I made a few calls, spoke with Pat and was able to arrange a drop off and pick up after the concert for a great price for my cousin and myself. He also had hip surgery about the same time as me, but he's on his game, he even tap dances in Little Italy on Saturdays at the Farmers Market. Super rude, super sketchy, and honestly embarrassing for the company. If this is how your drivers act, you've got a serious problem. We're definitely reporting this to the city because people like this shouldn't be working events or dealing with customers at all. Stay away unless you want to get hustled and yelled at.

It all started by needing to get to the Rady Shell to see a Bob Dylan concert in less than a half hour. We were parked near a downtown hotel. Waving one of their magically lit transporters to our block, a pedicab pulled up. Negotiated & was quoted a reasonable $40 for 2 passengers. Haha thought they would have to pedal manually! Nope it was electric so we took off like a speeding bullet. Make sure you are safely buckled in before taking off. They are ultra fast & efficient. Glided easily through traffic & bike lanes. Music blared which added to the exhilarating joy, fun & laughter throughout the ride. Struck with awe to the degree of knowledge & dexterity of our driver. Maneuvered easily through traffic & tight spaces. Although the Bob Dylan concert was lackluster this ride made up for it. Leaving the Rady Shell (A++) venue at night it was easier to spot these with multiple brightly lit pedicabs lined up scenically beside the waterfront. The first pedicab wanted $100! No way, are you kidding? All the wiser from our first ride. Went with a second night pedicab driver who offered $50. However this second driver did not seem as concerned about our safety as the previous day driver so it was a little riskier which made it a tad scary. Can hardly wait to use this service again. This was far more exciting than the actual Bob Dylan concert itself. It is now my preferred method of transport in San Diego.

She gave us tips on what to see/do in SD and offered to make side trips. I wish I'd gotten her name (her sister is also a pedicabber) because the whole experience, my first pedicab ride was so enjoyable in the cool evening air! It was so much nicer than riding in a taxi with a cabbie who pretty much ignores you. You often have a choice of pedicabbers, we decided to forgo the guy engrossed in a phone conversation for the next driver in line because she looked friendlier. Good choice on us!

We literally went from the Embassy Suites by the Bay just a couple blocks away to Broadway Pier to catch a dinner cruise. The cost was $30 per person, costing us $60 for a 6 minute bike ride. More so, these bicycle drivers used to truly earn their pay with the energy they expended, nowadays they use e-bikes, requiring much less physical activity. I will say though, the driver was very friendly and easy to talk to. If we were not in a time crunch to get on on a boat, I would have checked with other private owned pedicabs or a taxi.

It was such a great idea .the early…read morebird special was well worth it . 1 hr wouldn't have been enough time to truly see the sights . I thought the demonstration was overwhelming and I would I loved some time to practice before getting out there . But my husband drove so that made it a non issue . The workers were kind , helpful and fun even took our photos. I would recommend if you run cold , wear sunglasses . put a blanket on your lap, wear a jacket and my husband would recommend wearing gloves when driving .There was a missing cup holder in our car so we needed to stuff our water near the back. There is a trunk which was nice and you can unplug the cars gps if you want to stop and walk around but our gps had a hard time reconnecting but when we called they were able to walk us through . The gps was a little delayed sometimes . But those cookies that were listed on the route from uncle Bill's killer cookies was amazing . Mine were fresher from the oven so would def recommend them.
