I came in for an X-ray and exam and they were on time to get me in. The hygienist gave me the X-rays and Dr Patel did the follow up. He was very kind, knowledgeable and took time to explain my results. Sad thing was I had cavities. Great thing was they had time to fill them that day!! Unheard of on Kauai. Do NOT go here. I paid almost $6000 for my treatment and am left very unhappy about my result. Dr…read more Tottori is only in it for the money and does not care about his clients. He should just retire. First of all, Tottori has about 5-6 chairs where all clients sit at the same time and he goes from one chair to the next, spending about 5 minutes on each person then runs away and hides in his office. The assistants are then there to do ALL the work. I've seen this practice over the two years I been going there, and he never spent more than 5 minutes with me, EVER. He never took any of my concerns seriously and always just brushed me off. I ended up with all the problems I addressed BEFORE starting treatment- when he reassured me we wouldn't run into those problems or that he had an "idea on how to fix the problem if we run into it". Sure enough, I'm left to deal with it now through my dentist which will cost me another $4000 because even my dentist said my ortho did a horrible job.! I also ended up with a bad bite which Dr. Totorri said was NORMAL! I have an overbite which I never had before! My treatment was ended early by 6 months as he said "this is the best we will get" even tho I still had gaps in my teeth from all the extractions he required. All my teeth have huge spaces in between them!! When they removed my braces, they did such a horrible job that my front teeth have scratches and dents from the removal of the brackets. They didn't even polish it down. I can still feel the glue on every tooth! Plus my teeth are all slanted inward now so it looks very awkward. I'm spending $10,000 now on a smile I'm so not happy with. All because of Dr. Tottori. An orthodontist should be proud of his work and happy when his clients are happy. This guy should be ashamed of himself. DON'T CHOOSE THIS PLACE FOR YOUR ORTHO TREATMENT.

Dental World had an office in Kaneohe which recently closed. They advertised Dr Tony Kim as a…read moreholistic dentist. He replaced crowns that did not need to be replaced and charged me $9,000+. The crowns broke within weeks and needed to be replaced by another dentist. Dr Kim and Myra Dumancas-Kaya, their Kapolei office manager agreed to reimburse me $6,454.48 for the failed work. They have not sent me the promised check and have been ignoring my follow up emails
