Recently stopped by this location for dinner with the family. We had reservations for a party of 10 and were seated about 5 - 10 minutes after arriving which was great. The service was really good, especially considering we had a larger group. Our server did a great job making sure everyone was taken care of. I ordered the chicken parmigiana with pasta and sauce, my son got the kids meal, and my wife had a pasta dish. The salad and bread were also really good. The Old Spaghetti Factory isn't a high-end restaurant, but I've always been a fan. It's a great place for a casual family dinner, and our experience was great from start to finish. It's been quite a while since I've left a review for this Old Spaghetti Factory location. This particular store holds a special place in our hearts as we have celebrated many occasions here with different family members over the years. This visit I made a reservation several days in advance. Party of six at 6:30 pm. We arrived just a few minutes before our scheduled time, checked in and waited. And waited... and waited some more. Around 6:50 I asked the manager on duty whether they were going to be able to seat us soon. The manager was polite, apologetic, and explained that they were busier than they had anticipated. Just before 7:00 pm, we were seated. After about five to ten minutes our server arrived and introduced himself. We received our beverages and bread very shortly thereafter, followed by soups and salads. Dinners were then served and were good, as they usually are. Beverages were not kept filled and we had to ask for refills a number of times. We had also requested crushed red pepper and had to remind the server. The potential exists for this location to receive four or five star ratings, but management needs to work with staff to offer better care for patrons, both with regard to reservation management and general food serving standards. One other comment, this one is corporate related, I lost thousands of loyalty points at the beginning of the year because I hadn't used them. I believe this is a change to the program, as I never lost points in prior years and enjoyed receiving various perks for supporting the business. Just FYI - use 'em or lose 'em. I haven't been a big fan of The Old Spaghetti Factory for almost two decades. I felt like the last few times I had dined in, the flavor of the food was like opening a can of spaghetti-o's. Or a jar of Alfredo sauce... it had zero appeal to me.. that has changed. I think the restaurant itself is gorgeous. The Old Spaghetti Factory is like the size of a 2 story house with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms... ok, ok, maybe bigger, but as a child, I can remember wanting to go out to eat here. I think the building is stunning, especially on the inside and it feels like you are walking into someone's home. It is all wood trimmed, wooden floors, wooden banister... Is it weird that there is a smell in here? Not a bad smell, but familiar and it has lingered inside of this restaurant for 20+ years. It makes me feel nostalgic... As of today, I am a fan of the Chicken Picatta. This dish comes with angel hair pasta topped with browned butter and mizithra cheese, and chicken breast topped with a medley of butter, lemon, capers, shallots, and tomatoes. The garlic cheese bread is probably one of my favorite garlic breads to order from anywhere. It is unfortunately served with COLD marinara. Like... why?? Why am I going to dip hot cheesy garlic bread into COLD marinara?? So we just don't use it. Today, my client and I ordered online through my account. When you first sign up, you receive a free cheesy garlic bread. We like ordering online because you earn points to receive free items on their menu. We each ordered a Chicken Picatta, and one chicken parmigiano. I think every meal comes with salad and their most popular dressing is their pesto ranch. Complimentary sourdough bread comes with meals as well. It looks like they serve 1/2 a loaf per person... at least that is how it is for togo. What I don't like about ordering online is that there isn't anywhere to substitute for a different pasta. For example, the chicken parmigiano comes with spaghetti noodles, but we like angel hair noodles. There also isn't a section to order an extra side of sauce. So I did walk in and explain that I was putting an order in and needed substitutions. They were happy to substitute noods for me! The women working at the togo area are always pleasant. The bartender is fun to sit and talk with while I wait for my order. I waited almost 40 minutes today for our order, but I was enjoying my company, so I didn't mind. It's so fresh, but the knives are not sharp enough to cut the bread easily. We didn't come on a good night I guess. It was 1.5 hours until closing. Waited 20 minutes to sit with no one else waiting. After our party leader complained we were placed in the empty bar area away from anyone else. At first it was nice but then the wait happened. We called ahead to make reservations for our large party & even asked about dairy free/ gluten free options for one of the kiddos. They were very understanding. We were seated at a great big table by the window & our server was nice & friendly. