This was a happy accident while on vacation with the family. My son just opened the door and we walked into a great time. Quick tip add money to your touch tunes account before ordering cause the beers are cold and smooth. If they catch up to you there's pizza literally on the other side of the bar. Go in and have fun!

A good chill spot that has good drinks and pizza! The swerved was really polite! I will come back and try some additional flavors!

I visited with a 12 person group at 7pm on a Monday night. We were able to get two tables next to each other easily. I noticed daily specials at the bottom of the menu, and being Monday, 10" pizzas were BOGO free! (This didn't apply to my 12inch gluten free- bummer!) My friend ordered a vegan pepperoni and was able to take another one home for free! I ordered the figgy piggy pizza. I didn't notice until doing this review and looking up the menu that they didn't put the apples on my pizza =( It tasted OK, nothing amazing, unfortunately. I did really loved the gluten free crust though! I subbed pepperoni instead of the ham and that part was really good. My partner didn't love his chicken wrap. The huge one inch solid chunk of lettuce stalk he found within was off-putting and the flavor just didn't hit. The service was helpful and attentive. We had to get our own waters from the stations near the bar, and had to get lemons from the bartender, but that's just how the place does things There is a lot of seating in this building, mainly large benched tables. There's a hidden cove under the stairs that has board games and a couple arcade games. There is a parking garage SLIDE on the same block that was fun to check out. If you follow the building left or right, there's an opening to walk through and you'll see the slide. You go up 2 floors, there are signs, and you can take the twisted slide down 2 stories. Very cool!

Saucy Brew had a lot of vegan options, which was nice. My son enjoyed his vegan pepperoni pizza. Our server was friendly and helpful. The food came out sporadically though. For example, my son was finished eating his pizza before the rest of our food came out. There were 5 of us. The atmosphere was loud and fun, indoor/outdoor. We were also seated pretty quickly.

Pizza and beer are both sensational and everyone in the place was friendly and charismatic! We were with our infant daughter and found a nice tucked away corner to enjoy a family dinner!

My husband and I stopped in here with two other couples and had a good experience overall. The atmosphere is very lively and has a cool industrial vibe. The beer was good overall and even though we didn't order pizza this time, the pizza we've had in the past here was very tasty. The service was efficient and pleasant.

Saucy Brew Works has a large selection of beers and a large menu of bar food. I was impressed with the vegan pizza. It was perfectly spicy and the crust was very crisp. My partner prefers wheat beers or a hazy IPA in a pinch. He had a hard time finding something on the menu to suit his taste. He did enjoy the Italian sandwich. The portion was very healthy. We arrived around 6p on a Tuesday and the dining area was not too full. People started arriving as we sat there. We have ordered at the counter in the past. This time we had a server and she was great. She even saw my partner was not enjoying his beer and brought him a taster of another. The dining room has picnic table and high tops. I did not find the seating to be comfortable. Next time if the weather is not too warm maybe we will sit outside. We do enjoy the location. Hinge town is a fun area. There is street parking or a small parking garage not far from Saucy Brew Works.

We came here after an event nearby to have a drink and a light bite on a Thursday night. The brewery was having trivia and was very busy. We ordered drinks and food at the bar and then a server brought our food out to us. I had a cherry limeade mocktail that was excellent and we ordered the cauliflower pimento dip - it was awesome! I would love to come back for dinner one night as their menu was quite extensive and we hard that the pizzas are excellent t here. Parking is a bit rough but we found a metered lot a block away behind the building.

I have to say, I was very excited about trying this place when i saw the menu online. It's very diverse and looks promising. Great bar food. I ordered the chicken wrap sandwich and the barbecue mac and cheese. Both we passable, but that's about it. I love a good buffalo chicken wrap sandwich. This was cold by the time I got it home. The thing was, it took me 5 minutes to walk home with it, and they made me wait at the bar because the food wasn't ready. They give you a choice of sauce for the fried chicken inside. That was ok. I asked for blue cheese instead of the ranch dressing. I could taste neither. Most places give it to you on the side for dipping. That was not the case here. The barecue mac and cheese was ok. It was tastey, but nothing special. I'd give that a 3 out of 5 starts. and the wrap a 2 out of 5 to be honest. The ambience seems kinda fun. It's a beer hall atmosphere, with lots of windows in a nice little part of Ohio City. I think 3 out of 5 is generous. It's worth coming here, decent bar food is how I'd sum it up.

