Looking for a fun place to grab lunch, dinner or a drink while you're in Green Bay? Check out The Depot! We met a friend here for lunch on a beautiful sunny afternoon and really enjoyed ourselves. It's located in the old historic train depot, which I thought was so cool and gives the restaurant a lot of character. There's plenty of room inside, bar seating and outdoor seating if you're lucky enough to get a beautiful Wisconsin summer day like we did. The service was friendly and attentive, and while I can't tell you exactly what I ordered for lunch, I DO remember the Bloody Mary -- it was really good! And if you're a Packers fan, make sure you stop for a picture with the Donald Driver statue outside. Even if you're not a huge football fan, it's a fun Green Bay photo op! We didn't need a reservation when we visited, and parking was easy with lots on both sides of the restaurant. Good drinks, friendly service, a really cool historic setting and a little Packers history thrown in. The Depot is definitely worth a stop when you're in Green Bay! read more

The fish and chips were terrible. first of all when it came out, it looked nothing like what was in the picture. They were flat brown and dried out except for the massive coating around. It ended up peeling all the coating off the fish and the fish was brown. looked nothing like what healthy fresh perch should look like. my server was really friendly and the restaurant has a cool vibe. read more

Used to really like this place then went so downhill we stopped going. Read new ownership and was looking forward to going back. Went for lunch on a Wednesday and seems like nothing changed. Same dirty sticky tables, menu not anything special, and so so service. There were 3 other tables and us at a noon hour. Not a good sign. First time and first meal in Green Bay. Went by reviews on what was close to the hotel. Cheese curds were amazing. I had the poutine, which was amazing. Wife and oldest had chicken strips, youngest just wanted fries after a day of traveling. Waitress was helpful and kept the drinks full. Would definitely go back if in the area. Their fish and chips (haddock and fries) are the best we've had. They make their own tartare sauce which is absolutely delicious. Instead of slaw, it comes with some zesty cucumbers and peppers. Staff have always been friendly and make great food recommendations. read more

After dining with a group of eight recently, I can honestly say that the location is genuinely this restaurant's greatest appeal. On a Sunday evening - Family Night - my party stood at the host/hostess station for far too long while the staff ignored us; the bartender could see us, but was too engaged in converstatio with patrons to offer us a table, and there was no other staff to be seen (however, we could see what appeared to be the bartender's underage, minor child sitting at a table wrapping utensils with napkins). The restaurant's temperature was ridiculously high; the temperature inside must have been close to eighty degrees on an April day. This made for a wildly uncomfortable experience. After being seated, it took a long time for anyone to ask for our initial drink and appetizer orders. Oh, and we first needed to ask for drink menus, because we were not initially provided with them. We were also not provided with kid's menus, despite our party including two children. The professionalism of the staff - all around - was sorely lacking. They were inattentive and slow. They also failed to bring requested items to our table (e.g., drinks ordered). I will say that two members of our eight person party found their Elk Burgers to be enjoyable. No other compliments were offered by anyone about the food. I ordered a bowl of chili, which was terribly bland and dry; I could not eat the chili because it was of such low quality. At the conclusion of the meal, the bill was presented to me and it lacked the Family Night discount for a kid's meal. I have dined here, perhaps, four times. I will not dine here again, and I do not recommend this establishment to anyone, save for the most masochistic of diners. read more

The Depot has a neat atmosphere and nice outdoor seating but the food wasn't anything exceptional. Still good, but nothing to write home about. Our waiter did just fine but I was served French fries instead of the sweet potato fries ($2 extra) which I had ordered. I was also served bacon on the brisket sandwich which I hadn't ordered. I asked for them to remove the additional charge from the bill and it was no problem. On the other hand, my girlfriend really enjoyed her food. If you are looking for somewhere quick and reasonably priced, this will do just fine. I'm not sure that I will return but I'm glad I tried it. read more

