I came in to study on a Saturday. The place is packed and continues to see a nice helping of…read morecustomers as the night continues. The set up is very middle Eastern I would say. The front has some wicker chairs and tables which are very small. As you move toward the back there are small sitting rooms where you take off your shoes and sit on a padded "floor". The back has some more chairs and tables. Outlets are hard to find. You most likely will share a sitting area as well. One note is, I think they have a wifi limit where only a certain number of people can connect. I tried all night to get a connection and could not for any of my devices, nor could my friend. Overall the ambiance is catered toward chatting rather than studying as the tables are very small and slow or no wifi. I like the night vibes it has though, we need more late night 3rd spaces like this one!! I got a hummus plate and ginger tea. The ginger tea was just okay. The ginger was overpowering in not a good way. It highlighted the spiciness of ginger without letting any type of "tea flavor" through. It tasted more like ginger water. For a tea house, I thought it would have more depth. The hummus platter was very yummy! The pita was warm and the olive oil on the hummus added a nice touch to it. I think I would have enjoyed the experience more had the tables not been as wobbly, the WiFi worked at any point, the tea had a bit more nuance to it, and the cloying smell wasn't there. It is a very good chatting spot for late night meetings ups with great food!

He looked really annoyed that I was even there. i explained that I am pretty nervous and he had no response at all. I work in customer service and never make a customer feel like a burden. i felt like a burden that day and left with a weird feeling in my chest and no tea or snacks. I don't think i'll be ever returning, not that you guys seem to care anyway since every time they respond to a review it's pretty snippy://. Too bad cuz it smells really good in there, yall just stink morally.

When I came to Pitt, it became routine that I grabbed a bubble tea once a week before class or as a treat on the weekends. I am always sure to stop in and grab my favorite drink if I am in the area. Not only are the workers super friendly, but the drinks are delicious and consistently good. I love the bright interior of the shop and that there is inside seating, so you can enjoy your drink inside (especially during the colder months in PA). My go-to order is a black iced tea lemonade with strawberry flavor and lychee popping boba, but there are so many flavor options that you can really mix it up based on your personal preference. Its location on Forbes Ave makes it fairly easy to get to, especially if you are a student living on Pitt's campus. Do yourself a favor and grab a bubble tea if you are ever in the area!

The inside is small with not a ton of seating so keep that in mind for big groups. There's a table for 8, four chairs next to the window with a narrow table, and a long bench to sit at. We ordered our boba and pearls were really soft and chewy. My friend's mango slushie was really refreshing and I liked my taro boba.

The inside is fairly large with a good amount of tables. We ordered a few apps to share and everything came out quickly. The smashed cucumber salad is HUGE and delicious with a lot of good flavor. The wings were crispy and the chicken satay was really flavorful. We loved the flaky egg tarts and the scallion pancakes. The chicken fried rice had a touch of sweetness to it which was unexpected but we liked it!

There are so many great restaurants in Oakland to choose from and they're definitely on that list. Everything from the boba to the rice and all in between is delicious. Well, at least what I had was. What I had: Cake foam boba milk---OMBoba...delish (I need to try the Snow mountain boba next) They have so many drink options that it's overwhelming. Beef satay was tender and well-seasoned Fried dumplings and cucumber salad---yum Chicken Chow Fun---I think they mean Chicken Chow YES Last note: As you can imagine, they can get extremely busy as with most restaurants in Oakland. It's worth the wait.
