Don't be misled by the simplistic appearance of this eyeglass operation. This was my 7th pair of eyeglasses and the employees never cease to amaze me. With careful and complete service provided by Melissa I was again swept off my feet with the 1st class service I received. Two pair glasses perfectly prepared and presented within hours. I would be remiss if I did not mention "Sal". He is unbelievable. He has repaired rather complex damage to frames for me twice. Peepers has excellent service and superb staff. One of the best buying experiences I ever had. This is best described and contrasted with my experience at Walmart Vision Center on Wedgewood. All I wanted and needed was my current subscription- for progressive glasses I purchased from a Walmart Vision Center in Texas filled as non-progressive. I asked Walmart if they could refill my existing prescription. "Sir.. no... we are an independent optometrist." Then I asked if they could simply pull up from their system my old prescription. They reluctantly did so, but then told me the prescription was expired. Ok.. can I simply see and have the existing prescription? "No sir, you can't have it and we can't show it to you". Frustrated, I left and went to PEEPERS. Peepers ASKED me what I needed and after learning about my frustrating experience at a Walmart Vision Center- informed me I did not need my existing prescription. They can determine wat I needed by merely inspecting my current glasses. Wallah.... I had new non progressive glasses from Peepers in just 2 hours! Peepers is a well oiled machine. I am from out of town and had an issue with my glass falling out of the glasses frame. I walked into Peepers and felt immediately welcome. A technician named Rachel took my glasses and completely tuned them up with adjustments, new screws and nose pads. Rachel then asked me to try them on and waited to ensure they were just right. styles are nice and service is good but very low quality. the glasses break after 3-4 months because the hinges ar not long lasting. I bought 5 pairs over 18 months and now I'm through with these. better off buying from an online prescription service and spending a tiny bit more to get frames that last. read more

My wife & I have tried several eye care places since we arrived in TV 8 yrs ago. Peepers is by far the best in wait time (short), and customer service (5star+), and Dr Collins' RXs are spot on (vs other RXs we have received and bought glasses from that subsequently needed a different lens to be correct). We are especially fond of Sherry, who provides us with terrific care and personal service. Just today, I needed a nose pad replaced and my glasses adjusted. I was in and out in less than 5-10 min. I have been accused in the past of being "picky" about my eyesight (& to be honest - I am!), but Sherry never criticizes me, and always makes time to adjust my glasses to my satisfaction - with a smile and a special word, even if it is once a month! Had a lens pop out of the frames and took it in to see if they could repair it. I assumed that I would have to leave the glasses for a day or two. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the repairs would only require a few minutes. The lens was not only replaced, but all of the screes were tightened and the frames straightened. Stopped in to check for glasses for my 84 year old father and had the good fortune of Sherry coming over and asking if she could help us. She listened to what we were looking for and found some great looking frames that would work. As a result, we knew this was the place to buy the frames. She helped us understand all the lens' options and we were very pleased with the end results. Sherry is very knowledgeable, professional and personable; it was great to have someone to steer us through the process. The glasses were due in the following Monday; on Friday, my dad lost his glasses and I called Sherry to see if she had any recommendations on sometime to use until the glasses came in. The lenses had just arrived and she made sure my mom and dad could pick the glasses up that afternoon.