Solid 4...when I first sat down at the bar, I was a bit concerned, as the bartender read a litany of items that were unavailable due to the throng of soccer (futbal) fans that bought them out of many items the night before. I decided on the Southwest Salad with Chicken. It did take about 30 minutes for my food to come out, but it was worth the wait. The chicken was plentiful, tender, and tasty, and the fixins in the salad were fresh, just as described, and delicious! I ordered a martini while waiting for my food, and another once I got the salad. They were wonderfully crafted, and a crazy good deal! I sat at the bar, and the bartender Nick, was attentive, and efficient. This is also the old train station for Green Bay, which is fun history. If you've read the Packer history books, this is a key location-especially in the early 1900's. read more

I can't say enough about this place. 1st time in Green Bay. Found this place through reviews on here and I am so thankful I came. KAT! She is the woman! Been here since the beginning, not only did she give me a history lesson but her humor and amazing customer service made me feel right at home The restaurant itself is set in a old train depot, last train left here in 1971 but they still drive by and honk for KAT! There is an outside patio right by the train tracks and the interior is cozy and comfortable and you can see how it looked when it was an actual waiting room for a train station. Food is amazing, I had the chicken and waffles, tender and juicy and the sugar waffles were done perfectly. This will be my spot every time I'm here. Thank you! read more

Haven't been here in ages! Went to lunch on a Saturday. Ordered the regular burger with fried onions. It was really good. My husband got there Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Not hot at all. More sweet. So not sure why they named it Nashville hot. Wouldn't get that again. Service was good. Very friendly staff. The place has an old train feel to it. I prefer cushioned bench seats. The Spicy Elk burger, in particular, was incredibly delicious - the perfect spice to bring out the flavors without obscuring them. The owner came out and spoke with all the patrons - a very friendly establishment. The history of the site was fascinating - so cool to be part of the Packer's Heritage Trail. Tried the depot again after it being a year since last time. Got a soda with the haddock. Wife for the salmon. The salmon was terrible, extremely over cooked. The haddock was good but very buttery and honestly I am not so sure it was haddock. It was a white fish, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't actually haddock. The green beans were very good and the fries were good. It's a nice place to sit outside and enjoy the weather. I just wish they executed the food better. read more

We were looking for some bottomless mimosas and this place popped up in a search result, so we decided to give it a go. We had to wait for a train to pass to get to the place (quite fitting eh?). The mimosas were quite strong: well made, I'm not sure we totally took advantage of the bottomless, but it was a nice start to a Sunday. I ordered the Monte Carlo, which was amazing. With homemade zucchini bread as the sandwich bread it was a really neat take on a classic breakfast sandwich. It also was just as good when I heated up the leftovers, and I always say you e found something good if it tastes just as good reheated. My partner in crime had the beer mac and cheese with bacon. She let me sample a bit, and it too was also quite good. It's definitely going on my list of places to return to! read more

We had lunch at The Depot and I was so impressed. The food was amazing - highly recommend The Pork Belly, The Nashville Hot Chicken, Brussel sprouts - you couldn't go wrong with anything anyone at the table had. The atmosphere is just as good as the food, very cool building with an incredible amount of history. If you are able to catch a conversation with the owner, Shawn you will not be disappointed. This place deserves a shout out. We were looking for Titletown Brewing's restaurant however, we were told there were new owners with a menu and recipes that were closely similar. My colleague and I tried the Poutine and Burnt ends which were very good. The Poutine doesn't quite hit as well as they do in Quebec however, it was better than anything else I have had West of Wisconsin. The atmosphere was very nice and seemed renovated. I will be returning here if I ever come back to Green Bay. read more

The Depot has a lot of what made Titletown a winner. The old train depot has great ambiance and the new owners really stepped up the Depot theme. The have very tasteful decorations and they retained many Titletown favorites such as the Elk Burger. We were there in October when they were running a daily German food special. We started with a Bavarian Pretzel. The homemade sauces for the warm and salty pretzel were delicious. You don't often see Liver Dumpling Soup on a menu so I had to try it since I do like liver. It was the best. The broth was so rich and tasty and the liver dumplings were the perfect size and texture. I had the tacos which were more that I could eat My wife had the daily special of Sauerbraten, Red Cabbage and Spaetzle. She said it was so good. The service was great. The staff here is very friendly. I usually order the fish and it is always delicious. This is right next to where I live so I frequently this place often I have never had bad service and I like to sit next to the window when I do eat in to look out over the water and the train tracks and sometimes I see the actual train going by which reminds me of when I was a kid. read more

