It's a good mom & pop place. Food is hand made and tastes good! Staff is good. The parking is hard however.

We loved Peggy Sue's Place! My mom, daughter and I decided to come here for breakfast. Just around the corner from her, we walked into this cute restaurant decorated with chickens and chicks!! We walked in and sat anywhere we wanted. For Christmas eve, we caught them at a time that wasn't too busy. My daughter and I ordered their country fried steak with eggs and a biscuit & gravy. My mom ordered French toast with bacon. Their gravy isn't a sausage gravy, but if you want it to be, they can make it happen! Our food didn't take long! We were enjoying it quickly and it was tasty!! Hot biscuits, with chunks of sausage, my over medium eggs were almost over hard, but still tasty. Their French toast was delicious too! Customer service was phenomenal! One of the better places in Heber Springs considering. First; It is cash only place. Nice atmosphere and a local vibe. The food is what is expected in this area. Almost all of them are Southern Cooking style. We went for lunch and after looking at the menu Breakfast would have been better. There are two menus. The one they hand you and the one on the white board above the counter. I would come back again to try the breakfast. The lunch was okay just seemed the same as a lot of other places around. Our party of three went to Peggy Sue's for breakfast. The restaurant passes the parking lot test ~ a full parking lot at around 9 am. This is a seat yourself sort of place. We waited fifteen minutes or so before a waitress arrived to pour coffee. After ten minutes or so, our orders were taken. It didn't take long for our food to arrive. Food was okay. Grits were of great consistency but needed salt, but that's common. Food could have been served hotter. The food was okay, but not fabulous. When an omelette arrives topped with sliced cheese, it's a loss of a star for me. I'm glad the locals like this place (one family had kids in pajamas ~ love that!) This place is absolutely amazing! I had the Ham and Cheese Omelet and it was the best! The servers were very friendly , prompt, and were very welcoming! This was our first trip to Peggy Sue's!! We went on Friday for catfish!! It was okay it did lack seasoning in the catfish. It was great value for the amount charged. The one that always has cookies!!! So breakfast was good. Biscuits are stupid good. But check this out. They have chocolate gravy! Yea I said it. CHOCOLATE GRAVY! Just put it in the biscuit.
