Called ahead to make sure they could care for our 4 year old son after explaining our situation. He had a bad cut on his finger tip and needed X-rays, wound care + stitches. From the beginning, care was very unprofessional. The nurse(?) asked if he needed stitches (as if we would know) and made my husband and I hold the water bowl and our screaming toddler's hand in a bowl to soak while she left the room. The water dripped all out and we couldn't even get his wound efficiently cleaned. When she was explaining the process of stitches to us, she looked at my husband and said "you look strong, you'll have to really use your force and hold him down" and told me because I'm pregnant I wouldn't be able to help at all. The whole process sounded horrifying and was handled very unprofessionally. After having X-rays and being there an hour, the doctor comes in and says "so, do we have a cut?"..... after we've been there for an hour being assessed because of a cut that won't stop bleeding... YES we have a cut? Anyways, they referred us to Nemours hospital in Orlando and ultimately we wasted our time coming here first. They took 3 xray photos, and only provided us with 1 so we had to redo X-rays as the hospital. So thankful we did not let them perform the stitches, it would have been terrible! My husband had a tick bite on his leg that had festered and wasn't healing. We normally go to Atlantis urgent care but we weren't able to find a time slot. We got him in at this facility, it was 8pm. They didn't even inspect the bite, instead they just confirmed it was a tick bite and prescribed him antibiotics. Several days later, he had to dig around the wound himself and found the tick head was still embedded in his leg. We will stick with Atlantis, they are much better staffed and take care of their patients. read more

Been here a few times now and have been greeted with a great front staff when I walk in and only had an issue with one nurse who had resting bitch face and seemed like she thought she was better than everyone else... but other than that everyone was great. The facility seemed clean and I was in and out pretty quickly instead of being put in a room to wait forever like most places. read more

I had a very pleasant experience at Space Coast Urgent Care. There were about 5 other patients in the waiting room when I arrived. I was checked in promptly and called back for treatment about 15 minutes later. The staff was very friendly, meeting all my expectations. The facility was very clean and offered refreshments in the lobby. I left with a solution to my issue and was glad I came in to get seen. This will be the urgent care I use in the future as a new resident in Satellite Beach. read more

"Top of the Line". So clean , fresh, new, waiting room gorgeous. Separate area for pediatrics. Front desk check-in experience, excellent, friendly, efficient, she greeted everyone coming in and leaving. Helpful, accommodating with electronic check-in. I give her an A+. All staff excellent. Best of this visit, it was hurricane day and we had no power at home, so no coffee. But Space Coast Urgent Care had a lovely complementary coffee bar. ( and other beverages). Who does that ! We were in heaven with a nice hot cup of coffee. They were the only urgent care open in Brevard County today. read more

Surgery/ wound Repair 11/7/39 Logan Arbogast was the PA responsible for the repair of a very severe cut on my thumb. He and an assistant performed the necessary repair surgery, 4 stitches needed, No pain, and then follow up care a week later. A family member contacted the office late in the day but the office accepted my request and the office staff extended their schedule to accommodate my needs. This accidental wound happened on my birthday, just as I was opening my gifts. I live just few miles away, and was driven to the facility within minutes prior to their closing. Logan and staff were very sympathetic, courteous and competent. I'm still waiting for the wound to be completely healed, another week. They get a 5***** rating from me. I have been in FL for 2 years, moved from Chicago. I've had many ailments since moving here. Ive had difficulty finding doctors that A. took my insurance and B. actually knew what they were doing. I passed this establishment many times and even though it was a little further than Med Fast was from my home, I decided to try it. I tried Med Fast several times and they were horrible. Anyways, I've used SCUC 3x now in the last 2 months and they are BEYOND knowledgeable, compassionate, and responsive! I actually felt like they cared about getting me better! Logan and one of the nurses ( her name escapes me) this last time (kidney stones and an allergic reaction) I felt so taken care of! Even when I called them in the evening to let them know I was in more pain, Logan got on the phone right away and helped me! Enough of my rambling... I'm so happy I've found SCUC! I will be recommending them to everyone I know! Thank you for making me feel taken care of and important! You truly are wonderful at what you guys do! read more

Sick with sinus infection on vacation. Used Yelp reviews to pick this urgent care even though it was a little further drive. Made appt & registered online on the way. Check-in was a breeze. Pretty offices & spotlessly clean. I was in & out within half an hour with an antibiotic script that would allow vacation sun. Very satisfied. read more

Called ahead to make sure that they would be able to see our 11 month old daughter. We told them what her symptoms were and they said they would be able to help us. The mobile questionnaire to register was extremely difficult and took longer than it should have. The first nurse we interacted with was a sweetheart and showed true concern. She took our daughter's temperature and was having a hard time with the oxygen read so she went and got the doctor. When the doctor came in, they took her temperature again and still struggled to get a clear oxygen read. The doctors bedside manners were not up to par. She pretty much told us that we needed to take our daughter to the hospital and made us wait around to sign a paper saying that we didn't want an ambulance to take her that she had rough drafted up. Then when my husband started asking questions, she shooed him to the door and was so rude. They did absolutely nothing for us but waste our time and then make it seem like we were being neglectful by not rushing to the hospital. With the symptoms that she had a viral swab should have been offered, and it was not. When we got to the hospital, we finally found out that our daughter has Covid, The hospital couldn't believe that the walk-in didn't even attempt to do a nose swab to test for anything viral. Don't waste your time or money here. I also hope that the wonderful nurse who works here finds a better job with a better doctor. read more
