I ordered $76 of delivery Chinese Food. I didn't receive the food till an hour and 20 minutes later when it arrived cold. I had called the store two times and they said it's coming shortly. After the driver arrived, I gave him a five dollar tip before I looked at my receipt that I was charged a two dollar and a $2.77 credit card charge. I will never order from them again. I order takeout from this Chinese place a lot- they give you a ton of food for the price and it's excellent. They always forget to put cutlery inside the bag so if you need it make sure you ask for it before you leave. There's only a few tables I wouldn't really recommend eating here inside but for takeout it's great! read more

The worst ever. Waited over 2 1/2 hours for food the was completely uneditable. Boneless ribs were burnt beyond being jerky. Probably the best local eat-in or take-out Chinese restaurant in Brick. Large menu, freshly prepared (in front of you in see-through kitchen, where you can watch your dishes being expertly prepared. My only negative is I think they should reduce the amount of batter on dishes like General Tso Chicken and Orange beef as it can be over-breaded and not as crispy as I would prefer. Next time I'll ask for very lightly battered and see if they can make that improvement. Everything is tasty, good lo mein, spring rolls, ribs etc. Not gourmet, but as good and as reasonably priced as it gets compared to the other local store front options. I agree with the previous reviewer. This place definitely has serviceably good Chinese food with a no-oil option. Wonton soup could use pork but the wontons are decent and the shrimp roll was one of the better 'egg rolls' I've had, even though I wasn't expecting it to be an egg roll with two baby shrimp. The Seafood Delight was slightly above average. The sea scallops were fresh as advertised and the star of the dish. Not as much lobster as in the picture on their menu (no claw) but that's to be expected. Will probably rotate between here and Sentosa. 2016 update to 5 stars: Tonight I was impressed not only with the quality but also the portion size: they are not stingy at all here! Plus the food was delivered HOT on a 30-degree night. I'm going to definitely become more of a regular here! One of the best of Brick. read more

This place is just terrible! I ordered food for delivery. Took 1 1/2 hrs to get to me. I live 10min from the place. Nothing came with my order. By that I mean no sauces, no soup crackers, no fortune cookies, not even a tea bag. The food had no flavor was tasteless. I ordered shrimp with lobster sauce was given 3 shrimp. Wonton soup with wontons that had no filling in them. Shame on YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I wish I had a good reason to call the Board of Health on you since I would without hesitation. I called Peking 88 to complain and was told "Sorry we were busy". I hope others read this review and hurts your business. A fairly solid Chinese restaurant, I typically order from either here or Sentosa, depending on my mood. Not too much to say for once, a rarity for me. This place is kept exceptionally clean, and the food is consistently tasty. Prices are on-par with other Chinese restaurants in the area, although I think Peking 88 has a better quality product. A favorite of mine is a more traditional dish, "Ma Po Tofu", which is tofu sauteed in a spicy brown sauce with minced pork and peas. The noodle soups are huge, and you really can't go wrong with whatever you order. My only wish is that they had more authentic Chinese dishes, but I doubt those would sell very well in this area. Still, for American style Chinese food, can't go wrong here! read more

Dumplings are fantastic, soups are fresh and delicious and any dish I've ever ordered has been outstanding. Love the special soups they are just great. If I could give them zero stars, I absolutely would. This place used to be so good, but the quality of food and service has completely declined. They've messed up my order three consecutive times now, with the third time being the final straw. When I went to return my food and request a refund, the staff got completely hostile and defensive towards me. Because I ordered via DoorDash, I had to go through DoorDash for a refund. I was told by the customer service rep that Peking 88 had told them they'd already refunded me, which was entirely untrue. Thankfully, DoorDash refunded me, but that is besides the point. I used to be a regular customer, typically ordering once or twice a month, but after having three orders completely messed up and being treated so rudely by the staff, I will never go back. This place sucks. The food isn't that good. They use msg. When you call and order the come hours later. Last time we ordered I called an hour and 15 minutes after we ordered and told them we had tickets and had to leave in 5 minutes and that there would be no one there to pay. They said the driver should be there. We waited ten minutes, no one came. Then we drove 5 minutes away to the movies. The driver called us and scolded us saying he was outside our house for a half hour. First off that was a lie. When we called some idiot teenager didn't even apologize. So unprofessional! So I went to Yelp and saw that Peking 88 in Brick had excellent ratings. So I decided to give it one last shot. I am so glad I did. This place is amazing. Everything was so fresh. The egg rolls were not greasy at all. I also ordered sesame chicken and four seasons with garlic sauce. The portions were generous and the food was fresh and everything tasted so good. When I asked if I was calling the correct place the attitude in the response was noticeable. I have my order and was told it would be a half hour. Over an hour later my food arrived.