My mom and I had a couple of things not go to plan earlier so we went looking near our Soul Space Yelp elite event and picked this spot hoping to get a gluten free cauliflower crust pizza but they didn't have any of the crust this time! We walked in and the waitstaff greeted us and said pick any open spot and someone would be with us shortly. Christopher was our waiter. He was very friendly and took plenty of time to ask questions to the kitchen when we had them prior to getting our wing orders in. My mom picked the Bee Sting wings. She really enjoyed them. I had one of hers and they were indeed very flavorful. I chose the honey sriracha and that flavor is divine. I will say, both wings were more hot from being fresh out of the oven. Getting through the first couple of them, (they come in orders of six), you can really enjoy the flavors more. The wings themselves were pretty big compared to other wing places I have been. The flats and the drums. As someone who doesn't drink anymore, I appreciate there being a spot on the menu for a couple mocktails. Lots of TVs, music playing at a comfortable loud so you could hear both it and the people with you. Definitely a fun atmosphere. I saw they had trivia nights, maybe I could test my luck?! Overall, an awesome quick bite. Would love to come back and get a pizza on cauliflower crust!!

Friendly server. His name was Chris. Be sure to ask for him. Came here because we saw they had gluten free pizza crust .... Guess what they were out of!!?? We settled on wings. I ordered the bee sting bbq flavor. A perfect level of hot. They do charge extra for celery and for dressing. Typical bar atmosphere. Large tables available for larger groups. Patio doors were open beautiful breeze tonight.

A solid place to grab a beer in Cleveland. Stopped in after a long day at work and was surprised by the wide variety of beers available. They have flights, so you can sample a number of different types at an affordable price. Huge space with a nice seasonal patio and large bar. Service was a little slow as others mentioned, but nothing ridiculous. I haven't had food at this location, so I can't speak on it's quality. I'd definitely stop in for a beer, again.

It's becoming more and more difficult to not stop here when visiting Cleveland. Its location is perfect if you're visiting the Rock Hall or the stadium. It's also not terribly far from other points of interest. The food is worth the trip. The pimento dip alone is a must. Beware if you are lactose, it will destroy you, but god damn it's delicious. The pizzas are also incredible. The chicken bbq has been my go-to. The beer selection is very wide and seems to stay up to date if thats your thing. The mocktail options are also delicious. Any servers Ive had have been polite, friendly, and attentive. With plenty of room there isnt often a wait so dont hesitate to stop on in.

If you're a beer fan, and fan of local and beer history, this is a must visit stop in downtown Cleveland. There's a ton to see here. If you reflect outside, you can see how this used to be a bunch of separate businesses and houses that gradually turned into the large spot that's here today. The exterior is historic brick facades, some of which carry over inside. It's along a street that has been transformed into pedestrian only access, so you'll have a pleasant visit if you sit outside to enjoy the fresh air, shady trees, and passersby. Inside there is a ton to look at. The main entrance toward the middle hold the original brewing system from when they first started; they've come a long way. To the left you'll find the merchandise store, with beer to go, plus a ton of apparel, swag, and other merchandise. To the right begin the bar areas, and there are a few. The old bar is here, right at the crossroads of all the staircases and hallways: the basement is its own vibe and also has the only restrooms, main level has various seating areas. If you're at the main bar, you can order direct from the bar; our bartender was so fast and attentive despite the huge crows. Upstairs is another experience with old creaky floors and many small rooms for more intimate conversations. Everywhere throughout is historic brewery art, trays, bottles, etc. from the region, most of which are long gone. Their beer is consistently well made and flavorful, I'm told they have amazing holiday traditions and events here. It's well worth a visit.
