It's been a tradition in my family to visit the pebble creek lights for 18 years now! It's a beautiful neighborhood that participates in decorating their homes with characters from movies and creative/epic light displays. You can drive or walk (if you walk your best bet is to park in the shopping center parking lot.) The driving line can get pretty long so keep that in mind :) read more

Its nice, parking is CRAZY all houses are great with the exception of certain houses that have certain political statements and think presidents are kings or should be showcased during a time of joy and peace. But all in all its cool for a nice walk with a hot drink or drive by for a cute little drive. read more

We walk this area every Christmas, we love the Disney theme. There are many houses and great participation. Often you will see them sitting out in the driveway or garage hanging with friends. Some houses sell hot chocolate for $1 as well as baked goods. Some years in the past they have had a mobile food truck and shaved ice truck. One year a house had fake snow "bubbles". The kids love it! We usually park in the Bel Air shopping center and walk the neighborhood. This year we loved the addition of the Coco house and the Pirates of the Caribbean. My toddlers favorite was Paw Patrol and Daniel Tiger. You will also see decorated vehicles driving though as well as bicycles that are lit up and decorated. Everyone walking is friendly and it is fun to listen to the children's excitement about Christmas magic. read more

This is my second year in a row coming to see this neighborhood of Christmas lights and I have to say I'm never left disappointed and always have a great time! This year they had the characters from the new film Coco, the usual Disney characters, Smurfs, my favorite Christmas film How the Grinch Stole Christmas and so much more! I would highly recommend you check out these Christmas lights this holiday season especially with family, last year I walked it and this year with my boyfriend for my birthday we drove through and had a blast naming all the Disney characters! They also sell hot chocolate for $1.00 and have a water well with a sign posted where you can donate canned goods to feed the hungry this holiday season! Go early! We chose to stay in our car and drive around instead of walking around. The cars inched forward slowly, so it may have been faster walking. Most of the houses were decorated and many of the homeowners were hanging outside with fire pits. There were also a few houses with photo stations. After going to Bayside's Christmas lights, I happened to stumble across this. It was a short drive from the Bayside Church. This is one of the best Christmas lights I've seen in Sacramento!! I'm so surprised that this is not more well known. There were many cars lined up with a handful of families walking around. Every house kind of follows a Disney theme, that is just adorable. Themes range from Winnie the Pooh, Entangled, Moana to Sesame Street, Hercules, Spongebob, etc. It is two whole blocks that go all out for Christmas. I will for sure be back next year!!! read more

Since moving here from the bay area, we have been looking for fun places to drive through and see for the holiday season. We were guided here and it does not disappoint. Most houses are decorated with lights and wood character cut outs (mostly Disney-Pixar). The only low rated issues are- cars parked on the street blocking some houses, groups of people walking through and stopping in front of the houses; but is that really such a horrible thing? 2020 was our 2nd year to drive around this neighborhood and can not wait to make a 2nd round with the family!! read more

I must say I have read some of the recent reviews and found them to be a bit overly sensitive. The Pebble Creek/Strand loop is still a great place to see the Christmas decor and lights, my family and friends still enjoy it after all these years...it's a MUST DO! People must keep in mind who are visiting: 1. You don't live on the street, you have NO say on how one chooses to or not decorate their house. 2. You do not pay their electric bill. 3. You do not pay for their decorations. 4. You do not pay ANYTHING to walk or drive through the neighborhood. The people who live on this or any Christmas street do it out of the joy of decorating and seeing the reactions from the visitors of all ages and demographics. They ask nothing from the visitors other than be respectful of their neighborhood, decorations and homes. For those "who" do not enjoy the political decor that has been in-fussed in to the Christmas streets, then like anything, DON'T LOOK! No one invited you to come visit, it is a choice you made, and by doing so you might see something you don't like...grow a pair and get over it. Politics are in-fussed in all that we do now a days thanks to our current administration (#FJB) by dividing our country and creating hate that was never there before. So for the weak-minded, thinned skinned, handout takers, mask wearing zombies, stay home. You get easily offended by any and everything. If a sign and a flag offends you, you might want to reassess yourself before judging others for something you don't pay for. The Christmas spirit is there alive and well, the thick skinned people come on out and visit this and all the other neighborhoods with lights. read more

I have driven thru a couple times each year and will be going again before the year is over. I was only disappointed in one display and that is the one Yelp is showing for the main attraction of this display of lights. Lots of great houses with recognizable characters. We alway enjoy driving slowly through or taking a walk. Sadly this year, 2021, there were many houses not participating. The most I have seen in the past 14 years. The worst part of the experience is the house with disrespectful displays. It's alright. We thought There'd be more variety of lights per house, but there seemed to be a basic theme. Disney characters. However we did enjoy being able to drive around and play Christmas music and enjoy the homes that were super decorated. It's a great way to relax and see Christmas lights for the holidays. If you're looking to be WOWed, not really. It's not bad but nothing too exciting. My 3 year old & twin 1year olds enjoyed it so that made it all worth it. My advise, grab coffee, find your favorite Christmas station and make the most of it. read more

I've been taking the family to Pebble Creek for the Christmas lights for years. Not only is the time and effort that is put into these homes apparent, but the creativity is unbelievable. It's not the same display house to house but each one is unique with different themes, characters and even current events. I would say the highlight this year is the amazing "Let's Go Brandon" house. Let's just say I get the VIP treatment every year because my in-laws live within this neighborhood! Because I attended a holiday party bus that drove us around to 5 different neighborhoods, my opinion is pretty legit when I say Pebble Creek Christmas Lights is probably the best Christmas Light neighborhood and it earns its rep for a reason! The cool thing is that most of the homeowners start decorating or have their set up all ready by December 1st. So you don't need to wait until the week before Christmas to get a glimpse of the beautiful decorations. Of course the busiest days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, starting around 5pm when it begins to get dark. They usually close off the street to have it going just one way so you can enter at Pebble Creek Lane. This helps with traffic and slow down. You also have the option to park your car on a near by street and walk the decorations with your family. Don't forget put it on your holiday list to visit this neighborhood's Christmas decor, next year! read more
