Charges more than DOUBLE $$$ than the USPS for flat rate envelope shipping. Drive a couple of miles down the road to the real post office!

Have used this postal service location for 13yrs. Owner/operator is ALWAYS friendly, professional, accurate, gives great suggestions for mailing. We have boxed, she has boxed, priority mailed passports, Xmas gifts, online shopping returns, etc. Mailed by UPS, FedEx, USPS. If go there 10a-2p, usually no lines & open 6days/wk. Worst service and they CHARGE for just leaving a box to have the post office pick up. I have dropped boxes at dozens of other places and none charge for this service that's the craziest thing I've ever heard and a terrible customer service practice. I routinely spend money on shipping supplies for my business at these shops, so charging to leave a package and loosing the income potential is not a good business practice. Owner was rude as well and even though I called to make sure they accepted usps packages I was never told of the fees for this until I arrived, at which point she said well you didn't ask if I charged?! Terrible!!!!! I took a package over there to be delivered in which the package was double boxed and nicely packaged. When the package arrived at its location it was so damaged that it it is returned to me. Don't use this post office. read more

My first experience at PG Postal was pleasant. I was dropping off a single package for USPS pick up and purchased a polymailer to package it in. Was able to leave it for pickup no problem, no extra charges. Second time i came in, i brought three similar packages for USPS pick up that were all pre-packaged and ready to go. The employee informed me that she would have to charge me $1 per package to drop off. I didn't understand why i would have to pay a fee to drop off packages just like i had done days earlier for free, so i left and went to QuickDrop Mail on 99 and easily dropped them off with no extra fees. Looks like from the other reviews it is common for PG Postal to charge to drop off packages when you aren't buying any of their supplies, which is unfortunate. read more

I love PG Postal. The lady is very helpful and always cheerful. She even once sent my box off and let me come back and pay because I forgot my wallet at home. I have not had a negative experience since I've been going there that past few years. Love it! read more

Worst customer service. Lazy ppl who don't believe in delivering packages the second time. Really? What do you get paid for.

Dropped off a prepaid ups box, was charged to drop it off. There's a ups drop off box a little down 359. Go there.

Dont come by here much, usually only when i need to fax something or dont feel like going to the Post Office. If i need UPS i go to the UPS store not far away. Ladies have always been friendly and even gave me a call letting me know my fax went through. read more

If you make it all the way to the counter in this place after the overpowering stench of patchouli incense hits you right in your nose holes, I salute you, sir. I have occasionally, facing no other postal options, made it to the counter to drop off packages. Once I was able to drop it and run, but that was a fluke. This is the only postal store that makes you fill out a form to leave a fully postaged package. I usually just try to hold my breath while frantically scribbling down my tracking number on the form they insist I fill out and sign. Today was the last straw when the lady at the counter told me I'd have to PAY to drop off my package that already had full postage paid on it because she doesn't, "work for the postal service." read more

I wonder why this place is in business, still? I have tried to drop off a prepaid UPS package and was told she does not accept such. Then, another time, I tried to drop of a prepaid USPS, and again, she does not accept such and she could only mail them if the postage is paid inside her store. Are you kidding me?? I believe I tried a third time and ended up getting no service again. I will never go back. This lady is by far the worst customer service oriented person I have ever encountered. There is another store like that in Katy, near Capital One and Target, that is owned by a very sweet Indian lady...I much rather take my business to her. She is professional, willing to accommodate and courteous. To the lady at Pecan Grove store - do the business world a favor and sell it or move. Walked into PG Postal and was greeted nicely, store smells great & the ladies that worked there actually knew what they were doing! needed help shipping out of the country & they gave me plenty of options and helped me to save a good amount of money!! Not even deserve to receive one star. Worst customer service you would get. Indian lady try to tell you what to do because she can't type or spell English. Ask customer to type for her and slow and gave wrong information. Try to leave because didn't get what I need and took 15 min and start arguing with me and other customer. Doesn't know how do her job and start yelling due to lack of her knowledge. I won't ever use them again. read more

Owner is rude and services are overpriced. To make copies you can go to the nearby Randalls and save 33% per copy. Sometimes I get a package all fixed up at home and drop it at her place, just for UPS/USPS pickup. The owner absolutely detests it, why: she doesn't get to charge anything for it! Somebody needs to tell them a little goodwill goes a long, long way. I support small businesses in my community, but go out of my way to avoid Pecan Grove Postal. read more

I have been dealing with this business for many years and I have nothing but good things to say about their service and customer friendliness. We have never lost a package that was shipped from their store. The convenience is very important and I am willing to pay a little more for saving gas to drive farther away. read more
