Both thanked me for visiting and really made the customer feel welcome and appreciated. Granted, I'm a NY transplant who certainly was wayyy too nice for the area :p The fertilizer that I ended up buying was only $26 for a 50lb bag, which is entirely reasonable compared to a Scott's bag for at least double that price. I'll certainly make it a point to make this place my first stop before going to Lowe's in the future! Keep it up you guys!!

Yep, no problem. As I went out back to meet a different associate for the exchange, things took a turn. The associate accused me of buying the tank somewhere else and trying to return it there, because "it (didn't) look like (their) tank". It devolved from there. I will never give another penny to any Ace Hardware.
