I was told I needed a root canal, and was referred to an endodontist (Atlanta endo center) The root canal had failed, and a chronic infection formed. EVERY 6 months at my cleaning here at Duluth dental studio, I would bring up discomfort in the tooth to the dentist assistant and the Doctor. They would tell me it WAS inflamed/bleeding but there was nothing showing on my x rays to be wrong. I believed them. This past December, during my cleaning Dr Kimi told me the tooth had periodontal disease. That was a shock to me, and it didn't sound right. I knew I needed a 2nd opinion. Thank God I got one, my root canal was infected and had failed. I had to get the root canal redone recently, and this office (Duluth dental studio) has given me such a hard time about getting my dental records, saying they would be "encrypted" and I wouldn't be able to see them. I spoke with someone named Tonya on the phone a few days ago, who thought it was funny and was laughing because I was concerned about not being able to obtain my records. DO NOT GO HERE- please, go somewhere else. If something seems wrong with your care, STAND UP FOR YOURSELF. I wish I stopped going here years ago, so I wouldn't have had an infected root canal in my mouth for years. Then i came across Duluth Dental Studio and their reviews were awesome, a lot mentioning Dr. Moon being great. So he called the next morning and they took him in the same day! From his words, the staff was very friendly and Dr's explained everything to him thoroughly and were extremely helpful. Their membership plan is also great and helps save what he was originally going to pay. In his case, his bottom teeth were very delicate and dr was responsible and generous to let him know they couldn't go straight to cleaning his teeth or anything yet due to the fact that his nerves and teeth were too delicate at the moment and since nothing really hurt him but coldness they want to wait til the head trauma passes. My boyfriend then went in the next day to get a little fill since I did chip his teeth, on accident ! I believe they also did clean in between him gums which made his teeth look nearly brand new! Ofc he has a few appointments after that but we 10/10 recommend this place!! Don't go to a whatever last minute place without reading reviews like we were about to do!!

I was told that I needed to replace three cavities because the fillings were leaking. The 2/3 they replaced were on the top and not the three on bottom that they needed to be filled so I didn't bother filling the last molar which they were trying to charge $1600 alone!! And now my bite is not even. I was afraid to go back simply because of the uncertain pricing! Then the billing person (who clearly needs more training with coding) told me she verified with my insurance what was going to be covered. I was charged one amount and then my card they have you leave on file was ran again for a totally different amount weeks after I left. They then sent me a $741 bill for no reason. I only had two visits!! I didn't even get an initial Annual free cleaning that my insurance pays for!! I was told I needed to get a debridement first because my insurance wouldn't cover for the scaling I needed so I paid for that upfront and now they are saying the insurance wouldn't cover it. Which is it?!! Now this office is implying I have this outstanding balance over 60 days which in fact I contacted them on June 5th to cancel the $1600 appointment and asked for a detail bill and they are just getting back to me today!! Someone cannot count in that office!! Why would you charge for services that aren't covered? They could have told me this in the consultation. You can't charge me for something I didn't get done. You won't be in office long doing this to innocent people for no reason. I'm not One to be ripped off and I won't be ever again. I will never go there again. Ever! He did a great job assuring me that there was no reason to worry and that this could actually be fixed. He showed us amplified images of the damage that had been produced and explained every step of the procedure that he would carry out in order to fix the tooth. He replaced the chipped part leaving the tooth without any signs of what had happened. Though he explained to me that the new replacement of the tooth could fall, darken or change color with time, eight years later none of that has happened. His work was excellent and I never hesitate to go to Dr. Morton's office if I have any issues. I found that the cost of the procedure was actually low for how satisfied I was after the procedure was done. I am beyond thankful to him. I highly recommend Mint 32 Dentistry

Though they broke the news to me gently and privately, I was completely and utterly mortified. But, from the front to the back, the entire office was sincere, compassionate and professional. His assistant, Sejja, attempted to make the temporary crown 2 times on the first visit, but she never could do it, so she had to let Aniah finish the job. Sejja did a really bad job, and the temporary was just barely hanging on the tooth. Two days later, part of the crown came off, so I had to return to the clinic. During this visit, Sejja attempted 5 times to make the temporary, but she still couldn't do it, so she turned it over, once again, to another person to finish the job. In my opinion, this is total incompetence! I have had 10 crowns made at other clinics, and I never experienced this problem before. However, it gets worse from here: Sejja made the mold for the permanent crown, and she also messed that up. The crown has an indention at the top, that makes it extremely difficult to floss the area. When I floss, it creates pain and bleeding in the gum line. She also messed up on the night guard, and it's a difficult fit. This young lady messed up on EVERYTHING she did! I have never experienced this before at any other dentist! I told Arjun Parikh, and he laughed in my face, and he came across to me as arrogant and narcissistic. He told me he stands behind the faulty work that Sejja did. I went to another dentist, and the new dentist told me the tooth needs to be extracted, because I have bone loss, and that I would need a bone graft. THEREFORE, JOHNS CREEK DENTAL STUDIO MADE A CROWN FOR A TOOTH THAT NEEDS TO BE EXTRACTED. I BELIEVE THIS IS DENTAL MALPRACTICE, AND I AM CURRENTLY HAVING THIS In review, here are the problems that Johns Creek Dental created for me: 1. Pain in the gumline, between the two upper right molars, that gets much worse when I eat certain foods that get trapped between these teeth. Before this permanent crown, I never had a problem with food getting stuck between these teeth. 2. Pain between the two upper right molars from flossing in that area. The pain can become pretty bad. 3. Inflammation between those two teeth, mostly caused from flossing, but also from eating. 4. Extreme difficulty flossing between those two teeth, because Johns Creek Dental Studio created a jagged area at the top of the crown, so the dental floss doesn't glide smoothly. Out of the 10 total crowns I have had done from other dentists, this is the only crown that has this problem, so Johns Creek cannot try to say that this problem is normal. 5. A bulky crown that doesn't feel natural, as compared to the other nine crowns, from other dentists. 6. The gum line between those two molars bleeds very easily when I floss that area. I never had this problem with the bleeding before Johns Creek Dental Studio made this crown. I will strongly encourage everyone to stay away from Johns Creek Dental Studio!

I attempted contacting the V.A. For several months, to no avail. It's was very time consuming. Well I called the Doctors office to see if there was a possibility of me paying out of pocket. But after getting a warm introduction to Tina, she expressed deep concern with my Delima. She asked me to please let her try her skills at getting the ball moving. After letting her take the reins, Tina not only got the approval same day, but she also set me up for a visit for my crown work that same day. I must say that Tina is a Go Getter and very prized asset to the staff. I am very thankful that I met her.

Never pressured to do anything, things are explained thoroughly, and he's honest about the work that he can do versus referring you to a specialist. The tech inside is also very modern. I didn't realize they could do a 3-D image of your teeth in real time with a scanner, in addition to up close photographs. All for you to see as a patient while they explain it to you.
