. At least include a lemon for the fish? Tartar sauce was decent. I hate leaving bad reviews but I'm just so disappointed.

Little bit of craft beer on tap

OK, this place, has to be, hands down, Top 3 places to have Friday night fish fry. We've been meaning to try their fish for awhile, after falling head over heels for their burgers and ONION RINGS, and tonight we finally got the chance. We went a little later, around 8:30 and the place was still hopping. We had the bluegill and the walleye and both were divine! What a nice change to have light, crispy, fresh breading instead of thick beer batter. The fish tasted fresh and like it had actually come out of water somewhere!! It was piping hot out of the fryer with no wait at all. Next time, we're definitely trying the perch, since that is the real defining fish in Green Bay, but I can't wait to have fish here again!!

Came for the Friday night fish fry. Very good. Small local bar. I had the haddock and my husband had the walleye. Very good.

That said, there were a few things that made the visit less enjoyable. The hightop chairs had no backs and there wasn't enough coat hooks to put my winter coat on. My coat ended up sitting and sliding in my lap. The wait for food was longer than expected. All this to say, after sitting for a while waiting on our meal, it became pretty uncomfortable. I ordered a Turkey Avocado Bacon Panini which was delicious! It came with the option of homemade garlic fries or sweet potato fries. I choose the sweet potatoes fries. They came with a sugar coating which brought a sweet and savoryness to the meal! Overall, the food was good, but not enough to outweigh the inconvenience. I probably wouldn't return for dinner, but I'd consider stopping in for a quick drink to enjoy the atmosphere.

There are a lot of bars that have karaoke, but for some reason I keep going to Mikey's and I have no idea why! Here are some reasons: - A perfect stage with plenty of space for your karaoke fans to dance along too - A vast collections of songs...you'll find something that you like - There's a couple of TVs that display the words of the current song...so everyone can sing a long! - Everyone there always has a good time It's a strange mix of people that come to this bar, but we all have the goal to sing our favorite songs. The bar itself is pretty spacious, with a couple of pool tables and darts, and plenty of high tables to sit or lean on. The beer selection is kind of lacking, and generally a little more expensive to other bars. I'll admit, I usually don't drink much when I come here, I'd rather sing. If you like sweet tasting, boozy drinks then I would recommend getting the Volcano. A downside about the karaoke is that it can take well over an hour to sing your next song. One reason is because they have a lot of people that like to sing. Also their rotation is kind of funky. If I request my second song, and then someone after me requests their first song, then that person will go before me.

We ate here a couple times for snacks and dinner since we were staying in the hotel on business…read more We took our food to go every time. If we had to break it down, the food would be 2 stars, service 4. Eggs Benedict was a fried egg with a hollandaise that was lumpy and most likely made from a powder. No Canadian bacon so I ordered a side of sausage - which was dry. 1 Star. Gave it another shot. Asian crunch salad - not bad could have had more dressing. 2 very small slivers of chicken in it which were dry as well. 3 stars. My husband got Asian wings, potstickers and ordered an artichoke dip as well for the kids to share. Wings - 2 were raw. Seasoning was lacking. 1 Star. Potstickers were super greasy - we blotted them dry and liked the dipping sauce. 2 stars Artichoke dip - was really good! 4 stars. Service was great - food side of things could be better but if you stick to salads, soups (looked good) and the dip it's good. Their Bloody Mary's looked epic - so we may try that before heading out of town.

The meat lovers pizza I purchased for three of my children fed all of their bellies and was about $22, not too extravagant. The Beyond Burger was over $12 and was cooked badly. It was burnt on the outside and tasted weird on the inside. I was drinking, though, so I ate it without complaint. The fries were fresh and tasty. My husband's fish tacos were just "okay" and we didn't understand why only two were provided. The staff were nice enough, but very slow with our drink orders. $85 for five beers, a pizza, and two entrees seemed a little excessive to me, but so be it. It fed my family so that's what was most important.
