My husband also sees Dr. Douglas (we almost never go together due to work schedules) and my husband has similar experiences. The staff here is great and the office runs efficiently. Dr. Douglas runs on time. I've never had a wait. My husband is typically a difficult stick. The phlebotomist here is awesome and always gets him on the first time. Dr. Douglas is kind and takes a real interest in you, not just as a patient but as a person. Dr. Douglas is a huge dog lover and has photos of his dogs in the exam rooms. It's a nice touch so that the office feels less sterile and more welcoming. It's also nice to get a glimpse into his hobbies/ outside interests. That way you see him not just as your doctor but as a human. Overall I highly recommend Dr. Douglas. He is a wonderful PCP. You want someone who takes the time to listen and gets to know you as a person. The location is convenient for me but even if I lived a little further away, I'd drive the extra distance for a good doctor.

I love the fact that his office is in a neighborhood, on a residential street. It feels like a remanent of another era. An era where there were neighborhood doctors who knew you and your family and were only a call away. Being a mid-eighties baby, I'm assuming this era existed. Either way, it feels good pulling up to a neighborhood office. I called to make my initial new patient appointment and was really shocked to hear that they could fit me in two days from that time. Every other doctor's office I had called couldn't take me until three weeks from now (minimum). George made sure to remind me that they only take cash or check (no credit cards), but my copay should be fairly low given my insurance. Was it a little odd that they don't take CC? Yeah. Did it matter when they could get me in so quickly? NOPE! The lobby is nice and neat and has a TV (HGTV for the win!) and the paperwork was straightforward. George, who initially took my call, showed me to the room and we chatted for a while (everyone in Orlando knows everyone!). It was an extra touch of friendliness that made me smile and made the time pass more quickly. The doctor arrived and was very pleasant and efficient- but not in a way that felt rushed. By the end of the appointment I asked about his background and we talked about regions in Spain worth visiting. Again, friendliness goes a long way! Overall, a great visit and I am SUPER glad to have a new doctor nearby (versus the 30 minute trek I used to make).

I still have some non-focused pain, but after 2 sessions, on a scale of 1-10, I'm at a 5-6. The facility is clean and Dr. Go is extremely professional and knowledgeable. If you have any apprehension about acupuncture, you shouldn't need worry, there is truly little to no pain. It is a wonderful facility that very recently opened in Oviedo. Currently there is only one Dr there; however, they are looking to add 4 or 5 more doctors at this location. Dr Spears is a board-certified internal medicine physician who is very personable and caring of his patients. The staff is very friendly, kind, and professional. This facility is quite large, bright and welcoming, and has a convenient location. They accept many different insurances, and have same day appointments, ample provider time, and multidisciplinary care.

Three and a half hours later, still no call back. Their office makes a point of saying to call them before going to the ER, but if you wait for the Oviedo office to talk to you, you might be in really bad shape. If you're having a serious problem, don't expect this office to help you with it, just go to an urgent care or the ER before your situation worsens.

Instead, we were informed by the office manager that the appointment had never been confirmed on their end and that my father was being discharged from the practice due to an alleged no-show on 6/9 and rescheduled appointments on 6/26 and 6/30. To clarify: - My father never had an appointment on 6/9. Neither he nor I scheduled one, nor were we ever informed of one. - On 5/30, he was hospitalized at AdventHealth East Orlando and was later transferred to PAM Rehab Hospital in Winter Garden, where he remained through 6/13. He was physically unable to attend, or even be aware of any appointment during that time. - It turns out the 6/9 appointment was made by AdventHealth during his hospital stay without our knowledge or consent. - I called the office on 6/26 and 6/30 to reschedule due to my father's recent hemorrhagic stroke, which has left him with significant daily challenges. At no point was I told of a rescheduling or cancellation policy, nor was I warned that his status as a patient was at risk. I was simply given a new appointment for 7/2. To then arrive and be told that his appointment was unconfirmed and that he had been discharged, with no prior notice was shocking and deeply frustrating. The communication breakdown was unacceptable. I strongly advise against seeking care from this office, especially if you or your loved one is living with a disability. Managing a disability is hard enough without the added stress of poor communication, indifference, and a lack of compassion from a healthcare provider and their staff.

Dr shukla is quick to respond to messages and phone calls. His office does a good job as well. I have been seen for routine visits as well as walk in visits/sick visits. Of course there is always a bit of waiting, like any doctors office, but I never find it to be excessive. His office uses a platform where I can access my lab results, orders, and office notes. I can also message the office and the doctor from that platform. It's very useful. Dr shukla is professional and a good listener. He always goes above and beyond to help me. He also has a list of recommendations if you need a specialist etc. the office also offers cosmetic procedures, which I have not tried yet. And although he has hosted some gatherings to go over those new procedures, I have not attended yet.
