My son's therapist was good. She went on leave recently and Pegasus did not bother to follow-up with continuing his therapy. I reached out and did not get a call back until 4 weeks later, and only after I submitted my termination of care to them. Then the owner Wendy called, no apologies, she just said "So you found a new therapist for your son" I indicated "no", and asked her if she had gotten my letter terminating care. The owner responded with a "yes". That is all she said. That shows that she has no clue the importance of child therapy or cared for my child's therapy. I can only speak for her services and not as a person who has volunteered for Wendy. Wendy has helped my daughter so much. When we started visiting Wendy, my 3 year old only knew a few 30-40 words, previews therapists had diagnosed her with apraxia, but now only after 6 months of visiting Wendy my daughter can say so many words and communicate with the family with full sentences. The first months Wendy encouraged us to use sign language and my daughter learned it immediately, a couple months after that she started using more and more words and then started putting them together to form short sentences. Wendy works great with kids, we can't always get my kid to ride the horse, but Wendy is always patient and takes her to see the chickens or play with toys while she uses every opportunity to teach her new sounds/pronunciation. I like the environment because it does not make my daughter feel like it is therapy, and instead my daughter thinks that we have to go visit Wendy to walk the horse or to feed the chickens. She is always happy to see Wendy! I would recommend this place to anyone who has a child struggling, but I also want to remind you that part of your child success will come from the help he/she gets at home. It takes a team to help your child succeed and you cannot expect Wendy to do it all alone, but she is a great team player and has always helped me get educated on how to help my kid at home with ideas, books and tools. read more

I don't recommend this place for hippotherapy. Wendy is very rude and inflexible, both of which are poor qualities in someone who is working with children. Our son has a speech therapist who comes to our home, but in an effort to help improve his speech we decided to try Pegasus, mainly because they utilize horses during therapy. Well today after driving more than 45 minutes to get there, we were told that our son would not be able to ride the horse. I said that we would need to cancel the appointment then because we already do speech therapy at home and the room they use at Pegasus is nothing special and is pretty much everything we have at our home. It's not that we are unwilling to spend money on our children, but when you're paying co-pay on top of co-pay you have to make choices. This was not OK with Wendy, as she put it, "she is running a business and can't run it that way." We will never take our son back there, as it is clear what Wendy's bottom line is money. read more

My boys have been with Pegasus Therapy since Spetember and they have improved with their speech significantly. It is a fun, relaxing and fabulous place for kids. Playing with the animals is always a favorite. Wendy,as well as every therapist are absolutely fabulous. They are paitent, kind and so dedicated to what they do. I am forever thankful and grestful that I followed my heart and it lead me to Pegasus Therapy. I would recommend this establishment to everyone and anyone who asks. You will not be disappointed.