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon & we were thankful it wasn't very busy or noisy. We went when they were having some anniversary special & prices on certain items were rolled back. They had a special menu for the event, but they still had their usual soup or salad w/ entree, yummy bread to start, & spumoni or vanilla ice cream for dessert. I love their garlic mizithra pasta w/ Italian sausage on the side! The next best meal at our table was the Potpourri, which is a plate of 4 different pastas & different sauces. NOT HAVE AGAIN: The mizithra sauce was just too salty and not all that good. PROBLEMS: Sadly, our server appeared to have too many tables and was not at all attentive. The drinks and salad came right away. But no bread. I had to ask for it. Hard to understand why the adults food would come first and the kids had to wait a few minutes for theirs. After drinking their apple juice, the kids were very thirsty. We asked three time for water for them but finally had to go to the bar to get water for them. Short staffed as someone called out. Service was exceptionally slow reflecting that, but consieriderimg it was the hostess' first day as a server being forced into that role it wasn't so bad. I tried something new this time instead of my go to.... I ordered the mushroom stuffed ravioli with cream sauce and sautéed mushrooms on top. It was tasty, but small portion compared to what they used to serve. Also the salads are basic iceberg salad mixes right out of the bag, no longer served with tomato, croutons, or cheese. I came in this evening for a night out with my sisters. They both prefer gluten free but we have a love for pasta. It was so easy looking through the menu to find options for them. We ordered two manager's specials as hearty with the mizithra cheese and browned butter pasta and the rich meat sauce pasta. Delicious. It was waaaayyy more than enough food. The pasta classics come with a salad or soup, your entree then a scoop of ice cream (I love the spumoni). Our waiter truly made the experience. His name was Jesse. He was kind and humorous. He made sure all of our needs were met. He never let our drinks stay empty and moved with intention throughout the restaurant. It was a busy Friday night but we were taken care of. The restaurant is a little dark so it's difficult for pictures. I captured a few mid meal ad an afterthought. It's a cute and quaint spot that is verrrryyy family and large group friendly. There was something strange that I noticed. There was a pitcher of water placed near the bucket they used to clear tables. This was concerning because I did see a busser bring a rag to dip into the bucket and I thought that was verrrryyy close to the water pitcher. My family had a great visit at The Old Spaghetti Factory on Easter Sunday and it reminded me why we keep coming back. The food is always solid. It has that familiar, comforting flavor, and you know exactly what you're going to get in the best way. It was pretty busy. At one point we had questions about our bill and the OSF app , and Cass , the manager, stepped in right away. She was super attentive, handled it quickly, and made sure we were taken care of. She checked in later to make sure everything was perfect which it was. What stood out the most was how Cass treats both guests and staff with respect. As someone who worked in the industry, you can tell she actually cares, and that kind of leadership really shows in the whole vibe of the restaurant! The bartender ( our server ) Ally was so sweet and you could tell she knew the menu really well. The service felt personal and thoughtful. She answered all our questions and even offered good recommendations!! It's clear the whole staff really cares about making guests feel welcome, and it makes our experience at The Old Spaghetti Factory even better. We love OSF and have been too many locations loving the food & service. We made a pit stop before heading to Hard Rock. We arrived on a Saturday at 5:45 before the evening crowd showed up. Hostess informed us it would be a 10 minute wait and took out name/number. Once it was our turn, we were able to set in the cute train. It's small but has character. Our waitress saw us within us glancing at the menus and said "welcome I'll be right back". When she return in a jiffy, she introduced herself as Emily and gave us the speel of recommendations. Despite it being a busy loud full night, she made sure our water was filled, plates cleared and if we needed anything else. As for the other reviews, yes everything has gone up except one' salary, that's the current climate. I had an extremely frustrating experience primarily due to poor management of wait times and unprofessional behavior from the hostess staff. We initially attempted to make a reservation online but were unable to because the restaurant does not accept reservations within the hour. When we called we were told that the wait time for a party of nine would be 20-25 minutes, so we decided to come in. Upon arrival and checking in, we were again told the wait would be 20-25 minutes. That time came and went, then 35 minutes passed, with no update, apology, or acknowledgment from the hostess. After checking back in, we were told it would be another 15-20 minutes. Once again, that estimate was inaccurate. When we asked for clarification, we