We had a spring break on our garage door in the middle of the night last night. Called several places and they could not repair the door in a timely manner. Called Pearson Door and they had someone (Ken) at our home within a few hours. Ken was knowledgeable, courteous and quick. He also checked our weatherstrips, controls and safety sensors. Our second experience with Pearson was as splendid as the first one. We called yesterday because we needed a new garage door control panel. Last night when closing my garage door I heard a loud noise that almost sounded like a gunshot. The torsion Spring had snapped causing the door to crash to the ground. At 8:01 this morning I called Pearson doors, spoke with a wonderful person named Lucretia, and at 8:30 this morning their technician was at my door and the repair was completed by 9:15 AM. The technician, named Kyle, was a wonderful young man, well trained in the business, and third generation member of the family. It's wonderful to work with a local business especially those who take such great care of their customers. I highly recommend them for any new or repair work relative to your garage doors. Do Not use this company!! They came to my home a few years ago and put in a door opener for my commercial door on my garage. It wouldn't work maybe 7 months after. I called them and the owner spoke to be like I was a idiot telling me I had something blocking the electronic eyes. I did not! So 7 months later comes out to fix it and charges me for the adjustment. It won't work again few months down the road. Not to mention when they came the 1st time they took down my 1st motor,( which still worked there were other broken parts up top), and took it with them when they left. I told them they could take it down if it was in the way. I didn't say they could take it with them. I now have hired Overhead door to replace the junk, ( Linear opener), that Pearson sold me. Pearson did not have the door spring tightened correctly. Had 13 turns on right side and 9 turns on left side. After Overhead replaced motor they told me that the Pearson motor was not securely attached to overhead beam! Luckly it didn't fall on any person or object! If that had happen Pearson Door Co. would be dealing more than just a bad review. read more

Its interesting only 1 review. Its good to hear it was a good experience. My garage door needs a replacement weatherstrip. Too small of a job (you think)? I spoke with someone about a month ago I'm assuming it was an owner, who told me after giving him information regarding the door and what it needed- was going to call me when they planned to be in the area. I live in Salisbury. I NEVER and I repeat NEVER heard from them. I left a message a couple of weeks ago -it appears this job is too small and you won't be in this area. NEVER did I receive a return call from this message. It was apparent they were not interested in the job. THANKS PEARSON- You saved me some money that someone else deserves to receive. read more