Absolutely in love with this place! My Dad and I were headed to Door County for our trip and we just stopped by in Green Bay for lunch. It didn't take long for us to be seated or for us to get our food. We ordered the poutine as an appetizer and there are no words to describe how amazing it was. The taste of the sauce didn't overpower the cheese curds and fries but rather they enhanced the flavor and it was very filling. My dad ordered their Elk Burger and I ordered their Bacon Brisket Burger. The Elk burger was apparently a bit dry and less flavorful but we're assuming that it's just because of the elk meat and it's nature rather than how the burger was cooked. The Bacon Brisket Burger, however, was absolutely mind blowing. It was delicious and every bite had great flavor. Even when taken for leftovers, it still tasted like it did when I had it in the restaurant. However, that's just my personal experience. In general it was really good and I still wanted to keep eating even when I was full. Overall, I loved this restaurant! I think it was my personal favorite throughout our entire trip. read more

Stay away. This is not owned by titletown anymore. This place used to be a top-tier place in Green Bay, but owner changes have destroyed this place. Stopped in with my wife on a Friday night. Barely anyone there was the first red flag. Next, the table they sat me at was sticky like a bar floor. Now I am nervous, then some servers looked well kept , others looked not as well kept. I am nervous, but I ordered a drink smoked bourbon old fashioned, it was terrible was not muddled, and tasted bad. How do you not Muddlea $10 old fashion? We order our food,I get a brisket burger, and my wife gets the turkey cranberry ( used to be the top sandwich at this place). The burger was bad, and I did not know brisket was supposed to be slimy . The turkey had an odd taste, so we got up, paid the bill, and left. Will never return. This place will be closed in a year, I bet. Before leaving Green bay needed a bite before my drive and couldn't quite decide on a spot. We ended up here because of the menu. Common bar & restaurant setup. I would imagine it gets lively for nightlife and grubbin'. Sat at the bar for an early lunch. I got there at the right time, just before the lunch crowd was starting to fill up the dining area. The bartender gave me the specials and updated me of the items currently sold out. The weekend wiped out all of their most popular. Practically every plate that is considered a bar goer's favorite or what they are known for. That left me with few options. I had three hours of driving ahead of me and eating heavy was not recommended. Ended up with a Green Bay poutine dish with cheese curds and "stout-infused veal demi" let me tell you about this poutine... A guy sat down next to me uber curious what poutine was. Couldn't get him to order his own but maybe next time the curiosity will lure him. Not necessarily a healthy dish but wow was that sauce good. Reading through other reviews it seems ownership here is new and some of the foods may come out of a box or bag. Hope not, if that demi sauce is from a jar, sure would like to know who makes it. That sauce tied that poutine dish together. (If you get it, ask for a serving spoon or ask them to shake it up for you. So that the glace coats everything included in the entree. Had it once there and again on the road. Best when hot and the cheese curds are still "melty." For healthy-sake, enjoyed a couple side salads which hit the spot. Small but when having more than one, satisfying. Service times was slowed. One bartender and a handful working the main floor. The bartender could use a helping hand I think, rather than running back and forth to the kitchen. The time it takes to travel back and forth leaves a wealth of time where customers are getting ancy waiting on their return. Just for the sake of mention, I don't recall seeing any handicap or elderly accessible entrances. The doors into this place can be heavy. A push button for access would help those that would otherwise need help with entering/ exiting. read more

What a fun place. We went there for a quick dinner and when we arrived we were asked if we wanted to hear music on the second floor. We did. Thursday night is music night. Was a fun unexpected treat. Had a shrimp andouille Cajun pasta and fish and chips. Very good and a couple of beers. Need to explore this place a little more unfortunately we had only time to eat and go. Excellent spot! Was Green Bay's original railroad depot! Has dozens of beer on tap and more in bottles! Food is great pub fare, including fried cheese curd, Mac and cheese and flatbreads! The carrot cake was great for dessert! read more
