It's been a tradition in my family to visit the pebble creek lights for 18 years now! It's a beautiful neighborhood that participates in decorating their homes with characters from movies and creative/epic light displays. You can drive or walk (if you walk your best bet is to park in the shopping center parking lot.) The driving line can get pretty long so keep that in mind :)

We walk this area every Christmas, we love the Disney theme. There are many houses and great participation. Often you will see them sitting out in the driveway or garage hanging with friends. Some houses sell hot chocolate for $1 as well as baked goods. Some years in the past they have had a mobile food truck and shaved ice truck. One year a house had fake snow "bubbles". The kids love it! We usually park in the Bel Air shopping center and walk the neighborhood. This year we loved the addition of the Coco house and the Pirates of the Caribbean. My toddlers favorite was Paw Patrol and Daniel Tiger. You will also see decorated vehicles driving though as well as bicycles that are lit up and decorated. Everyone walking is friendly and it is fun to listen to the children's excitement about Christmas magic.

So cute santa and a penguin with a top hat!

This is my second year in a row coming to see this neighborhood of Christmas lights and I have to say I'm never left disappointed and always have a great time! This year they had the characters from the new film Coco, the usual Disney characters, Smurfs, my favorite Christmas film How the Grinch Stole Christmas and so much more! I would highly recommend you check out these Christmas lights this holiday season especially with family, last year I walked it and this year with my boyfriend for my birthday we drove through and had a blast naming all the Disney characters! They also sell hot chocolate for $1.00 and have a water well with a sign posted where you can donate canned goods to feed the hungry this holiday season! Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

After going to Bayside's Christmas lights, I happened to stumble across this. It was a short drive from the Bayside Church. This is one of the best Christmas lights I've seen in Sacramento!! I'm so surprised that this is not more well known. There were many cars lined up with a handful of families walking around. Every house kind of follows a Disney theme, that is just adorable. Themes range from Winnie the Pooh, Entangled, Moana to Sesame Street, Hercules, Spongebob, etc. It is two whole blocks that go all out for Christmas. I will for sure be back next year!!!

We have been going to this location for many years. A vast majority of the homes put a lot of effort into their displays and it shows. It is fun to drive or walk with some "hot chocolate" in your cup. I love the "Let's go Brandon" in lights too. Keep it going!!! We drove through it this year but will likely hit it up with friends and walk it one more time.

    The "Trump House" never disappoints!

It was really cool when she began making out with her girlfriend while they sat in between each other's legs/on laps. My favorite part was when their boyfriend showed up and joined them. All three of them rubbing and kissing. Then into the pool they went and the underwater petting began. It was great. Who knew Thunder was so open to community-led sex ed! We stayed from 10am to 7 pm. We saw several waitresses going to all the cabanas and the loungers throughout the day. Can you guess how many times we were visited by a waitress in the 9 hours we were there? Zero! I didn't know if I should feel it was racism or what but we were never asked if we wanted something from the bar or from the kitchen. We had to get up each time and walk to the bar ourselves. I also ordered from the kitchen and we had to get up and go to the bar and pick it up ourselves. There were delivery guys who would deliver food from the kitchen to other patrons but when it came to us, we had to do it all ourselves. I'm not sure how to feel about the entire situation. Everything else was great but the whole experience put a huge damper on things.

My Gawd, Crazy Fun Time If Looking For Something....You'd NEVER Do Again!…read more SITREP Okay, I KID, I KID! But I have to say that after we left iFly and were heading for an after-party at the Almond Tree Lounge (Almond), the LAST thing I expected to be doing was Line-Dancing! THE SETUP In fact, it's a little misleading to be calling this a "lounge" if you are looking for a QUIET, chill place to relax, and regroup, and catch up with friends (without having to YELL). Well, be-that-as-it-may, the Almond was a wild-ass fun time, even if it exploded into my face like a GIANT FRIENDLY FART! (You know what I'm saying?) ;) Mad Props to uber-Yelper John H. for organizing this fest-of-fun and making it so convenient for us to hit after the iFly Yelp Elite Event (YEE)! DANCING! First off, when you enter the Almond, you are walking RIGHT PAST the band and then the dance floor, so it's impossible to be discreet about your entrance: all-eyes-on-YOU! But the dance floor is big and smooth (no potholes) and fun to dance on! I even got to uber-Elite Lucy out there for some Country-Western Swing and we had a great time. THE DRINKS! OH my GAWD! Sometimes you have to order a specific drink (like when I'm in Spokane, or Bishop, or Coeur d'Alene ) that is calle the "mind-eraser" to make sure it's packing a wallop! NOPE. Not here! I simply ordered a standard Jack & Coke, and that puppy was able to put me on my ass (I THINK the coke was added merely to get a BIT of coloring in the glass!) And the Alex L. and Maria & Scott were getting shots for peeps! Crazy pineapple thingies and jager shots - the mind WAS erasing away...... (Seriously, I was glad I was not driving). THE FOOD Nothing really to write home about. Our table got 2 pizzas - a cheese and a pepperoni. *munch munch munch* And as we were munching, I said to Alex L., "tastes like Red Baron." *munch munch munch* Alex looked far off, and then came back, "Digiorno?" We laughed. Point was made. But honestly, in the end when going for drinks late at night, the food is inconsequential. THE LOWDOWN Great time to spend with iFlyers, Yelp-friends, Romans, and Countrymen, in a fun honky-tonk environment in Roseville, off-the-Sacto-grid (for a change!).

What a cool little divey jivey place. Almond tree. There's food here and it mostly looked good. The pizza was tasty. And cheap. Alex L bought us pineapple upside down cake shots but only for girls, and Maria bought us pizza. What did we do to deserve this?!?! Yelp is cool.

Its small-town charm is likely why movies like Rocky and Bullwinkle, Breakdown, Wisdom, and xXx had scenes shot here, but the town relates most to the 1996 John Travolta movie Phinome Phenomin Phenomm Look Who's Talking. The guy who discovered gold here in 1849 was memorialized by Ken Fox with a 45-ton concrete (rebar and wire mesh) statue at the entrance of Old Town.
