So, I quickly messaged a good friend on December 30th (afternoon) and we planned to arrive for dinner. DINNER - The style is TAPAS so the food is small plates. Dinner was delicious. My friend and I ordered several dishes to share including sides (mushrooms, broccolini, and eggplant), rice, and 2 meats (sirloin steak and chicken skewers). The flavour was rich enough but not too strong. Pricing is slightly high but the quality is great. It's sad that the investor decided to close down this Japanese restaurant so early. They only opened in July 2025 so after 6 months they are closing. It takes time for a restaurant to see growth in customer base and money. Perhaps they didn't advertise well enough but whatever the case, I'm glad I got to try their food. Customer service was amazing. My friend and I were greeted when we arrived and were checked on throughout the night. **** GOAL of 365 reviews in 2025 - 60/365 total reviews in 2025 - 841 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 31 December 2025

We tried 6 dishes and 2 sashimi dishes and it was a perfect amount of food for 3 people. The food came out extraordinary fast too I was shocked. They were busy but efficient, I was quite impressed. The must haves are the chicken rice bowl, the yellowtail, and the beef cheek. I love the wide variety of food options for vegetarians and meat lovers. I will say, the food still needs some fine tuning. The flash fried octopus had a weird texture and the sauce was way too overpowering. The squash was good but didn't have anything that made it stand out than anything I could've made at home. Excited to come back to keep trying out more flavors!

CLE's best kept secret!…read more A few of my friends raved about Smoke & Mirrors, so I finally checked it out. I stopped in during Stargazers Ball hosted by YoreCraeft Productions. It was a fun cosmic costume party at Smoke & Mirrors. Smoke & Mirrors delivers on their promise, there are mirror accents and intermittent smoke. They also have a lot of silver accents that have a cool juxtaposition with the cave look. You can find this nightclub underground at Clandestina on West 25th. Enter the club by going through mezcalería (Clandestina) and going downstairs. The club calls themselves "subterranean catacomb club." I'd describe it as a nightclub giving off speakeasy vibes with some exposed brick, cave vibes, and sultry red illumination. It's a very mysterious dungeon looking club. It's raw and unusual for the local nightclub scene in the very best of ways. The coolest space in this club is the once upon a time coal room that serves as a little private nook to sip your cocktails. The rest of the club has one dance floor, some comfy seats against the wall, and a small bar. It's very intimate. The club is mostly known for its EDM DJs. Don't expect big names but expect good music. You can find their lineup on their IG @smokeandmirrorscle. They're open on Thursdays for karaoke, and Saturdays for DJ and dancing. The party that I attended had a lot of dancing and good vibes. The club seems to have a cover charge, but the amount is not shared on their socials. The menu consists of cocktails, craft beer, and wine, which is a generous selection for a night club. There were some themed cocktails during my visit ranging from $8-$14. I certainly plan to stop by during a regular weekend night to check out the full experience and DJ's. You should too. If you drop in, stop Clandestina bathroom for a selfie with flattering light. Can't wait for my next visit!

Great brewery! The staff was very helpful. We were able to…read more taste a few beers before selecting one. Everything is order at counter but they give you a number and food is delivered to the table. They had draft cocktails along with beer so a nice selection even for nonbeer drinkers. We shared two pizzas and they were delicious, great flavors! The main floor has large tables, brewing equipment and TVs. There is a nice rooftop deck area, two flights of stairs, with a nice view of downtown Cleveland. The staff was attentive at coming around clearing and cleaning tables.

Came here for the patio. It's on the rooftop. We were in the area and we looked at the menu and…read moreoptions and decided to hang out here. Cool place. The World Cup was in swing so lots of people were watching the TV's with the games on. We were in the minority but all of us on the patio were. LOL! We opted for the view and the patio. It is a great view of Cleveland. But main floor was TV's and soccer. You order everything at the bar. Food and drink. For 2 ciders, 2 wraps 1 BLT and 1 turkey it was $45. The cider was good. They had a lot of beer and other drink options. Honestly a good selection. Go to the website to check it out. The BLT and turkey wraps came with chips and it was all just OK. Not bad. Not fantastic. They bring you your food. So we ate by the best view. Super nice clear day and just kinda relaxed with our food and drinks. Parking is along the street. Parallel parking anywhere along the street. Service was good. Besides placing the order and bringing food you don't interact with staff too much. We ate hung out with our drinks and spent time looking at the view. It's a cool place. I'd go back.