were informed that we had been "assigned" to a table that still had a full party seated and that they could not seat us elsewhere--even if another table became available--because we were tied to that one table. We were also told they could not move the current party until their two-hour time limit was up. Throughout this entire process, the hostess was dismissive, inaccurate, unapologetic, and openly rude. Every question we asked was met with glares, short responses, and a clear lack of professionalism. Despite repeatedly walking past us in the lobby, she never once provided an update or checked in on our wait. Eventually, another staff member was sent to check on the table. The party left shortly after, but that did not resolve the issue. We then waited an additional 10-15 minutes while the table was being cleaned. The cleaning process was incredibly slow, to the point where we had to ask multiple times for an update. Ultimately, a manager had to step in because of how long it was taking. From the moment the previous party left, it took 25 minutes just to prepare the table. In total, we waited over an hour and 25 minutes after being told our wait would only be 20-25 minutes. During this time, multiple parties were seated, ate, and left before we were even seated. Once we finally sat down, our waitress was great and very helpful--but that does not make up for the extremely poor front-of-house management and lack of basic communication. Accurate wait times, professionalism, and simple courtesy should be the bare minimum. This experience showed a clear lack of organization, accountability, and respect for guests' time. I would not recommend this location for large parties, or anyone who expects honest communication and basic customer service. read more

I always loved the spaghetti factory but the one near me closed several years ago :( we were passing the area and looking for somewhere to eat so we called ahead 30 min and were able to put our names down for a reservation. I love how the meals come with a soup/salad & dessert. I remember always liking the minestrone but after trying it again, I prefer the salad with creamy pesto dressing. I always order the mizithra and maybe I like it mostly because it's nostalgic for me but my bf got the garlic mizithra and he also liked it (he didn't grow up eating it) I'm not sure if it's new but they also offer a larger portion for ~$5 or extra sauce as well but I thought that was a nice option. We always have to end off with spumoni which is always so good and as I've gotten older, I can appreciate the flavors more. Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing and turned a special evening into a frustrating one. We spent $119.30, but the level of service did not come close to matching that. After our food was delivered, our server, Anna, never returned to check on us. We were not offered water, drink refills, or even asked how our meals were. My daughter ordered a drink and was never checked on for a refill. When my two-year-old son needed water after eating, I asked our server for water, but she never came back. We eventually had to ask another server just to get water. What made this especially frustrating was watching our server walk by our table multiple times while actively serving surrounding tables. At one point, she even took time to show something on her phone to guests at another table, while we couldn't get basic necessities like water or straws. My wife later spoke with the manager on duty, Jason, hoping the situation would be handled with some care. Unfortunately, his response lacked empathy and concern. There was no apology or attempt to make the situation right, which only added to the disappointment. This was supposed to be a birthday celebration, and instead it left us frustrated and let down. Given that this was not our first time dining here, the experience was even more surprising. Ordered extra mizithra on one (no different than any one else's plate, yet paid extra). Ordered a side of broccoli, and it was cold. Even the bread (I swear), the recipe has changed--it didn't even taste like sourdough--just bready. What is going on? Been going to the Spaghetti Factory for 40+ years, but, now, I'm not so sure we will return. Was this an off-night or the new normal? Very sad and disappointing that the quality has gone down. I've been going to this location for nearly 30 years. My family went last Saturday for my mother's birthday (it's one of her favorite spots, probably mostly for sentimental reasons). Anyways, the service was great, but the food was terrible. I always order the chicken parmigiana. The plate came out and the chicken was half the size of what it normally is (actually made us all laugh it was just so sad looking) and the amount of spaghetti was doubled. Then, I bit into the chicken breast and it was full of gristle. Everyone else's food was mixed between bad and just okay. This was our worst experience at the OSF (food-wise) to date. The prices have also gone up, but the quality of the food... not so much. I get the feeling they're trying to cut costs. Even their ice cream scoops were half the size of a normal scoop. I'll gladly pay more if the food is still good, so hopefully they course-correct or we won't be coming back. read more
