Taking my child to the doctor, for a scheduled well check, should not be an all day experience!! Waiting in the exam room for an hour and a half for the doctor to come see us is unacceptable. I have been with this practice for the last 14 years and I'm severely disappointed! read more

Had an email confirmation of my appt for my 5 month old daughter, get to the pediatrics office, only to find out they randomly decided to cancel her appointment beforehand and never notified me. They did not even have the decency to try and accommodate and fit us in. My husband and I took a day off work to take care of my baby as she was meant to get shots but now we have to wait another day and waste more time. read more

I do like Dr. Tebby, but anytime I go to the clinics (mostly in Viera, have been to Rockledge) I am in the exam room for minimum one hour to be seen. Nice experience when you have a one and three year old.. I am currently in the exam room at Rockledge to be seen and it's been an hour wait so far. read more

On May 24 2022 I had a follow up appt for my 7 year old son, with Pediatrics of Brevard, Dr Leiba, for left ear pain, after being diagnosed with the FLU type A on May 22 by a local urgent care center . I informed Dr Leiba of my sons medical hx, provided the urgent care paperwork to his office staff and informed him that my son was put on a 7 day coarse of cefdinir for the URI 2 weeks prior. The MD proceeded to prescribe a PO antibiotic for a double ear infection. Unbeknown to me, Dr. Leiba mistakingly prescribed the same antibiotic my son had previously been on. Upon being made aware of his mistake at the pharmacy, I immediately called the MD office and asked the receptionist- Alyson to please relay the message to the MD. I waited about an hour at the pharmacy for the corrected prescription without a callback. When I called the MD office again I was told that Dr. Leiba was in rotation with other patients and would return my call by the end of the day. I explained to the receptionist my sons pain level and multiple urgent care visits due to lack of MD call back with absolutely no resolve or compassionate response. I then drove to the Brevard Pediatrics to speak to them in person where I was again told by Alyson at the front desk, that Dr. Leiba was in with other patients and he would call me when he completed his rotation. I tried to re emphasize that this was his mistake and has a very quick fix and I begged for the receptionist to help me. The response was the same. At this point I requested my sons medical records and I took him to urgent care for the 3rd time where he was prescribed a different antibiotic. At the end of the day I received a call from Dr. Leiba who proceeded to blame me for his mistake. He accused me of not informing him of my sons previous urgent care visits and antibiotic coarse...... which is absolutely not true. The moral of the story is .....TRY TO AVOID PEDIATRICS OF BREVARD AT ALL COST...they treat children like numbered cattle not like actual human beings. They are in the business of treating a high number of patients rather than actually giving you quality compassionate care that your child deserves. I had seen previous reviews such as the one that I am writing when looking for an MD, I should have heeded the warnings and I didn't. I hope you do. read more

I used pediatrics in brevard for years, their policy is patients can go there until they are 21 years old, i turned 18 over a year ago and my doctor had no issue continuing to see me. Recently however she was on maternity leave and i needed to order blood work as i though i might have hep, I saw nurse practitioner Smith who was INCREDIBLY unprofessional. To make a long story short my blood work came back and showed i had hep A, which has been spreading through brevard county this year. I issued a formal complaint about her and even my doctor, who i saw after she returned, said that Smiths behavior was outrageous when i told her. I few weeks later i received a letter stating that i would no longer be under their care. So if your looking for a reliable professional pediatrics office for your child i would not suggest pediatrics in brevard. read more

We have moved around a lot and so have had a few pediatricians and never have I had trouble being seen in the office for a sick visit. This place has way too many patients! They never have same day availability and right now it's 3 days so they recommend the ER or Urgent care which is just insane. They just refer them back to the primary after charging a fortune and you never receive the same care as your child's doctor should give. The Dr. saw my son in the office a couple days ago and said if anything changes give us a call we are here but then when you do, they can't see them anyway. They have 103 fevers and other symptoms so it's not just a runny nose but it's also not an emergency room situation either. certainly can't wait 3-4 days to be seen though. Needless to say we are finding a new pediatrician. read more

First of all, you are only ever seen by nurse practitioners, that's just the way it's set up. The unfortunate part is that Lea is the only one who is any good but she is very difficult to get in to see because she only works 2 days a week. Any time we see another nurse practitioner with my son, they discount our concerns and try to just refer us off (we're talking minor stuff like sinus infections, ear infections, etc.) If you actually get to see Lea, they're great, but since we almost never can anymore we'll be looking for a new pediatrician. read more

A nurse there "black-listed" my 2 children because we moved to Winter Park for a year and came back. The doctor has been my childrens' pediatrician since they were born. I asked her how long the black list is for, she said, "forever". read more

Today my daughter (11 months old) had a severe allergic reaction. At first it was just a couple of blotches so I was going to get her a cream or something. I called to get a recommendation from a nurse. Not 2 minutes after getting off the phone, she was covered from head to toe in blotches, both eyes were super swollen, one eye could barely open, and she was screaming in pain. I called back & told them what happened & that she needed to be seen ASAP. If they couldn't see her I'd be taking her to the ER. They told me to come in. I didn't wait once I got there. The dr gave her medicine that she could take & kept her there to make sure she was good again. I'll forever be thankful for Dr. Kennedy & the staff there! read more

It's very disappointing when you go to their walk in clinic at 8am because your child has ear pain, they recommend medicine & said they would call it in, and by noon they still have NOT called it in! read more

Both times my kids had appointments, we waited over an hour in the waiting room. Then the kids weren't even seen by doctors, only nurse practitioners. Front office staff is hardly pleasant. Looking for a new pediatrician in 2015!! read more

If not for Lea, we would no longer be at this office. My son is almost four, the FIRST time I actually met his Doctor was this past February, where he misdiagnosed double pneumonia. I went to the Melbourne location yesterday with him, where I was told he has a slight bronchitis, and they'd call in a zpack for me. So, I go to the pharmacy, and they have nothing for my little. I called the office this morning to ask about it, and was on hold for 25 minutes. I am over it. Which is sad, because Lea is great, but the office is crap. read more
