I recently replaced my AC chain drive garage door opener with a LiftMaster DC belt drive opener (#87504-267). The installers showed up on time and were very professional and I was very pleased with the installation. I can't believe how quiet this garage door opener is. Our bedroom is above our garage and gone are the vibrating floor and rumbling that were associated with the old opener. I can only imagine that the poor reviews here on Yelp are by demanding, unreasonable people, because my experience is 100% positive. I bought a new (to me) house in Canton, and in September 2020 the owner Eric came within a day of my call to give me an estimate for two new garage doors with automatic opener/door lifts. Eric clearly explained all the products available, made a good recommendation I was happy with, and I placed the order with him that same visit. Then, over the course of a 3-month period, I had to delay installation because of hidden problems found in my house, as well as schedule issues with other contractors whose work needed to be completed before the garage doors could go in. Kim, the office manager and also Eric's wife, was understanding and accommodating about this. After many delays on my end, we were finally able to work out a good compromise for the installation date that we both were happy with. I'm very grateful for Kim's patience during this period. Today, right on time, their two technicians, Riley and Ryan came and did the install, dealing with the ice on my steep driveway left over from last week's Nor'easter. They were both extremely professional, knowledgeable--and did a fabulous job. Riley programmed the new door codes with me, explained how each car remote control works, and also explained that there is a phone app I can download to remotely open and close the doors. They had to remove my old, nasty doors, run fresh wires for the new--and install everything. The work they did was beautiful, clean, and nice and tight--no gaps anywhere! And...the doors themselves are gorgeous. This company's estimate was actually a little higher than other bids I received, but I don't go for "least expensive", I listen to my gut. I felt from the very beginning that Eric was the real deal and an honest businessman. And, very tellingly--his competition also told me that, too, as did the other contractors I hired to work on my house. I'm very pleased with Northeast Garage Doors, and highly recommend this company. They advertise 24/7 Emergency service on their website. They said they don't offer that even though it's on their website. My garage door broke last night. I waited until the morning to call but I was told they weren't sending anyone out because of the snow from the previous day. The roads are plowed and my driveway is cleared. They can get to my house and get to my garage. The only reason they're getting 2 stars is because theirs service was good a year ago when they fixed my garage door. read more

I am very happy with the service. When I called to make an appointment, the person I talked to was very pleasant but wouldn't simply let me make an appointment for someone to come out. She asked to check a few things on the chance that it was something that could be reset or fixed at my end with no charge. After we determined that it did require service call she set one up for the following morning. The two service people that showed up were extremely pleasant and professional. In addition to diagnosing and replacing the failed parts, the lubricated of the garage doors not just the one they were working on, plus identify the lubricant they were using so I could do it in the future. They made sure to give me the old parts they had had replaced. The price was reasonable and the service was superb. read more

I called for a garage door opener installation and I had the opener. A tech came out and said that the Genie opener I purchased was of poor quality even though it had good reviews. He recomended I return it and purchase a Chamberland brand opener. I did this and called to schedule a new installation . The day of the installation I received a message that the business does not have any one qualified to install this opener.Either they did not want to install opener or the tech is clueless on what they do install.Not happy with this business, time to exchange opener and wait for install, equals time wasted. read more

They ended up sending their service techs out to me right away and were excellent once we cleared up the confusion.
