Henry and his Pedicab are great! When you see him taking riders around the Gaslamp and Seaport Village and other places in San Diego, they always look very happy! My friend and I had a wonderful experience, for which we are eternally grateful. We went for dinner and a stroll in Little Italy, and by the time we'd finished walking around, we weren't able to find her car, even though we thought remembered where we'd parked it. We'd been walking up down streets in the dark, to the point where we were getting a little nervous. Henri was going by, and stopped, and when he heard about our dilemma, bragged that he could find any parked car anywhere. He was right! I road with Henry tonight. Met him after our dinner. Visiting with my family And we hopped in for a ride. I'll agree there are much cheaper ways to travel, but I wasn't looking for an A to B ride. Henry made it special for me and my family. We took a tour to little Italy, midway and around Gaslamp. Very fun way to see the city. Henry stopped to take what photos I don't think we would have taken ourselves. He was knowledgeable and pointed out some great places to eat and things to see. My Kids (8 & 10) had a great time. We recieved a ride from one of your drivers sunday Aug 4th after leaving an event at the rady shell around 10:30 pm We agreed on $40 for a ride to gaslamp district. A transaction was posted to my account in the amount of $348.. SDPEDXX was posted yesterday This is outrageous . I am filing a complaint with the port of san diego. The driver was Ukrainian. Hell to the no, I do not recommend these crooks to anyone! While I stayed in San Diego for a work training I decided to check out a few places while I was here in SD. 1 night I decided to do some bar hopping & as I was about to request an Uber I saw this bicycle guy & I said if he'd be able to take me to a bar that was 2 blocks away, & he said, " Yes, get in". Mind you I was already a little intoxicated & we did not discuss price. I had been on a pedi cab in the past in Mexico City & they charge same as the cabs over there so I thought it wouldn't be too pricey. When I got in I requested a song which was, "Watching You" by Slave this song is 4 minutes & 42 seconds long. We got to the destination I wanted to go to way before the song ended. I'd say in 3 minutes we got to the spot I wanted to go to. I would've walked it, but I was flying solo & Gaslamp has a lot of sketchy characters at night. Who would've known the pedi cab driver would've been a sketchy person too. When we arrived at my destination he charged me $50! for a less than 5 minute ride. I was & still am appalled by the ridiculous price & asked him if he was serious & he proceeded to tell me that what I pay for is for the experience. Man pardon my language but a big "F U" to this shiesty business. I told him I wasn't paying $50 for a less than 5 minute ride & he dropped it to $40. The bar I went to was getting close to last call so I paid him & he said he'd give me a discount if I requested another ride. I sure a hell didn't request another ride. I just Ubered back to where I was staying at & Uber charged me $12. Avoid these crooks & use Uber instead this was not worth the cost at all. CROOKS read more

I got scammed. If you also got scammed, tell the San Diego port authority--pedicabs@portauthority.com The law says that they have to agree on the price before the trip. The little signs don't cut it, obviously no one would agree to that price. The port authorities want to shut down the shady characters so the legit pedicabs can continue to operate. And it kind of makes San Diego look bad if we openly allow this kind of predatory practice to continue. read more

These guys are crooks. The pricing sheet was posted under the seat. We went 2 blocks and they charged us $128. I appreciate that I did not ask them the cost when I got in, but that is insane. Do not ride the pedicabs. When I asked how much to our destination.5 miles away he said I'll get you there for a few dollars. When we arrived at my vehicle .5 miles away he charged us $50. That's way more than a few dollars. I didn't feel like arguing so I agreed to pay, and signed with 0 tip. When I got the confirmation email he added a $20 tip. I paid $70 for a .5 mile trip. Do not ride with the driver named Ramon Al Sahar - The initial quote states $20-$40 per person but ride cost us $200. We didn't feel like arguing so just paid and went on our way. However, please keep in mind that these drivers lease the pedicabs and have Zero oversight. This was the explanation given to me by the ownership... If your going to use a pedicap driver use VIP Pedicab... When I looked them up they have oversight on standard rates and policy. read more

He charged us $40 per person for the first block. And then he said he doesn't take credit card even though the sign shows they accept credit card. read more

I'm using urban pedicabs service from time to time, especially when my friends coming in town. They are always excited about it because you can get a nice tour around. Last weekends, we called urban pedicabs and ordered 3 pedicabs to tour us around the city, we got the best deal for one hour tour. Very fair and reasonable. $260 for a half hour ride? Prices were not well listed and the driver told us we had taken 6 rides because we went around the block 6 times. The number I called on the receipt doesn't work. I will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau. read more
