It is currently 88 degrees in our apartment. It is July 10th and our A/C has not worked properly…read moresince JUNE 12. My 85 year old mother who has respiratory problems might have to go to the emergency room because of the heat. We submitted numerous work orders. The repair people would state it was fixed, but it wasn't. We have been given the runaround for a month. The property manager visited our apt. last week. Upon entering she stated "it wasn't that bad" when it was 77 degrees in here. Our electricity bill was $550 in June. The bill is not completely due to the weather. We have lived here 3 years and compared the kilowatts per hour in addition to the cost. Our apartment is approximately 1400 sq feet. They provided ONE small window a/c unit, and refused to provide us another. We are being told our a/c unit will be fixed on Wednesday. Until then there is "nothing they can do", yet they refuse to provide an additional window unit, and for a month now they have not resolved the problem. If you are ok with these type of repairs taking a month, then this is a great place to live.

For some reason, property management thought it would be ok to have lawn mowers start mowing bright and early at 7am. Nothing like being woken up to the sound of a lawn mower right outside your window. If it's not a lawn mower, it's a leaf blower, power washer or noisy grounds' crew vehicle driving back and forth early in the morning. When asked if they could possibly start the mowing operations a little later like maybe 8 or 9am they say no and that some city ordinance allows them to start that early. They clearly don't respect the people they take a rent check from. If you live near the family pool you can expect four months of screaming kids and loud music. When the office was asked if they could do something about the loud music or yelling kids they said "it's only four months of noise". I've had work orders not get accomplished yet were marked "complete". So there is some incompetency in that department as well. The rent goes up a significant amount when you renew so keep that in mind. The property looks like a country club, which is nice, and it's very safe. However, that comes at a cost.

After completely unpacking and relaxing in my recliner, a roach showed up on the arm rest. This roach infested complex also houses shady people, the police are on site often. If you chooses to live at this roach motel, be sure to pay your rent early with out delay..........................they will evict you but not the roaches!

But I believe the management team is limited by the funds released to them from the owners. The potholes in the streets around the apartment complex are huge and have only continued to grow over the year and a half we have lived there. I understand that things need to happen in stages, but very little has been done to repair the roads since we moved in. The video I uploaded shows one section of the road... and it's not even the worst of the issues. The biggest pothole is actually in front of our building; there are actual small boulders coming out of it daily that we all drive around. It is clear that the owners don't live in the complex. And since the streets are private, the city apparently can't do anything about it. It is the eyesore of Lake Saint Louis.
