They have been kind and friendly. The course is fine to me, kept clean and mowed. They have been remodeling the bathrooms and the men's room was not open and they had to use a porta-potty outside. Other than that, the inside was fine looking. There is no "beer cart" that goes around, so that is a negative. There is only one bathroom during the 9 hole course (you hit it twice during the course) but it's early on when you start. I don't like that bc usually when you start the course, I haven't drunken enough to need to use it. ;-) It's an okay course to try, especially if your not a pro golfer like myself. Not a lot of ppl there and pretty easy holes.

I played 18 holes here for the first time two days ago and I really enjoyed this course. There is a clubhouse that serves drinks and food. They also have a "beer cart" that drives around. I like that bc I needed more ice for my cooler and for my drinks. The bathrooms are located on hole 4 and 13, so plan your potty breaks. The course was very nice, well laid out. The green was cut short and the course was kept up. There are some serious golfers here, so watch out if you're like me and you move at a slower pace. They catch up w/ you quickly and they don't like waiting. You can let them move in front of you if you like. Overall, I enjoyed the course and will definitely be returning.

First, the balls are in terrible shape. Of the 120 ball bucket it's clear they aren't mixing new ones in and I'd rate them about 4/10 in terms of condition. Second, the mats are in fair condition but showing their age and full of rocks. It wouldn't take much to run a leaf blower across them an extra time each day. Third, the tracker cameras/sensors are far from a Trackman or an actual Top Golf location so set your standards low. All of that is quickly forgotten if the price point were in line with a small town golf experience. Problem is: they're the most expensive around. Grey Rock and Falconhead are both cheaper both from an individual bucket standpoint and for a monthly membership. Bottom line is that it's a mom and pop type driving range charging big city prices. I spent close to $1000 over several months here before I finally gave up and went with a cheaper option (grey rock) which also gets me discounted rates on 18 holes with a cart, but I suppose if you're looking for an experience other than the golf there's not much around like it for 20 miles.

The greens currently have some weeds which should burn off soon in the heat so they play a little slow. The driving range is large and one can use any club. The putting area is a good size as well. Plenty of parking! There is little shade so you are exposed to the sun and the wind if there is either.

So, if you set your expectations accordingly you will have a great experience. If you want a challenge play from the back tees. Water comes into play on a few holes and when the wind is howling like it was when I played this past Saturday course management is key. There are a grass driving range and a putting and chipping area. There is a beverage cart but due to Covid, there are no water stations on the course. Green fees are reasonable and there is a resident rate as well as some monthly and yearly sign up options. There are three must play Muni courses in Austin (IMO) Kizer, Clay, and Lions. If you have not played all three well then get your hack butts out there and swing baby!

However, if you are seeking a (very) reasonably priced golf experience, then Hiiden Falls is for you. I've played here twice, and everyone here is very helpful and friendly. From the forward tees, it plays short, and a driver is not needed. You will be challenged from the back tees, but on some holes it's risk-reward, so you may wish to keep the big dog in the bag. I don't believe there is a flat putt on this course, so watch your approach shot. They do have a putting green and a driving range. The 19th hole is fuly stocked with an ajoinng dinng room. As a bonus, there are plenty post post-golf venues in Marble Falls for post-round activities.

For the reasons I'll outline below, I think this is definitely a five-star resort bar. I ordered one of my favorites (a Sidecar) and Joshua suggest a "Ginger Sidecar". Intrigued, I decided to order one. It was fantastic...definitely the best sidecar I've had. Joshua in particular takes particular time to understand and learn about the spirits he is serving up and I really appreciate that. Beyond the drinks, the bar is a fun place to hang out. They've got a nice little shuffle-board game and a pool table to entertain you and your friends. This bar gets really crowded late enough, but it is also just a nice place to sit and have a conversation in the earlier hours (they open at 4PM...stop giving me those looks). Hope you enjoy it and definitely try the ginger sidecar if you're interested in those kinds of things...
