I had hip replacement surgery in April and knew the walk to Rady Shell was too far. I made a few calls, spoke with Pat and was able to arrange a drop off and pick up after the concert for a great price for my cousin and myself. He also had hip surgery about the same time as me, but he's on his game, he even tap dances in Little Italy on Saturdays at the Farmers Market. Pat was great to communicate with, friendly, and made my concert experience so pleasant. Call Pat first, you won't be disappointed!!!

It was such a great idea .the early…read morebird special was well worth it . 1 hr wouldn't have been enough time to truly see the sights . I thought the demonstration was overwhelming and I would I loved some time to practice before getting out there . But my husband drove so that made it a non issue . The workers were kind , helpful and fun even took our photos. I would recommend if you run cold , wear sunglasses . put a blanket on your lap, wear a jacket and my husband would recommend wearing gloves when driving .There was a missing cup holder in our car so we needed to stuff our water near the back. There is a trunk which was nice and you can unplug the cars gps if you want to stop and walk around but our gps had a hard time reconnecting but when we called they were able to walk us through . The gps was a little delayed sometimes . But those cookies that were listed on the route from uncle Bill's killer cookies was amazing . Mine were fresher from the oven so would def recommend them.

Follow the rout of the colour your package is. Otherwise you will be lost in the city and will have to go around all the pin points :S And after some hours you will be very tired. So stick to the plan :) Sun is super strong on your arms and neck so be sure to wear sunblock! Usually traffic is very patient with scooters but coming back was something because big streets are used by people on a hurry hahaha. I mean one car was honking at us as if the cycle was going to be faster. Just kept our cool and let him go through. We were on vacation mood after all ;) My only concern was that I forgot to take pics of us in the scooter!! So take them before ;) haha and taking pics during the ride wasn't an option for me because you have to follow rules as if you were driving a car (just not go on freeways). So stopping for photos was just stressing. We decided to keep going as the clock was ticking and we had to get back the scooters.

It all started by needing to get to the Rady Shell to see a Bob Dylan concert in less than a half hour. We were parked near a downtown hotel. Waving one of their magically lit transporters to our block, a pedicab pulled up. Negotiated & was quoted a reasonable $40 for 2 passengers. Haha thought they would have to pedal manually! Nope it was electric so we took off like a speeding bullet. Make sure you are safely buckled in before taking off. They are ultra fast & efficient. Glided easily through traffic & bike lanes. Music blared which added to the exhilarating joy, fun & laughter throughout the ride. Struck with awe to the degree of knowledge & dexterity of our driver. Maneuvered easily through traffic & tight spaces. Although the Bob Dylan concert was lackluster this ride made up for it. Leaving the Rady Shell (A++) venue at night it was easier to spot these with multiple brightly lit pedicabs lined up scenically beside the waterfront. The first pedicab wanted $100! No way, are you kidding? All the wiser from our first ride. Went with a second night pedicab driver who offered $50. However this second driver did not seem as concerned about our safety as the previous day driver so it was a little riskier which made it a tad scary. Can hardly wait to use this service again. This was far more exciting than the actual Bob Dylan concert itself. It is now my preferred method of transport in San Diego.

The drivers are hospitable, attentive, knowledgeable, and entertaining. As if the sights aren't enough the history lessons behind it all is fantastic. The ability to hop on and off is brilliant. Great way to check out San Diego! Definitely start early in the AM and get off the trolley at Coronado island and take a walk around and then take another trolley to Balboa Park and spend your time getting your fill of everything it has to offer. Then take your last trolley back. You won't be sorry.

The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a balcony. My only two complaints about the hotel are that the building's HVAC seemed overwhelmed by the heat - outside in the hallways was muggy and the interior of our room never got below 71 degrees. Additionally, they did not do a good job of providing information about where pools/amenities/etc are located at check in - if you are going to charge a resort fee, I expect someone to at least tell me what is included and where/how to access it. Overall, a good stay in San Diego and up to the standard expected.

With the renovations once you walk into the right you have the lobby and it's a big open space. We decided to book one of the renovated rooms since we wanted to see how they came out. The renovated rooms are in a separate tower so you have to walk around. I remember from last time there used to be a place that has seafood as the restaurant now you have a brewery. They also have a market like most hotels just beware that the prices are very high. They have a bar that plays music. I'm going to get over the weekends at night. They have two pools the main pool is right when you go outside from the main entrance. If you keep walking to the right, you will eventually get to the second pool which is by the New room rooms. The renovated rooms look nicer and newer with keeping the same beach vibe aesthetic. We had a beautiful view out of a balcony that had two chairs and a small table. We had a clear view to the Marina and the yoga classes in the morning. The restroom was on the smaller side, but it had everything you needed. The room itself was comfortable and enough. Overall, we would stay at this property again because of the location and convenience of having so many things on site. San Diego Diego has a parking issue and getting an Uber from here is easy and not expensive. The staff was super friendly and offered us more water when we asked for some bottled water. They also have refilling water stations at the gym and in other areas. The gym is surprisingly big and has everything you need.

There were also water bowls throughout for the dogs, and even some tennis balls as we checked in. After the Yoga class, we were able to enjoy their normal happy hour with discounted drinks and food, along with some food options for the dogs. It was such a fun event, and looking forward to attending more of these in the future.

I knew about this party for over a month. I was so looking forward to having great tropical drinks at the pool during the party. I don't often get to drink tropical drinks, so this was a big treat for me.Sadly these overpriced drinks were weak and tasted watered down. Also our cabana server helped himself to a four dollar tip after the first drink he served me .Damon brought me my piña colada took my card and then grab the machine back and entered the tip. I looked at my bank statement. He took a four dollar tip. Imagine how disappointed I was when the drink I had was one of the worst drinks I've ever had plus I got hustled out of a higher tip than I would've given him. Retrain your bartenders, get some honest servers and this place could actually be a fun hotel.
