Decent Chinese takeout around this area. Delivery was fast and the portions are huge! But... the price is about $1 more than other places. My kids were craving take-out and the place we usually order from is now shuttered... (damn you COVID!). Since we've moved to this area, we've must have drove passed this spot for a while and it's now or never. Ordered our usuals.. Large Chicken & Broccoli, Chicken Lo Mein, and Chicken with eggplant. (Of all the years eating takeout.. never found a spot that makes good beef dishes). Chicken & broccoli was good, not soggy, not drown in sauce and has good flavor. The chicken lo mein was too greasy, and the chicken & eggplant needs more flavor. We also got fried chicken wings... crispy, not dry, and not over battered. Tried this place for the first time yesterday with coworkers. Three of us got three different lunch specials. Mine was before broccoli and in garlic sauce. What can I say? It was just not good. Meat was drowning in sauce and the rice was the worst fried rice I've ever had in my life. Both of my other coworkers did not like theirs. Either one had shrimp with mixed vegetables, and the other one had chicken with mixed vegetables. Both were bad. Definitely will not be ordering from here again. read more

Always consistent with my order and a family owned business who works hard to satisfy their customers. The prices are average for a typical Chinese takeout but the food is really good. Some of the chefs may look tough and mean but are actually very cool people and polite. My good to order is general tso or sesame chicken because they cut the chicken into smaller pieces so when they fried it, it's crisper. This is my favorite Chinese spot in the neighborhood. They are traditional and cheap and of course yummy. I would never eat in there because the place is small and shabby but they deliver quick and offer combination specials! It saddens me to write this negative review about this place since it's my go to spot to eat Chinese food. Turns out, I recently made an order for myself and my family and the next day my stomach had the most empty and hurtful feeling I've had ever! Also, having a bad case of diarrhea and vomiting the next day. The food looked and tasted completely normal, maybe the pork I ate was undercooked? Or it wasn't too washed throughly? THIS REVIEW WAS DEFINITELY SOOOOOO LONG OVERDUE, but I knew as soon as I actually downloaded "Yelp" that Peking Kitchen was going to be one of my first, if not THE FIRST review I make on here. Well-- what do you know, it is MY FIRST! I knew their food was always great because I had it while I was at a friends house a few times. I just didn't order from them becuase they weren't so "local", you know what I mean? You know when you are so used to ordering from the same places that are a few blocks from your house/workplace etc and so on, that you just don't let yourself take the leap and just order elsewhere? Yeah, well-- that was me for a while. In any event, I let my curiosity get the best of me and read all the reviews. Whoever has anything negative to say regarding this places food is baffling. When we order from them, we usually make $50-60+ orders and ALWAYS manage to try different stuff. They are just amazing. I never EVER had a problem with anything I ordered. I think that is why I am not resistant at all when it comes to trying new things off of the menu. I know that if I am NOT going to like it, it is going to be because I just don't like that particular type of food/meat or whatever-- NOT that I don't like "their food". Everything is always great. It is definitely made fresh, and my family and I happen to really enjoy it. If we could eat from here 2-3 times a week, we would, but we all know that of course can be costly. =\ I am so happy that the restaurant I normally ordered from FOR YEARS gave me a hard time, because I complained about the chicken nuggets being so over cooked my poor child wouldn't even touch them. Tonight I asked them to add EXTRA crab (they put delicious crabmeat in their "house dishes"). Try them out. What do you really have to lose? How many times do we go ahead and eat at places and sometimes NOT like the dishes? It happens sometimes, right? Definitely 5 stars as far as Chinese take out goes. I've had pretty bad experiences at the neighboring take out place so I needed a chance. This place was great! I ordered chicken and eggplant with pork fried rice. I requested for it to be made with garlic sauce, with no extra cost. They added a lot of chicken and eggplant and tons of sauce!!! You can barely see the rice in the picture because there was so much stuff. The workers were also very kind and attentive. I've been at restaurants where I had to stand in front of the counter for 5 minutes before being seen so this was very refreshing. read more

Good place to get ghetto Chinese food. I call it ghetto, cuz real chinese people from china dont normally eat this stuff (pork fried rice, chicken broccoli, fried chicken wing etc)...guess im not real chinese cuz i order from here pretty often. On the days that my parents are too lazy to cook, which is pretty much half the week, we occasionally come here for take-out. We always order the chicken broccoli (substitute with garlic sauce) and it's pretty good. Garlic makes anything taste good. My little 4 year old cousin who's picky AF only eats chicken broccoli (normal sauce) from this place. He doesn't even wanna eat chicken broccoli from other fast food places. He can tell from the taste whether it's from Peking kitchen or not. We tried to lie to him once to make him eat chicken broccoli we ordered from somewhere else, but nope, he did not fall for that. Their chicken wings are fresh, greasy and tastes good. Spare ribs, fried shrimp and hot and sour soup are also what we usually get. People who work there are very friendly. They have a really big menu, lots of different specials and free drink after 10 bux. Most people who go there order chicken wings or sesame chicken but I find Chop Suey and Chow Mein pretty good. Nasty place. I ordered chicken with eggplant and egg drop soup. I was able to find 3 tiny pieces of chicken that tasted like rubber. I asked where is the chicken and they said that is what you get for lunch special. I just left, leaving them their nasty food. I've never ever seen such crooks in Chinese food places. Their food is alright not too bad but not too good either. Their Boneless spare ribs don't tatse good it taste dry and have no flavor. Their General tsos chicken is ok but they make it crispy like potato chips thats the lastthing anybody needs. Chicken is suppose to be soft not hard.
